Somehow his missions and performance are more relatable to the American society than the other candidate, as in it shapes the understanding that Donald Trump cares about the need of its people more. As silly as his reputation on woman and bad mouthing, that fact he wants to build a wall for blocking immigrants to enter America, and when the Americans took it seriously, they cannot be blamed. Thus strategy, differently made him externally succeed on collecting gigantic supporters and made him as big as he is now, the last 2 Presidential …show more content…
We can see Trump’s Goals and Objectives in his presidential vision and mission campaign, his “Make America Great Again!” was clear enough that he understands that America has the potential, but is buried, therefor he encourages the public together make it great again. His policies towards ISIS, the Wall and his economic plan are hot topics which public both his supporter and non-supporter will respond to his objectives. In this step, he is way in front of Hillary when the public up until now have not yet moved on from her email past scandal and refuse to look up into her promises.
But anyhow, Trumps goals and objectives sometimes triggered public’s confusedness whether to have a leader like him or not. When he makes controversial issues like when he was accused into sexual abuse, talks racist and sexist, and bad mouthing, people’s interest were drown away from Trump as a leader goal imagination.
Step 5: Formulating Action and Response Strategies.
Public relations consultants religiously tell their clients, “Always take the high road, and never ever bad mouth the competition.” But Trump doesn’t listen to public relations consultants; he listens to Trump. And he pulls no punches, even taking on sacred cows that other politicians won’t go near. Somehow, he gets away with it; nothing sticks; so far, at least. He takes on all the critics. And people seem to love the breath of fresh – and often, hot –
The use of persuasive literary devices and tactics guarantee a strong and powerful address. However, Trump’s address, could leave Americans feeling unsettled as he manipulates a traditional address. He synthesizes an addresses that will surely be remembered for its lack of sophistication, abandoned formality, and aggressive tone. The ramifications of breaking tradition results in Trump’s failure to prompt
In, “The Lie Factory” by Jill Lepore, she examines what attracts a voter to a candidate. “You can put on a fight (‘he likes a good hot battle, with no punches pulled’), or you can put on a show (‘he likes the movies; he likes mysteries; he likes fireworks and parades’): ‘So if you can’t fight, PUT ON A SHOW! And if you put on a good show, Mr. and Mrs. America will turn out to see it.” (Whitaker qtd. in Lepore) In the case of Trump, he combines both fighting and showmanship to create a dangerously alluring combination. The more ostentatious he can be, the more support he earns. Every hateful remark, every verbal jab is given media coverage, until Trump is spoken and known by everyone, becoming an almost mythical figure. He repeats the same mantra, everyone is bad, and I am the victim. I am rich so I will make you rich. I will make America great again. Every day, there is a new more vicious and personal attack, yet he has desensitized us to the point in which we no longer abhor such comments, but instead laugh, and find comedy and entertainment. To some, even acceptance and
Every 20th of January, the United States undergoes the passing of power from one president, to another. On this specific election, Donald J. Trump was elected as president. He has received much criticism from opposition, but much praise from his supporters. Although a very controversial person, Trump gave a great speech that was based on uniting the people as one. Trump used multiple rhetorical strategies such as repetition, pauses in speech, and listing are just a few of them. Adding hints of populism, his speech was one that touched many citizens. While very controversial, Trump’s inauguration speech was one that was based on the people, not the elite, about bringing back what made America great, and uniting everyone as one.
It is true, as Hedges writes, that “Political leaders, who use the tools of mass propaganda to create a sense of faux intimacy with citizens, no longer need to be competent, sincere, or honest.” We are already live in this reality. Donald Trump, our very own President, has been widely accused of making mistake after mistake. Sharing classified information with Russia, talking smack and threatening North Korea, the list goes on. The other day, I even heard that he tweeted about the United Forces being ‘locked and loaded’, implying that we’re ready for nuclear war with North Korea because of this. Despite all of the suspicious actions of the POTUS, people still take his side, claiming he’s America’s saviour. It goes to show how no matter how crazy someone is,
First of all, Donald Trump is a businessman-not a politician. He received his degree in Economics/Real Estate from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School of Finance. In 2007, Forbes Magazine reported his annual earnings in entertainment alone to be $32 million. This would have meant a significant pay cut, had he become United States President. Currently, he is the producer and star of “The Apprentice,” which has been on air since 2004 (“The Apprentice”). He holds multiple offices at the Trump Organization, and is also a chairman of Trump Hotels and Casino Resorts, Incorporated (Project Vote Smart). Donald Trump has put his name on products and companies both successful and unsuccessful, including food products, corporations, and a clothing line. Trump once stated that “The stuff that’s been sent over from China falls apart after a year and a half. It’s crap.” Ironically, the majority of his products are manufactured in China (Webley, 8). How can we expect a man to keep in touch with an entire country when he can hardly keep in touch with his own business? Donald Trump has had some other losses in business as well, including a failed airline business and multiple bankruptcies in his casinos, among other lost investments. (Webley, 3).
Trump assures voters he will defend their second amendment right to bear arms, an issue many Republicans feel very passionately about. Other issues such as his tax reform plan are designed to appeal to middle class workers frustrated with their jobs or lack of jobs as trump assures voters if elected he will bring business, trade, and jobs back to America. One issue Trump addresses that is also a huge stance the Republican party overall has taken is that he will repeal the Affordable Care Act, and overall he will save our nation from the turmoil and trouble that President Obama and a Democratic executive branch has gotten this nation
The 2016 presidential election has been one of the most talked about elections because of one man, Donald Trump. When the billionaire real estate mogul announced that he would be running for the Republican Party candidacy in the 2016 presidential election, he sent this country into an uproar. Donald Trump, who has never shied away from the media, has become one of the most talked about presidential candidate in history. On the day of his announcement for the republican candidacy, he sparked controversy because of his comment about the Mexican people, stating:
Because Donald Trump wanted to become a Presidential Candidate to shake up America and our way of choosing a Commander in Chief he has taken the focus off of other candidates. To me, he has done just that. In turn, he has also showcased a lot of his ignorant behavior and poor attitudes towards others. Eventually, this will affect how America votes; against Donald Trump. Furthermore, Donald Trump lacks a Presidential form of social interaction. This candidate appears to be impatient when others challenge his position on facts versus his opinions. When he dislikes someone politically or personally, Trump uses his popular attack-mode tactics to make his point. Repeatedly Donald Trump fails to be intellectually stimulating as a Presidential Candidate. Often he has a habit of stating his offensive
Donald Trump has been a bad influence to the United States that doesn’t deserve to be president. The entire thing he has done during his running doesn’t show that is able to be president. Trump is an arrogant person that doesn’t deserve to be president and doesn’t deserve to be able to run a country; he is acting like a child he is not mature to run for
Donald Trump can be appreciated for his cunning business savvy and an ability to at various times throughout his career, make it big. By co-creating this reality show with Mark Burnett, not only has he capitalized on the public's desire to fantasize about (and for a precious few, compete for) achieving a high-profile, financially lucrative career as a business mogul, he has also brought to the mainstream audience a heated, emotional and stimulating debate about something that we all seem to have an opinion on: what it takes to be a great leader.
Examining Trump’s rhetoric and past actions, it becomes clear that Trump’s ability to be the leader of America, especially in today’s already heated world climate, becomes questionable. When even the members of his own party refuse to endorse him and claim that he is not qualified to run a country, the general public needs to sit back and question his integrity. In Trump’s past, he has proven to be an insensitive, racist, greedy business man. Why would he prove to be any different once elected to office?
Trump has had a remarkable impact on social media and in result that has helped build the reputation he has today as well as the popular stance he had all before becoming president. His influence on media began when he became the executive producer and host of The Apprentice. Within the 14 seasons as host, Trump had accumulated north of 200 million dollars, aside from how much he was making from his other businesses (wiki 1). Throughout his acting career he has also appeared in 12 films and 14 television shows as a cameo and earned himself a Star on the Walk of Fame ( the life history
The decision for success, for Trump, is work hard and be determined and you can achieve your goals. He has shown this hard working mentality as he was a businessman. He acquired many profitable properties and made smart decisions to eventually gain over a billion dollars. He also showed this determination as he was running for president. Although he was called an "unfit" president he still campaigned and won over the votes of many citizens. In the end, Trump won and his determination to succeed brought him to the White House. All people can learn from Trump because of his hard work and
