Everyone is entitled to have an oppion. Some people like cats when other people like dogs. Myself being a cat and a dog lover I see both sides of each animal. Therefor I believe that building a dog park in Muscatine, Iowa would be benifital to all becuse the dogs will be helthier, it will bring the community together, and dogs would be calmer.
My dogs dont get out much. Mainly because I just dont have time to take them on hour walks. A lot of the time I just wish I could bring them somewhere and let them run around without me. A dog park does exactly that. Dogs, bigger expecially, need a ton of exercize. Even the ASPCA has explained how much exercize can improve their health. When a dog doesn't get the exercize they need, they can rebel against their owners, causing issues in the home for both the owner and the dog. When, if there was a dog park the dogs could go run and play so that issue wouldn't be there. So therfore I believe a dog park would be very benifical.

Rarely ever do you see a kid, and even adults sometimes, walking without a device on them. If there was a dog park built in Muscatine it would help bring the community together. People would be forced to talk to other dog owners and keep their eyes on their dog to make sure everything is okay. The dog park could be a time owners look forward to mainly becuase they can get a break from reality. The dog park wouldnt only be healty for the dogs but for the community as

Good morning everyone and what a pleasure it is to be able to open the Australia Day Film Festival. The two films that have been chosen to open this year’s festival are Bran Nue Dae and the Rabbit Proof Fence. Both of these films offer a unique insight into the experiences and perspectives of indigenous Australians. They reveal adversity faced by aborigines as a result of racism and are a timely reminder of our need to be more inclusive as a nation. These coming of age and culturally inspiring films, Rachel Perkins’s 2009, Bran Nue Dae and Philip Noyces’s 2002, Rabbit Proof Fence have become Australian classics, capturing the dark truth behind Australia’s history. Both directors introduce young indigenous people setting on their journey back home while discovering the harsh reality of being an indigenous person. Rabbit Proof Fence’s Molly, a young indigenous who is forcefully taken away from her home to be housed on mission school, where her sister and cousin will be introduce and educated to become servants for white settlers. Molly, her sister and cousin make a daring escape back home, challenging
Ladies and gentlemen of the Board, thankyou for allowing me to come and discuss with you the important message that is established in the Australian film Red Dog, directed by Kriv Stenders and why Australians should understand red dog, and why the board should display red dog at this year’s film festival.
Specific Purpose: To persuade my audience to help abolish puppy mills by adopting and volunteering. Those no matter how big or small their efforts are, that can make a difference and help cease puppy mills and their perpetuation in our society.
Also, educating parents and grandparents etc, on animal/ children safety could greatly reduce the number of attacks on children. You should never leave a young child unattended with a dog, or any animal for that matter, its just not safe. Children that have been attacked by family dogs that have been around said child its whole life, tend to be the results of the child being left alone with the dog and not properly supervised, not nasty or mean dogs. Any dog could snap and turn on somebody, esp a child who say, doesn’t realize the dog is in pain and jumps on them etc. As long as dogs and childrens interactions are supervised many dangerous situations can be avoided.
GENERAL PURPOSE: To persuade the audience that pit bulls are nice loving dogs. SPECIFIC PURPOSE: To persuade the audience that pit bulls are not naturally dangerous. CENTRAL IDEA: Pit bulls are just like any other dog. It depends on how a pit bull or any other breed of dog is nurtured to determine the characteristics of the dog.
Dogs deserve to run around and be free without a leash holding them back. Dogs deserve to have a chance to go further then what their leash allows them to. Pet dogs should be allowed to have their space where their owners can take them, so they are not in just an empty lot or on the streets possibly causing injury to a nearby resident or themselves. Back in 2013, researchers did a report of owners who left their dogs in shelters, which resulted in 65% of people who say they left their pets in a shelter due to bad behavior. If dog parks were available to residents, there would be less dogs in shelters, fewer bite reports from dogs, and less bad behavior from dogs in general.
...es to all of the other dogs in the world. In a country proud of our diversity and freedoms, we should be granting dogs the same lives. They deserve that diversity in what breeds they are mixed with and the freedom of a life outside of the bars in a shelter. Do your part and give a dog the life it deserves.
Having a dog can be a great experience for people who enjoy their company. These animals are usually friendly and active; they are intelligent and can develop a strong relationship with their owners based in love and care. However, having dogs is a big responsibility for the person who owns it, because they are animals, so they cannot support themselves. Dogs need someone who can feed them, give them love, and someone who can make them exercise. Moreover, these animals need big spaces in order to run and develop their muscles, so the owner has to know that he needs to take a walk with the dog several times a day. Dog parks are a great place to take the dogs because it provides a space where they do not have to be with leash every time, while they can interact with other animals of their specie in a pet-friendly environment. Every city in the country should have at least one of these places, in order to help their inhabitants with their pets and because it is a good part of the life in community.
Attention getter: Lion, tigers, and bears, oh my! When the circus comes rolling into town, many people are excited to go and that is all that is talked about; about the clowns, the trapeze artists, the ring leader, the elephants and all the other marvelous wonders of the circus. But would you all still be excited to go if you knew the truth about the circus and the animal trainers of how they treat the animals? Because in reality, for our spirits to raise at the circus, they break the spirits of all the animals, especially the elephants.
The Pro's and Cons's of Dog Parks It is true, that animals of all kinds need specific routines and ample excersize to remain healthy. This is especially true in canines from my direct experience as a dog owner. While it's true that dog parks are a great way to let your pal get some well needed physical and mental nourishment, there are deffinetly alternatives that may quell the concerns of those whom would oppose such a project. Although most people do not mind a simple bark, the sometimes sharp commands from an owner, or a highened level of traffic.
There is an ongoing debate over whether or not a dog park would serve the community of Muscantine, Iowa well. One side believes that putting up a dog park will allow dogs to excert their energy into playing. They state that this will result in less agressive behavior. However, the other side believes a dog park is a massive waste of tax payer's money, and that dog owners should build a park on their own, far away on private land. they stated that having a dog park will disrupt people in their homes due to the loud barking.
In addition, I understand that people will feel uncomfortable about the "Bring Your Dog to Work program, especially if they are not dog friendly or have a pet themselves. Just like with anything we do in and out the workplace we need to have a study at the workplace and see those that was once against it, just might see how much love and
Amusement parks are by far one of the most thrilling places on earth. As you wait in a long line to get in park, you can hear numerous kids, adults, and tourist shouting off the top of their lungs due to a tremendous jaw-dropping drop on their beloved roller coasters.
You tie your hiking boots into perfectly snug knots and gently stand up, brushing pebbles off of your knee. A deep breath of fresh air fills your lungs as your first step leads into the wilderness. The warm breeze reeks of dirt, nature at its finest. Leaves crunch beneath your powerful feet and stones fling off the trail, scuttling to a slow stop. Thoughts of the office vanish from your mind and Thanksgiving stumbles in.
