In The Hobbit, Bilbo goes on an adventure with Gandalf and thirteen dwarves, and one of the dwarves is named Dori. During the adventure, Bilbo couldn’t do lots of things that dwarves could do, so Dori helped Bilbo with that problem. For example, Dori tried to help Bilbo escape from the evil Goblins and helped Bilbo get up a tree from the ferocious Wargs (which I think made a great difference to the adventure). Dori was able to help Bilbo throughout his troubles because of how much stamina and strength he had. Dori risked his life to save Bilbo and did not give up to save the burglar (Bilbo). Dori was in great pain, but he knew not to let go of the eagle because he knew what would happen if he were to let go. If Dori let go Bilbo, he would regret it. If Dori let go of his hands to touch his legs would’ve been so sorry, and everybody would blame and dislike him. This again, shows that he is brave and that he can hold pain in to save both himself and Bilbo’s lives. Dori knows that if he lost Bilbo, they would never get their treasure from Smaug because they have no burglar to take the treasure
