Although she is no longer South Africa’s public protector, she continues to work against corruption, inequality and “oppression" from the government. Madonsela still impacts the lives of many South Africans by continuing to try and lift them out of poverty and break the cycle. She saw the weaknesses in the system and to this day still tries to correct them. She is also the only public protector known to finalise over 20 000 cases.

Thuli Madonsela will continue to fight the struggle against corruption and poverty in South Africa, although she will not hold the position of public protector again, she has no doubt inspired and encouraged those who wish to take up the position. He grew up on the streets of Cape Town and was inspired to write by his father, James Matthews who was a famous poet. He took an interest in photography and video at a young age and taught himself how to use a camera professionally. He documented the truth of the street riots which took place in Cape Town in the 80s.
His impact now?
Matthews resigned from his position as the CEO of SABC in June of 2016. His reason for doing this was because he could no longer put up with the corruption and political pressure that took place at the broadcaster. He is often described to be a man of principals and moral value. His resignation caused a stir within the country and impacted the lives of those in his industry, encouraging them too, to take a stand against corruption
Impact in the future?
Although it is unlikely that Jimi Matthews will have an impact in the future for the whole of South Africa, he will most definitely have an impact on the national media industry for years to come. As someone with personal connections to both Matthews and the media and broadcast industry, it can clearly be seen that his stance against corruption has taken root within this sector of the country, and will most likely continue to be a reminder to stand against
Strength, power and courage was born.” Malala continued to lead activist groups and conferences after being shot. She demonstrates persistence by continuing to speak out about the importance of access to education for women. In her grew courage, bravery and

All over the world, there are terrible things that have happened, but some people actually see them and have the courage to make the right change. Some of these people have even changed the way the world looks at things. Some great leaders and examples were Harriet Tubman, Melba Patillo Beals, and Malala Yousafzai. All of these characters had big motivations in their lives and felt the need to enact change. Harriet Tubman had lived through slavery herself and wanted to give other slaves the freedom they deserved. Melba was simply a highschool student who chose the long path of integrating an all white high school. Finally, Malala was a young girl who was determined to give women and girls the same chance at education
Her parents nurtured the background of this crusader to make her a great spokesperson. She also held positions throughout her life that allowed her to learn a lot about lynching. She was fueled by her natural drive to search for the truth.
...sounds a bit far fetched to say that a single man could change the world but it’s true. He was the single domino piece that needed to be here before a revolution could occur. With his experience, he could’ve helped demolish gang activity and change today’s youth. He never confessed to the murders he was accused of participating in but if he did commit the murders, I don’t find him at fault. There’s no denying that if he did happen to commit the murders, it’s definitely tragic and terrible. He should definitely pay the price for the lives of those lost if he committed the crime. He should also get a lesser time sentence or get his sentence changed to life without parole because of the lives that he potentially saved through his writings. He was wrongfully killed by a broken system but he’ll remain forever alive through the people he has touched through his activism.
I chose Emma Watson’s speech at the UN about feminism because I had previously watched a clip on facebook and it stuck with me. Watson uses arguments to inform and to inspire as well as using all three of pathos, logos, and ethos. In the speech, Watson asks men to understand that gender inequality is their issue as well.
Ella Blake was born on May 4th, 2004 ( also known as Star Wars Day, May the Forth be with you.) in Rensselaer, Indiana. She first realized she had a gift for music when her sister, Ruby Blake, was in 6th grade and joined band. Ruby joined band and started playing the clarinet. Ella was only 7 or 8 at the time due to her sister being 4 years older, but Ruby introduced Ella to the instrumental world. She would ask Ella's opinion on how she was doing on a song and Ella would have to listen to her sister play and try to find sounds she didn't think we're supposed to be there. Around 3 years later Ruby entered high school and quit band, instead of doing marching band, but Ella's Older brother joined band that year. He plays

People are influenced by everything from jobs, music, fashion, certain people, even to different cultures. Chefs never seemed like the group of people one would expect to have an impact on the world, but they do. They change the way people see food and show that it is far more than just a way to stay alive it is sort of like a new way of life to say. There was one woman who changed the scene entirely, by graduating from the Parisian cooking school Le Cordon Bleu, publishing 19 books, airing 13 television shows, and having 8 DVD releases. Julia Child has been an inspiration for many cooks but has also influenced society as a whole while changing the way people thought about food and at the same time, revolutionizing the professional cooking industry for women.
...plishments as a political activist absolutely impacted the rest of Africa. He was not the only Pan African leader on a mission, he found comradery, ironically, all over the world. His vision of a free Kenya was accomplished, his struggle was the road less traveled, and his accomplishments are invaluable.

Renowned British actress and activist for the feminist movement, Emma Watson, in her speech to the United Nations, “HeForShe,” argues that gender discrimination is a plague to human civilization. Watson’s purpose is to sway the audience that gender inequality has to come to an end, with the support of men and women as advocates for egalitarianism. Additionally, she enlightens the audience that the problem originated from political affairs, the economy, and social disparity. Watson creates a compassionate tone in order to convey men, specifically those who negatively perceived feminism or did not think that feminist issues affected them. Nevertheless, Watson’s speech is ineffectively persuasive due to the poor description she formulated
Both Nelson Mandela and Malala Yousafzai are known for their devotion to human rights advocacy. During their lives, they have spoken up about social issues and taken matters into their own hands. I chose them because, in my opinion, they are both examples of great courage and commitment to important causes. Furthermore, I truly respect and admire the way they have achieved great changes in the world.
