Is a bigger penis always better? When most people hear such question they either immediately or eventually think about penis size, and a more direct question that many men and women want to know is, does the size of ones really matter?
The fact is that sometimes the size of the penis matters, sometimes it doesn't. There are those of us that are unique when it comes to our personal tastes (affectionately known as size queens), but others are different. Some people might be happy driving a Tercel one day and an SUV the next day. Another fundamental information when it comes to whether penis size matters is to make sure we can agree on what the average penile size is.

Thus, women who felt penis girth mattered may have different perceptions of what the ideal penis girth is. The assumption may be bigger is better, but this is not confirmed by this study.
Another study by Canadians, had women read erotic passages and evaluate them on the steaminess of passage. The only thing they changed was the size of the penis. Although some respondents did score the big penis to be hotter, the differences were not statistically significant. Indicating that in a fantasy world at least, bigger may not necessarily mean more arousing and size of the penis may not matter as much as other things.
Although there have been other studies that asked women about the importance of penis length and girth, and most report that where this is a preference, girth is reported as more important than length, there doesn't seem to be any academic research that is indeed what the size is preferable. If there were such research we expect, of course, a great variability in size

Most men seem to think that penis size does matter, and many of them worry about the size of their penis at some point in their lives. There have been several studies have confirmed that the perception of men towards the male penis size is skewed:
* An internet survey of 52,031 heterosexual men and women revealed that while 85% of women were satisfied with the size of their partner's penis, but only 55% of men were satisfied with their penis size.
* Several studies have asked men to evaluate the size of their penis, compared to "normal" and then have actually measured their penis size, have shown that most men underestimate the size of their penis, and overestimate what is the average penis size.
* Studies have also shown that men tend to compare penises in a manner that is likely to lead to a negative evaluation (for example, they compare flaccid penis to an erect penis).
* A study of men who were looking for penis enlargement surgery, found that most of the men had penises that were of average size, despite the belief that they had abnormally small penis. It seems that from the research we have, men think about penis size more than women. Which begs the question as to why the guys worry and talk about penis size so
Upping the Ante: Question #1 Over time, popular culture has changed the way that the ideal man is portrayed and has changed what the ideal male body is. In the past, ideal men as portrayed in movies and television were much smaller than they are today. Today, ideal men are portrayed as huge and muscular, signaling their power and aggression. One example of this in Tough Guise 2 is the G.I. Joe doll.
Over the years even action figures have gotten larger muscles, so much so that they are to proportions physically impossible to obtain. Every time you turn the corner, your eyes are drawn to some advertisement that shows a man with his shirt off, muscular and defined. “There is no way to plug popular culture into an equation and see what effect it has on mass psychology, of course, but there is widespread sentiment that these provocative images of buff males have really upped the ant...
The article “Some Psychological Consequences of the Anatomical Distinction between the Sexes” by Sigmund Freud focus on the difference between boys and girls and the consequences and impact the Oedipus complex and Penis envy. Freud studies the consequences and how boy and girls develop and move forward from this phase. It is to say that Freud has a strong point of view about this, and somehow this theory can come as masochism and has been criticizes by many feminist; but I cannot ignore the complexity and how his ideas are proper. But can we used this theories to understand the modernity if the society we live in.

Body image is what you believe about your physical appearance. Images of beautiful men and women are displayed everywhere from billboards to television advertisements. Fortunately, everyone does not look the same. Looking at models and movie stars often can create a negative self image of oneself in relation to these images. Approximately 46 percent of men of normal weight think about how they look constantly or frequently (Cloud, 46). The emergence of men’s new obsession with body image is connected to pressures from the media, plastic surgeons, and peers.
The film Private Dicks (Powers & Spadola, 1999) is a documentary of men discussing their penises while they are naked. They discuss their masturbation history, their penis size, loss of their virginity, and much more. The age range of the men goes from seventeen to seventy, and there is also a large diversity of races. A lot of the men are performers and entertainers, but others are lawyers, attorneys, students, and much more everyday occupations. Not only does occupation vary across the men, but so does sexual orientation. Some of the men identify as heterosexual while the others identify as homosexual or transsexual. This documentary (Powers & Spadola, 1999) takes what is considered a private matter and turns into a public
“Body Image is something both men and women are concerned with” says Luke Lyons. In addition, young girls are more scared of becoming fat than losing a parent. Everyone has a different perspective on body image, based on experience. Body image impacts the world daily for both men and women of all ages. Many things impact the way we look at body image, also. Like, social media showing good and bad sides. Body image is controversial because it can be very beneficial for some people, but also can be very harmful.
People react differently depending on their own traits. Studies have shown that women identify the media as the major source of the perceived social pressure to maintain a thin body image. Male body image suffers as well. When men are exposed to unrealistic male bodies, they can suffer from the same symptoms as females. People should not let the media negatively influence their bodies. The public needs to view the media for what it’s worth…pure entertainment. Media’s depiction of a “normal” body type portrays a standard of beauty that is unattainable. Both women and men are suffering from trying to reach these unattainable goals and are suffering from low self-esteem, depression and eating disorders. This is a huge epidemic and hopefully one day it will change. The media needs to promote healthy lifestyles and show men and women of all shapes and sizes that they can feel good about themselves. The “real size” people in the world, will then be able to stop feeling pressured by the media to obtain a certain standard body

Studies of body image in the past have gained varying results as to the groups that are affected, as well as the amount of impact body image has with these groups. There has also been much debate over the validity of methods used to judge body image, and how well the measurements used actually correlate participants’ actual views of body image (Cash, Morrow, Hrabosky, & Perry 2004). Some factors that have led to this discrepancy in answers are questions that were framed to be more suitable to attain the attitudes of one gender over another. The initial studies of body image focused upon simply body shape which seemed to be more important to women, whereas body image affects were seen for men when questions of muscle definition were included into the questionnaire process (Ridgeway, & Tylka, 2005).
Men and women are very different, especially when it comes to sexuality. They have different feelings and emotions. Gender role expectations influence a huge impact on our sexuality. Gender roles refer to how a person behaves as male or female, we close to masculine or femine, which are chararestics that yourself or other notice. Boys and girls have always been treated differently. Males are treated more as the tough one, with no emotions, and females as the one’s whoe were emotional and needed to more attention.
If the men want sex, she cannot say no to him. Women cannot express their sexuality openly like a man can. I also think that the clitoris is seen as inferior to the penis. Women are there so that men can gain sexual desire from them.
