Dr. Edward George Armstrong: Martin Freeman
Dr.Armstrong is a trusting doctor who is often suspected by the others to be the murderer. Armstrong is convinced by Wargrave (the killer) to create a plan to catch the killer that leads to his own death. The actor that will play him is Martin Freeman. Freeman is a very popular actor who has appeared in The Hobbit film series and the BBC television series Sherlock. Armstrong is a timid man who does not want any problems. Freeman would act this character perfectly seeing as his character as Watson in Sherlock is quite like Armstrong to begin with. He is a likeable personality who will be a welcome addition to the already stellar cast. That is why Martin Freeman is Dr.Armstrong.

William Henry Blore: James McAvoy
William Blore is a strong, former policeman who likes to lead the other characters, but often suspects the wrong people. His experience as a policeman causes others to trust his advise and follow him somewhat blindly. The actor that will play him is James McAvoy. Lombard is a well-built man due to his work in the army, and does not consider the women on the island to be the killer, which proves to be his downfall when Vera Claythorne kills him. The actor that will play him is Christian Bale. Bale is one of the most popular actors in the past couple decades, starring in The Dark Knight trilogy and movies like American Psycho. He has also starred alongside Michael Caine in many films, so their chemistry will be evident in the movie. Bale is committed to changing his body based on his performance, and in this case, his character stays around until the very end so his built body must be evident.
