Kris Kringle and his wife, Martha, agreed to move to Elfland and live and work in the village with the Elves making the toys. In addition, they agreed that his official name would be Santa Claus. While some of the elves were busy helping Mrs. Kringle or Claus's pack and get ready for the move to their village. Staying at Elfland Santa will use the time to get use to, and working with the reindeer. After taking a few test rides in the sleigh, Santa found that his coat of many colors is not made for getting in and out of a sleigh. Returning to the staging area after one of the practice runs in the sleigh, Santa looks at the elves that have gathered around the sleigh and says, “Man, this coat is too long and heavy. “A coat of many colors is one thing, but pants of many colors, no. I don’t think so." “What I would like," he continues, “Is a suit, you know, matching pants and coat.” “However, the color is optional, as I truly don’t have a favorite.” As the crowd started to settle down, not as many elves are offering suggestions. A small girl elf, wearing a green-bibbed dress and white blouse, embroidered with Christmas decorations, made her way to the front of the stage. Her long black hair is in two braids that hang down to just below her shoulders. One tied with a red bow, the other with a green one. Each of her red and green-checkered socks each has a small silver bell for decoration. Standing on the tip of her toes, in her shiny black shoes, she cam hardly reach the floor of the stage. Looking in the direction of the stairs, then back at the young elf. Santa nods his head toward the stairs, encouraging her to come up on the stage. Walking up the steps then over to stand in front of Santa and his wife, she says, “Good morning Mr. Claus, Mrs. Claus, my name is Adalyn Paige I---” Santa
