I never thought I would go to Georgia and Florida. This vacation brought me many new adventures. I was nervous about many things, but I knew that everything was going to turn out right. This vacation built old relationships to new and better relationships. “How would you like it if we went to go visit Jared and Lindsey in Georgia? Would you be interested in going to Disney World and SeaWorld?” asked my mom one weekend in June. “I would love that so much Mom! Are we going? Are we going?” I asked excitedly. “Yes we are honey,” she said. When my mom told me that we were going to Georgia to see my aunt and uncle, I was beyond excited. I was very surprised when my mom asked me since I was only thirteen at the time, and I never had gone on …show more content…
It was very nice outside, so we went on many walks and played outside. There was one day when it stormed pretty much the whole day, so we just watched movies that day. Lindsey and my mom went into town when it was raining, and Lindsey rolled into the ditch. Thankfully, they were both okay. On the fourth day of being there which was Thursday, we decided to go to Disney World. I was very excited when my mom told me that morning. We all packed up in the same car, and headed towards Disney World. It was another long drive, so Kendyll and I tried to keep each other entertained. When we got there, there were already a lot of people there. We parked the car and headed toward the entrance. Kendyll and I really didn’t want to go see all the Disney characters, so Mom and Lindsey bought us tickets to go on the rides. Jared and my mom took us on the rides while Lindsey took the other two kids to see the Disney characters. After awhile, we all met up together to have lunch. After lunch, we all just stayed together. All we really did was walk around Disney World and look at all the characters. Once Anyka and Reidyn got tired, we thought we should probably head back to Jared and Lindsey’s house. We were all tired when we go their house, so we had super and went to
What comes to mind when you hear the word adventure!!? Well there is a place in Florida that is guaranteed to bring out your inner kid every time you visit. This place is known as universal Orlando Florida. This is a place where you can go on vacation and have fun like never before as you did when you were a kid. On my visit to Orlando I stated at a four-star resort located inside the theme park known as Cabana Bay Beach Resort, also went to universal studios and islands of adventure were I felt like I was a kid again.
In 2009, my parents and I decided to travel to San Antonio, Texas for vacation. My parents and I have traveled there before, but we enjoyed it so much that we decided to go back. With many places to see and do; my parents thought that we should go to Six Flags Fiesta Texas. It was at this theme park, where something happened that I would never forget.
The day my grandparents told me they wanted to go to the Florida Keys and asked if I would like to join. So of course I wanted to go. Oh and when they told me i could bring a friend along i was jumping with happiness inside. They told me we would be going for a couple weeks and they had all expenses covered. So that day I started talking to Jamie and asking her when she would be back, because at that time she was in Florida visiting family.
Walt Disney has brought two theme parks to life because of his imagination. He never stopped chasing his dreams, even if they seemed impossible. Walt Disney World came after Disneyland and it is located in Florida. Disney World is known to be the "most magical place on earth" and the place "where dreams come true". Many people haven't been to the park, so they might be skeptical of the "magic" that is held within. Walt Disney World is the "most magical place on earth" because of the rides, characters, shows, the electrical parade, Wishes Nighttime Spectacular, and the infinitely growing attractions.
My mom had been going to school in Greeley and staying at my Aunt Margaret's house . She had been away for two weeks and wanted to come home for the Fourth of July weekend. My mom had suggested that I go back with her and visit colleges, shop, go to movies and just spend time together. I had been feeling pretty sorry for myself since she had been gone. I had been working alot as a maid and helping my dad run the house, I was getting very irritated with my siblings as I felt that I was the only family member doing my part to help my dad. I was really excited to have a week with my mom to myself. The whole ride over we were talking about what I wanted to do that week. Making plans and having "me time" seemed very important at the time.
Although we started to live with our new family June 4, 2004, we officially got adopted on February 18, 2005. This family was very ice and made us feel like we were at home. We were sad that we could not stay with the other family we did enjoy this family too. The first summer we lived with them we went to Disney world ,which was a lot of fun. I remember being super scared on a ride that was like the power tower but it was dark, and being 6 I was scared out of my mind.
Everything seemed to be going smoothly that morning. Dad loaded the luggage and packed the cooler. He even packed the extra pillows. My family was very happy as we prepared for our trip. I was twelve years old and my brother, Jobie, was ten. My dad had told us for years about his first trip to Disney Land in California when he was a young Marine.
When I was a kid my life consisted of a lot of wishful thinking. Typically I would ignore reality and let my imagination take over. For me cardboard boxes transformed into a heavy, fully armed, high flying Boeing B-17 Flying Fortress. I can remember every spring when the days would start to get warm, my family would have a truck full of mulch dumped into the driveway to be laid. To me, this pile was an archaeologist's digging site filled with fossils and ancient relics. The brown pile was a tall mountain who’s peak pierced the wispy clouds of the Great Plains. The reason I am telling you this is because sometimes when you are little reality hurts and this is my story of how I came to terms with this fact.
I answered. So we went to go ride pirates of the caribbean when that was my favorite ride at the time and it still is one of my favorite rides of all time. I also rode other rides such as Dumbo the Flying Elephant and Soarin where it takes you on a virtual hang gliding trip across California and I loved that ride. After all those fun rides my family took a lunch break and we ate at the restaurant in the mexican section of epcot and they have really good mexican food.
Walt Disney once said, “Laughter is timeless, imagination has no age, and dreams are forever.” That quote is especially true when visiting Walt Disney World. In 2012, my mom, my sister Allison, my brother Ian, and myself traveled to Disney World for my fourteenth birthday. My sister had previously been employed in the Disney Parks, and had attained free tickets for her work there. For almost two weeks, we stayed in what’s said to be the happiest place on Earth, spending all of our time in the four parks: Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom, Hollywood Studios, and last but not least Epcot.
So, we went to Disney World to celebrate! To those that have never been to Disney, let me tell you this: it's not just for kids! My family has been going to Disney World every year for the past three years now. My children and I love it. My husband pretends he doesn't enjoy it, but I know secretly he really does.
My family and I have been to Disney World many times, but on one of these trips, I invited my best friend to go with us, giving me the opportunity to experience Walt Disney World (WDW) with my best friend, who was experiencing Disney for her first time. Just arriving in the WDW complex, you realize that you are in a magical place. Mickey Mouse and other Disney sites great you along the Disney roads that get you to Main Parking and the Transportation-Ticket Center. From there, taking the ferry boat across the Seven Seas Lagoon, having the wind in your hair, the excitement of waiting for the ferry to dock, and taking your first steps into the happiest place on earth is a feeling that no one can ever take from you. After scanning our tickets and passing through the entrance gate, we walked under the train track, through a tunnel, and just watching my friends face build up with anticipation, that's the most exciting part. Opening upon the magical vista and Disney icon, Cinderella's Castle. Once we reached the inside of Magic Kingdom, we transitioned onto main street, meandering down the street, viewing and absorbing the magic of all the storefronts, such as The Emporium (the largest souvenir shop in the park), The Confectioner (the best candy store ever!), a coffee shop, the ice cream shop, and many more shops, including a blown glass shop, where an
I woke up in my hotel room at Disney World, The Art of Animation Resort, eyes weak fighting myself to keep them open. I looked at the screen of my phone, the bright screen stung my eyes as if they had just been set ablaze. My parents had gone to the lobby to get breakfast and my sister was silently watching t.v. We had only three days left of the trip and I felt ecstatic because it was our first day going into the park. The thought of going to Disney World made me feel as though life was perfect and nothing would change that.
When I was a young child I would love to hear my parents tell me that we were going on a trip. I would be full of excitement, because I knew that we would be going to a place that I had never seen before. My parents, my brother, and I would pack our luggage and venture out in our small gray minivan. Three of my most cherished memories in our minivan are when we went to Disney World, the beach, and the mountains.
Harry Potter World. As a kid Harry Potter was about as real for me as something can possibly be inside one’s head. Seeing the parts of the books come to life was incredible. It made me feel like I was a character in one of the books. The major attraction at Harry Potter World is the tour of the castle of Hogwarts, which I had been envisioning in my head from the first book of the series. The line for the castle stretched farther than I could see, and didn’t seem to be moving anywhere fast. My dad asked an employee around how long the wait would be and his response was “around 3 hours.” I knew almost immediately I wasn’t going to be taking the tour of the castle. I couldn’t be upset with my parents as they offered to wait in the line with me but I still became irritable and may have even made the day less enjoyable for my
