However, after her conviction, she managed to raise a daughter, became an important seamstress in her community, and set an example for her close-knit community. Pearl, the daughter of a convicted sex offender, grew up living a different life from her peers.
Hester Street is a 1975 film about a Russian Jew family coming to America during the third wave of the migration era to the United States. She is a book character for the book The Scarlet Letter by Nathaniel Hawthorne. Now, Hester is not the worst mother, but she is not the best either. How can you be the best mother in the world with a heathenish daughter like Pearl? Still, Hester does her best, and that's all anyone should ask for. Hester is a good mother because she looks out for Pearl's future, she knows when to be stern and she is a great role model.

In Nathaniel Hawthorne’s The Scarlet Letter, the reader is introduced to a woman named Hester Prynne, who beared a scarlet letter to represent her sin of adultery and lived a life as an outcast from society. The story heavily revolves around the idea of sin, which plays a huge part in Hester Prynne’s life. Hawthorne uses different aspects of Prynne’s life to create several conflicts that occur throughout the story. These conflicts include: herself, another, a group, nature, and the supernatural. Hester Prynne has several conflicts, and as these are resolved, her character is revealed.
“Your child has autism spectrum disorder” are words no parent wants to hear. They are words that will instill fear, worry, and sadness. When parents hear this for the first time, they will have many questions. “Is there anything I can do to help my child? If so, what can be done?” Early intervention services; such as applied behavior analysis therapy, occupational therapy, sensory integration therapy, and speech therapy before the age of three; can help improve the development of children with autism spectrum disorder. As an educator, early intervention is a subject teachers should be well educated in. It would be beneficial to the educator and the student, for a teacher to know and understand early intervention strategies.

In The Scarlet Letter, by Nathaniel Hawthorne, Hester is publicly recognized as an adulteress and expelled from society. Alongside the theme of isolation, the scarlet letter, or symbol of sin, is meant to shame Hester but instead transforms her from a woman of ordinary living into a stronger person.
In chapter seventeen Hendrick teaches us how to read telescopically. Hendrick introduce the his lecture with four methods that can help us improve our telescopically reading. The first method involves searching for connectives. Connectives are very crucial because they symbolize a change in context. Some of the most know connectives are, therefore, and, and but. Likewise, Hendrick also mentions that we should pay attention to context. Hendrick states that when examining a verse we should read the verse before and after the verse you're reading. Additionally, Hendricks third method is evaluating the book as a whole. It would be like standing on top of a mountain and looking down to observe all the land beneath it. By establishing this method into our reading Hendrick writes that it would help us grasp the big picture. Sometimes we get so involved in the small things that we often miss the main point. 2. People with autism have problems with abstract and conceptual thinking. Some may eventually acquire abstract skills, but others never will. When abstract concepts must be used, use visual cues, such as drawings or written words, to augment the abstract idea. Avoid asking vague questions such as, "Why did you do that?" Instead, say, "I did not like it when you slammed your book down when I said it was time for gym. Next time put the book down gently, and tell me that you are angry. Throughout all the sinful things Hester Prynne has done, she still managed to obtain good qualities. Hester was an adulterer from the book The Scarlet Letter by Nathaniel Hawthorne. Hester was looked down upon by the citizens of Boston because of the sin she and another person committed, but no one knew who her partner in crime was because she refused to release his name. Towards the very end of the story Hester’s accomplice confessed and left Hester and Pearl feeling joyous, because now they didn’t have to keep in a secret. Hester is a trustworthy, helpful, and brave woman throughout The Scarlet Letter.

Since Autism doesn’t present the same in each person, everyones needs are unique. Where some will excel others may drag behind, it 's important to figure out what areas need to be focused on more so than others early on so you can target them with structured programs and activities. Most people with Autism have underlying medical conditions as well as behavioral conditions so being on the correct medication and monitoring that is very important. Often times it 's recommended for children with Autism to go to therapy sessions for speech, social interaction skills, and general development. It 's extremely important to focus on social skills since that 's one of the main components of Autism is a lack or strain on social skills. People with autism can look normal but they lack communication skills and are withdrawn within there own world. Many people with autism usually have rituals or they do the same thing constantly which makes them need constant supervision from their parents or state agencies. Children with autism usually don’t ever use creative or imaginative play. They also need to be taught everything that they know.
