I chose Emma Watson because she is a great actress, and I love almost all of the movies she has played in, including the Harry Potter series. I think she can be a great role model for young girls, because she is smart and has made a great name for herself in the movie making industry.

She was very close with her co-stars, Daniel Radcliffe and Rupert Grint. She thought of them as brothers, and still keeps in touch with them even after the Harry Potter series ended. According to Vogue magazine, Watson was one of the highest paid actresses in Hollywood in 2011. She was paid a total of $30 million dollars for the last two Harry Potter movies.
In 2009, Watson enrolled in Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island. She chose an American school because she wanted to study many subjects all at one time. Another reason for choosing this school was so she could fit in and be normal. But sadly, in 2011 Watson parted ways with school to finish the last two Harry Potter movies. Watson briefly attended Oxford University, but ended up graduating from Brown University with an English degree in 2014.
Watson has starred in a total of twenty-one movies. Two of those twenty-one are coming out later this year; Beauty and the Beast comes out on March 17, 2017 (aceshowbiz.com). In “Beauty and the Beast”, Watson will be playing the role of Belle. This movie is based off the Disney cartoon version that came out in 1997. This movie looks interesting and I think I will be going to see it when it comes
At any point in time, someone’s world can be turned upside down by an unthinkable horror in a matter of seconds. In the movie Holmes, in the beginning, was much more prideful and rude to Watson and people in general, but later on, Holmes was a lot nicer and somewhat humble at least compared to the book. This difference made the viewer feel less liking of the character of Holmes and it almost seemed that the director tried to save Holmes’s character by making him nicer at the ending. The difference had a big impact on the feeling of the movie because it felt that he was so stuck up he was rather unapproachable. ...

America, in the early twentieth century, was centered on the Progressive Era. This was a period of unrest and reform. Monopolies continued in spite of the Sherman Antitrust Act of 1890. Social problems flourished in the U.S. During the 1910s labor unions continued to grow as the middle classes became more and more unhappy. Unsafe working conditions were underscored by the Triangle Shirtwaist Factory fire in which hundreds of female workers were killed. The plight of the Negro worsened, all while women finally received the right to vote through the ratification of the nineteenth amendment. Although this was a turbulent time in America, it was also a time to remember. During this time period, Emma Goldman devoted all of her attention to the cause of upholding the first amendment clause of freedom of speech. The right to free speech is one of the most fundamental American guarantees. However, defining the limits of free speech has never been an easy task.
