For my 12th birthday I went to Disneyworld\Animal Kingdom in Orlando, Florida. My father, mother' younger sister, brother, and I went. First, we drove about 25 hours to Miami to stay there for the weekend. On Sunday, we drove 3 hours to Orlando. Our hotel was huge! Thankfully it was only a few minutes away from Disney. The hotel room(s) we were staying in only had two bedrooms, one for my parents, and then one with two beds for my brother and sister. Therefore I got my own hotel room that was (in a way) attached to theirs. The first thing that we all did was put everything away and take in how amazing the hotel is. We got a tour from one of the staff members, there was golfing, a lake, and a bunch pools, there was probably more that we didn't

In my opinion Walt Disney is arguably the greatest children’s company on the planet. The mere mention of the company’s name can inspire the imagination of millions of children to dream amazing things. Disney in general has created more of a culture. It has impacted people’s lives for many generations. Because of this culture, Disneyland has been successful no matter how expensive the park is or the products they sell in retail. They have found a way to impact peoples lives no matter what age you are or what culture you're from. The company has continues to grow and profits have become even greater than Walt Disney himself ever thought it would be. Fiscal year 2016 was the sixth consecutive year of record results, highlighted by the opening
The Walt Disney Company hires a certain type of cast member based off of many specific traits they attain. “Disney Recruitment looks to hire attractive people with an encouraging personality and a fixed smile” (Koenig 59). Cast members must have a high IQ and must be content with working nights, weekends, summers, and holidays. In order to be hired as a character performer, potential employees have to be young and outgoing (60). People hired to portray characters also have to be a certain height and weight to fit into the pre-existing costumes because Disney does not want to spend money to have new ones made when they do not believe they have to.
Intro: “The only way to do great work is to love what you do.” – Steve Jobs. This has a lot do with how Walt Disney had a incredible work ethic. He was a hard worker, but sometimes worked a little too hard. He was known to live at his studio more than he did at home (Baker, 2017).
