Once upon a time there lived a young savage named Addie. Addie could care less about anyone in her path, and lived the thug life. One day Addie woke up feeling especially savage and headed over to her local Dunkin Donuts. On the way to Dunkin Addie ran every red light, and on the way noticed squirell getting electrocuted on the powerline above. Soon enough Addie made it to Dunkin and ordered a quadruple shot espresso with a side of extra caffeinated donuts. When she was leaving the restaurant there was a two person line trying to exit the room. Instead of waiting in line, she gently put down her coffee, and socked both of the people in the mouth. After relieving herself she slowly picked up her coffee and left Dunkin. After leaving Dunkin Donuts …show more content…
Addie simply returned home to watch Netflix for the day rather than going to work, because she was feeling especially savage. The next day Addie woke up only to find herself in the same clothing from the previous night. She didn't think anything of it, and continued her daily routine for getting ready. When she went on to pass the traffic light she noticed the same squirell getting shocked by the power line. “Wow squirrels are idiots.” She thought to herself. Continuing to head to work she went into her bosses office to explain that she was not sick, but she had simply lost the ability to care.
Her boss was very confused and reassuring her that she had signed into work the previous day. “See Addie, you singed into work on the 30th… which was a Monday.Today is the 31st… which is a Tuesday. You never skipped a day.” “Bruh… I thought today was a Wednesday… it’s lowkey a Wednesday.” “Addie, I’m not sure if you are hungover or not, but it is definitely a Tuesday.” Addie returned to her office and finished out the day with the same bad attitude as the day before. The next day Addie woke up late, and looked out the window just in time to yet again see the same squirell getting electrocuted. Addie decided that this morning she was going to go to Dunkin again, so she went in, and ordered her food. On her way out was the same people, wearing the same ugly clothes, still struggling to get out the door. Addie finally made it out the door. When Addie got to work her boss was yet again wearing the same clothes. Addie was trying to ignore it until she got to her desk where she could put all of the clues together. “Normally when something is done over… it’s so that you can do it better or fix it.” Addie thought to
herself. Addie continued work as normal, and really thought about her recent choices. The next day Addie woke up, and proceeded to get ready as usual. She made sure that she left the house early to catch the squirrel right as it was running up the light pole. She went to Dunkin, and rather than getting one coffee, she got a whole carton for her co-workers. Addie worked extra hard on her work that day, and made sure that her cubicle was clean before she left. On her way home she helped her older neighbor, and took her out to dinner. That night Addie went to sleep realizing that she did her very best to help others, and that was all that she could do. Addie woke up the next day only to find no squirrel on the power line, and all of her co-workers were wearing different clothes. In the end, Addie learned that it’s okay to be savage, but it’s important to be nice. While Addie can still be a gangster, she can do it with love. Addie realized that by redoing her day over again in a nicer way, that it is much more fun to be nice instead of making everyone else feel bad. Although it seemed like she was savage when she was mean, she was even more of a gangster when she learned how to be nice and thoughtful.
Mattie, the sole owner of a shop named "Jesus is Lord Used Tires", was accustomed to changing and rotating tires everyday. One day she received a customer who had driven over some cracked glass pieces on the side of the road. Mattie took standard procedures by lifting the car, taking out the tire, and finally dipping it to see if air bubbles would come up. "I'm sorry to tell you, hon, these are bad. I can tell you right now these aren't going to hold a patch. They're shot through." (page 40). Mattie was exceptionally nice to Taylor and told her to come inside and have some coffee. After drinking a cup of coffee and giving Turtle some juice Mattie came up with the idea that Taylor could work for her. Taylor being the one who doesn't like tires in the first place accepted the generous offer, but went almost nuts with the huge tire wall that surrounded her. Taylor was a good worker and didn't have any real complaints about her position, but she still had a fear of exploding tires. This fear was noticeable to Mattie. Mattie being the rough-tough but nice person, asked Taylor nicely to follow her, when suddenly Mattie threw a 5-gallon Jerry can at her. "Knocked the wind out of you, but it didn't kill you, right?" "That's twenty-eight pounds of water. Twenty-eight pounds of air is about what you put into a tire. When it hits you, that's what it feels like." (page 81).

For my report, I observed the customers at a Starbucks in downtown St. Petersburg. Each time I visited this establishment, there were consistent factors as well as unique ones during each observation. The morning crowd of people was vastly different than the evening crowd. I did however see many parallels with the morning and lunch time crowd. Each time I visited, There seemed to be an upbeat and fast paced environment.
Stout, Martha. “When I Woke Up Tuesday Morning, It Was Friday,” in The Myth of Sanity:
Tanner had a plan and he told me to go order a hotdog then we would examine it to compare the hotdogs Robert is selling to the ones Tanner sells. I ordered the hotdog and Tanner noticed something ver familiar. “Aha, he is using my hotdogs because my hotdogs are the only kind that are made with cinnamon pretzel bread and my buns have a tiny T initial in the corner.” I was really impressed of how much detail he put in his hot dog buns.”The reason why I put that initial is because I know how to identify my buns if someone tries to steal my hot dogs again, because believe me this isn’t the first time someone has tried to steal my hotdogs.” At last, we finally found out Robert was the guilty one. Tanner and Mario got their hotdogs that were stolen back and Robert’s business was shut down. We realized that sometimes people do all kinds of crazy things to see people suffer in order for them to be happier, even if it’s not the right thing to
I heard this story a while ago from a friend. It starts out with a woman who is driving late at night in the middle of nowhere, trying to get home from a long road trip. She is exhausted and is having trouble staying awake and paying attention to the road. Next, the “low gas” light on her car comes on and the car needs gas. The woman doesn’t know where the nearest town or gas station is, but she keeps driving. Eventually she comes upon an old rundown gas station. She doesn’t want to stop there since it’s so quiet and she feels unsafe, but the car needs gas so she decides to pull in. An attendant walks out to help fill her car up with gas. He is very shady looking and creeps her out. She did not like the whole situation at all and felt very uncomfortable. As soon as he is done filling her car with gas, she pays him. Next, the attendant tells her he needs to talk to her inside. She refuses, but he keeps on insisting that it is very important. When she refuses again, he grabs her arm in an attempt to get her to come inside, but the wo...
The family then begins to suspect that the Inspector was not genuine. I would work at 3:00 pm when I got off at 11:00 in the evening. She had Saturday and Sunday off, and I had Wednesday and Thursday off”. With a nonchalant shrug of his right shoulder, he confidently said, “We managed though." “Then”, his voice grew louder, “was the job at the Marine base, I went through some damn shit while I was working there for 30 damn years. And retired.”
An effective commercial persuades the viewer to go buy the product or service. The “Doritos” commercial which utilized dogs advertises its product so well by portraying the Doritos bag as so irresistible that it made the dogs behave as humans in order to get the bag of chips. The “Doritos” commercial appropriately persuades viewers of all ages to buy their product by using the classical appeals: pathos, ethos, logos, and kairos.
Elise and her family were rushed back to their neighborhood. They were taken into the woods a few blocks away from their house. There, laying in the leaves was Kyle’s bright red bike. Elise ran toward it, she knew Kyle wasn’t anywhere near there, but it was his bike, he loved that thing. She examined it, tears running down her face. Out of the corner of her eye, she saw a small folded piece of paper. She quickly picked it up and stuffed it in her pocket. As she watched the police wrap the yellow crime scene tape around the trees, she took it out of her pocket and delicately unfolded it. She was shocked at what she saw. In some of the neatest cursive she had ever seen, the words Clue Number One were written across the

Preliminary Starbucks – one of the fastest growing companies in the US and in the world - has built its position on the market by connecting with its customers, and creating a “third place” beside home and work, where people can relax and enjoy themselves. It was the motto of Starbucks’ owner Howard Schultz and, mostly thanks to his philosophy, the company has become the biggest coffee drink retailer in the world. However, within the new customer satisfaction report, there are shown some concerns, that the company has lost the connection with customers and it must be taken some steps to help Starbucks to go back on the right path regarding customer satisfaction. I will briefly summarize and examine issues facing Starbucks. Starting from there, I will pick the most important issue and study it from different positions.

Target market is whom the business is aiming its products at and focuses on 4 categories such as Geographic’s, demographics, psychographics and behavioural. From this I’ll focus on Geographic’s and demographics. As we can see on the picture Geographical has to do with where the business is located and ensuring its location is convenient.
