Parks for dogs would be a good thing for the community. I believe that the community would be better, because there are always going to be dog owners in the neighborhood. Its a place where you can meet, and get to know your neighbors. It also benefits the dogs, they get to exersice ant meet other dogs. People are always going to own dogs no matter where they live. A dog park would give space where you can socialize with neighbors . It would help build the community, bond with people. Dogs would have some space, instead of being cooped up.Dog parks would be a good thing for dogs, and their owners. It would help keep the owners pets took care of, give them space to be dogs. Also help the neighborhood, not so many barking dogs.Exerciseing
Riverbank, a large city, has a district with a huge problem. Grant’s Valley, although booming with business, is a quaint and historic part of Riverbank that the residents want to keep that way. The business aspect of Grant’s Valley has an ever growing need for more space for tourists to park and there is just too much traffic for the area to withstand. Riverbank’s historically quaint Grant’s Valley would benefit from the destruction of the unused junior-high on 35th and Princeton and the new construction of a one hundred space parking lot and a new park. This would attract more people and lessen the unattractive curb appeal of the parking lot in the residential area of Grant’s Valley that the residents want
parks system is a great way to get away. If we continue to allow our parks to
Also, educating parents and grandparents etc, on animal/ children safety could greatly reduce the number of attacks on children. You should never leave a young child unattended with a dog, or any animal for that matter, its just not safe. Children that have been attacked by family dogs that have been around said child its whole life, tend to be the results of the child being left alone with the dog and not properly supervised, not nasty or mean dogs. Any dog could snap and turn on somebody, esp a child who say, doesn’t realize the dog is in pain and jumps on them etc. As long as dogs and childrens interactions are supervised many dangerous situations can be avoided.
If there was a dog park, property values would most definitely go up. The community should try to make every resident happy where they live. Some cat owners don't feel dog owners should be able to get a dog park since they themselves are not asking for a place to bring their cats. Cats are more of indoor animals and they don't need as much attention and exercise as dogs. Cats don't need wide open spaces to play around in. People feel as though they are being treated unfairly due to the lack of yard space and areas for their pets to roam around
This could also mean sacrificing a small portion of the park land to build a one lane road to extend to the main street roads which would also create accessibility. This would not only benefit the residents from an increase in house prices through the subdivision but also the council would get more rates from additional housing and revamp the park itself as it would be redesigned in the
Do you ever wish that could bring your dog into a store with you? Well, people with service dogs wish they could too. A person with a service dog is defined as a person who needs assistance because of their disability. A disability can range from blindness, to psychiatric disorders, and chronic pain. Service dogs have been refused entry into public businesses and restaurants, because they are dogs. Businesses owners refuse service dogs, since they believe they are disruptive messy. We are supposed to be an accepting, friendly society, yet we won’t even let people with service dogs into public businesses.
Restate Thesis Statement: Dogs don’t only give owners happiness; they also affect their owners positively.
This can be extrapolated to a community service as a recreational activity, where people have to interact and that way the life of a city becomes more outgoing. A dog park can be a good experience for dogs because they can feel the relaxing place where they do not have to use a leash, so they are free to move wherever they feel like inside the park. This situation can be helpful to the people, since they are free of worries of their dogs because a big, closed pet-friendly place would give them the confidence that there are no hazards, like vehicles, or any damage to the dog. Also, a dog park in the city would help to create friendship and an identity of community since dog owners do not have to go to other cities to enjoy these kind of parks. Instead, they can be part of an identity and recognize themselves in their own city.
In my opinion I believe that Dogs are better than cats. I want to have people to help dogs and respect dogs more because dogs help people alot.
At first sight, service dogs look like any other dog. They are furry. They walk on all fours. They have a tail. But they have many differences from other dogs. Service dogs are well behaved and are obedient. They wear clothing that no other dog wears such as a vest to make people aware that they are service dogs. Service dogs perform tasks that no other dogs can do, like paying for meals and carrying objects for their owners, sometimes in a vest compartment like a backpack. Service dogs are unlike other dogs because they are trained to do tasks that human beings normally do, but can’t because of some disability. Service dogs help their owners navigate the world they live in by assisting their owners in overcoming day to day obstacles. Because of their assistance to their owners, service dogs help their owners live independently.
Before the revenue brought into the state from these national parks made most of the money for the state as a whole, but considering the visiting rates for all of these parks have significantly lowered, their is no benefit to keeping them anymore. Allowing companies to work on the parks would bring more jobs to the state, and in so bring more money, other than the parks just costing money due to maintenance. An article called “Americans Think National Parks Are Worth Way More than We Spend on Them” by Linda J. Bilems and John Loomis, has priced the national parks in the US at about ninety two billion dollars. Shown here “ Our results showed that Americans put a total value of $92 billion per year on our national parks, monuments, seashores and recreation areas.” (Bilmes and Loomis).
A skatepark is a good thing for the town, but it benefits skateboarders and kids the most. If there are skateboarders in a town, which there most likely is, they need a place to skate. Look around in any town, there is a basketball court for the basketball players, there is a tennis court for tennis players, and there is a baseball field f...
In conclusion, although allowing dogs in the workplace may be beneficial for some workers, it would likely not be beneficial for all and therefore should not be
By providing these spaces, the small town helps those who are underprivileged by empowering them. This would also provide a stronger community bond with the people who live there by bringing folks together who otherwise would not meet. These gardens can be a great tool for the younger generation to help them learn compassion for those less fortunate, tolerance for others, and the value of hard work. By teaching children, that what they do can make a difference for them, but also for others, you cannot go wrong. For the most part community gardens need hard working people to organize people thought the community to get the gardens started. They also need to be able to keep the garden organized from when to plant what food and who will be working in certain areas. The organizer/s will also need to look for help whether it is for monies to obtain supplies, tools for maintenance, or extra labor during a big
“A dog is a man’s best friend” goes much deeper than the phrase might initially imply. Recently many medical journals have begun to identify with the many and varied benefits of pet ownership. Men have always relied upon animals for work, transportation, and survival. As times have changed, man has begun to appreciate a different bond with animals. Gone are the days of animals running free outside around the homestead, for now animals are allowed inside and are considered by many to be an integral part of our daily lives! Medical studies have found that animals have a much greater intelligence level than originally thought. Through proper training and experience, animals are not only household pets, but also are becoming an accepted form of medical treatment.
