Diversity Has Influenced Me

My community that I’ve grown up in has influenced me in many ways. Over the years that I have lived here, I have observed things that are interesting to me. A key thing that has really stuck out to me was the change in minorities and the growth of natural diversity. Diversity is also in fact a key piece that has influenced me today. Some examples: diversity has influenced me to be more comfortable around other races such as Asian or Indian, or black. Everything that would question me is being explained as I live in this community. Without evening knowing about it, my curiosity has decreased when I come to questions that would be hard to answer. Even the things that I don’t enjoy as much. I always think to myself that whatever I don’t like, somebody else would enjoy it ten times more than I would. The homeless also are in a way results that could happen to me. If something were to financially go wrong, I could end up like one of them on the streets. Furthermore, the last thing to influence me is the natural civilization. Growing up in a normal neighborhood, the people and the houses really impact me. I have neighbors that include two young children and two warming parents. Every time I pass them, I always think: I was just like that kid, one day he will grow up to be just like me. Automatically, when I go to a school like a town school for boys, people think I’m rich. This is not the answer. Just because you attend a prestigious school such as town, doesn’t mean you enter the status of the upper class. People are not always what you like about them, they usually aren’t. Living in the neighborhood that I live in, people are often surprised on how I attend Town. Social status is not something that should be used as a stereotype, even what you wear shouldn’t be used to describe your social status.
