West virginia has the highest drug overdose rate in the nation. That is three times the average. The state itself has the second highest unemployment rate, which brings depression and loss of hope. So, when people feel down they turn to drugs whether that be prescription or straight from the dealers. Another main reason for job issues is because the can’t pass a drug test.
