Dr. Edward George Armstrong: Martin Freeman
Dr.Armstrong is a trusting doctor who is often suspected by the others to be the murderer. Armstrong is convinced by Wargrave (the killer) to create a plan to catch the killer that leads to his own death. The actor that will play him is Martin Freeman. Freeman is a very popular actor who has appeared in The Hobbit film series and the BBC television series Sherlock. Armstrong is a timid man who does not want any problems. Freeman would act this character perfectly seeing as his character as Watson in Sherlock is quite like Armstrong to begin with. He is a likeable personality who will be a welcome addition to the already stellar cast. That is why Martin Freeman is Dr.Armstrong.
William Henry Blore: James McAvoy
William Blore is a strong, former policeman who likes to lead the other characters, but often suspects the wrong people. His experience as a policeman causes others to trust his advise and follow him somewhat blindly. The actor that will play him is James McAvoy. McAvoy may be a Scottish actor, but his British accent is

Lombard is a well-built man due to his work in the army, and does not consider the women on the island to be the killer, which proves to be his downfall when Vera Claythorne kills him. The actor that will play him is Christian Bale. Bale is one of the most popular actors in the past couple decades, starring in The Dark Knight trilogy and movies like American Psycho. He has also starred alongside Michael Caine in many films, so their chemistry will be evident in the movie. Bale is committed to changing his body based on his performance, and in this case, his character stays around until the very end so his built body must be evident. Lombard is charming yet authoritative, building relationships with all the characters, especially Vera Claythorne. That is why Christian Bale is Philip
Some actors in this movie do a good job of portraying their character. However, a few take away from the overall experience, such as Tony Ross and Claudia McNeil. Tony Ross, who is an actor known for Pancho Villa, plays Stacey Logan. Claudia McNeil was an actress known for her role in Raisen in the Sun, and she portrays Big Ma. Both of these
It is known that the “perfect guy” persona should not be trusted, no matter how he may be characterized. Agatha Christie’s novel And Then There Were None perfectly illustrates this through the character Phillip Lombard. Phillip Lombard, portrayed as the hero, the man who will save everyone and kill the murderer, is one of the worst on the island. Because Wargrave’s goal was to kill those who were the least guilty first, he exposes and deals with Phillip in the best way possible. The guilt, as a result of his crime, begins to tear him apart. The crime that Phillip commits and the way he dies are definitely in association with each other.
work wonders for the role as he used such a silly voice, though if he
As the good prince of Arragon, Denzel Washington did a superb job, and as Claudio, the love-struck innocent, Robert Sean Leonard performed great just as he has done in any other theatrical movies that I have seen him in.
One of the most interesting choices of the movie is how Joseph McCarthy’s impact on America is portrayed. For one, Clooney did not cast anyone to play the role of Senator McCarthy.
in the way he speaks in a sly voice. He is the perfect actor to play
De Niro is very good in the lead role as Michael. He is totally convincing throughout the movie, bringing authenticity to the role. He has a certain enigmatic quality and stoicism that serves the character well, especially in the
Matt Smith’s performance in this episode sowed mastery of both verbal and nonverbal communication when he is playing The Doctor. He is a very direct, polychromic, and denotative individual through this whole episode. He weaves in nonverbal reinforcements from kinesics, proxemics, paralanguage, and to haptics. By doing these things he is not only putting his own twist on the doctor, but also making his acting realistic to bring the watcher into the story of Doctor Who.
Drew Ardis is evidently very good at voice impressions, knowing the drastic difference from his voice in real life, and the voice he gave to the character he played, the voice he was able to crank out was stellar. The voice reminded me of the Doctor’s voice from the Arsenic and Old Lace movie, it was very
Denzel Washington plays the role of Major Bennett ‘Ben Marco’ who is war veteran in the Manchurian Candidate. Ben Marco begins to doubt what took place during the Gulf War within his Army unit because of strange dreams that seem realistic to him. On another horizontal, during the war, Raymond Shaw, played by Liev Schreiber rescued all except two members. Raymond Shaw was awarded the Medal of Honor that pushed his political career to the forefront. After a significant passage of time, one of Marco’s ex army personnel, Al Melvin, had been suffering from confusing dreams and memories. Simultaneously during this passage of time, Shaw is standing for the post of Vice President Candidature due to his boost in the political network. Eleanor Prentiss
King’s decision to pick Gerard Joseph to play the character of Thomas Hodge was excellent. The character of Thomas Hodge called for someone who can successfully express the dilemma between feeling a sense of responsibility towards his community and fulfilling his professional obligations. I felt that by picking Gerard Joseph, King was successfully able to fulfill this breakdown. Joseph’s light brown complexion symbolized the struggle of his character to fit into both White and African American cultures. Joseph’s lean physique also added credibility to his role because it indeed made him look like someone who originated from a wealthy suburban family.
The John Watson imposter who was played by the actor R. Hamilton Wright, was deceiving Dr. Evans in order to obtain Sherlock holmes from the mental institution and murder him. Matron who played as a ward nurse was actually an cooperating with Dr. Evans and all the other Character but the John Watson imposter to help catch the assassin who was the John Watson imposter (R. To preserve the storytelling style of the epic's author(s), I plan to employ a narrator to guide the action. A recognizable, intelligent, regal, and yet not overpowering voice should be chosen. This voice should give an air of importance to the narration without being so enthralling that the action is missed. I plan to seek out such Englishmen as Patrick Stewart, Sir Ian Mckellan, Sir Anthony Hopkins, and John Geilgud, and to offer them the opportunity of auditioning for this essential role. The selected actor's voice will begin and end the film, while covering breaks in the action and explaining confusing sections of the story.
This movie has many well-known actors, besides Paltrow and Damon, including Marion Cotillard, Laurence Fishburne, Jude Law and Kate Winslet Who play Dr. Leonora Orantes, Dr. Ellis Cheever, Alan Krumwiede, and Dr. Erin Mears, respectively. There are many scenes where these actors show their wonderful acting such as when Cheever sees the janitor and offers to help his little boy who has ADHD. He shows that he really is a good man on more than one occasion such as when he really does go and help the little boy by giving up his own cure. He is also shown to be a nice and caring man when he calls Dr. Orantes and ask how SHE is doing, not how her work is going but how she herself is holding up. Orantes shows that she is a good woman when her dying act is trying to give a man her jacket because he is cold. Mears is shown to be a kind heart when she runs back to tell the village that their “cure” was a placebo. Of all of the main cast, the only one that doesn’t seem to have a kind heart is Krumwiede. He is shown to be a manipulated and deceiving man when he decides to risk the life of his fans by lying to them to try and gain money and
