Elon Musk was born to a Canadian fashion model and African-born British engineer in South Africa on June 28, 1971. At age ten, his parents divorced and Musk made the decision to live with his father, even though they had an unstable relationship. Two years later, the young entrepreneur designed and created a video game called Blastar, which he later sold for five hundred dollars (Newton). In 1990, he attended Queen's University in Kingston, Ontario. Two years later he transferred to the University of Pennsylvania (UPenn). After receiving his Bachelor of Science degree in physics, he moved up to California. His goal was to inquire a PhD in applied physics at Stanford University. …show more content…
