In 2008, my family went on a Disney Cruise. It was a very exciting trip except for when someone got hurt. The cruise ship was huge. It had lots of shops and restaurants. The view from our deck was astonishing! On the trip, we went snorkeling in Mexico. I was too apprehensive so I got to stay on a raft. After a while, I saw my sister in tears and she said she got stung by a jellyfish. There were lots of them. The majority of the jellyfish were small other ones were bigger. A few other people got stung too so everyone had to come back to the boat (I’m so glad I wasn’t in the water at the time.) Once we got back to the Gulf of Mexico on the second day, my family got to swim with the dolphins! It was amazing! Before we got in
As I opened my eyes, I saw a giant cruise ship in front of my eyes.It took two whole days but we finally reached Florida where we went Rock Gliding. It’s where you have to get past a giant, rocky maze. The winner gets to cans of ice cream.Though my sister won,we all shared the ice cream.Next stop, the Bahamas!!!In the bahamas we went parasailing up 700 ft above water level,it was so much fun.The boat driver even let us touch the smooth, light blue water with our feet. Finally, we ended with a relaxing dolphin swim on the soft, delicate beach of Jamaica.
Disney world, Paris, Australia, Italy; all amazing places I’m sure, but I’ve never been. Although there is one place I have been to; it was none other than Blackpool Pleasure Beach!
Out of all the trips I have taken, Cancun was definitely the best. It was 2013 and I was in fifth grade. I had known about the trip for weeks and I was so amped up for the plane ride, for the hotel, and especially the ocean. I was in science and the teacher was getting mad because I was distracting all the kids by jittering all over the place. Finally I heard my name called over the intercom and I leaped for joy and ran out of the classroom. From school we drove to the Iowa Airport, got our tickets and loaded onto the plane. Our first plane took us to Chicago, Illinois where we boarded a plane , at the O’Hare International Airport, departing for Cancun,Mexico. The second plane was very lengthy, I tried to sleep but I didn’t actually fall asleep
We started to touch them and the starfish had such a unique texture. Afterwards, we washed our hands and headed outside and joined a line that was heading into a big, blue tent. We went inside and we were both surprised and excited to see tons of different-looking and sized stingrays swimming graciously throughout the pool. Everybody leaned over and reached their hand in the water, hoping that their hand would touch a back of a stingray. At first, I was scared to put my hand in the water because I didn’t want to accidentally touch the tail of the stingray even though they removed the barbs so they couldn’t sting you. Kristen didn’t have any trouble touching them, but for me on the other hand, it took a little longer. Kristen really wanted me to touch one so she grabbed my hand and slowly put it into the water. Having my sister there with me made me feel a lot less scared. We saw a small stingray heading our way, so Kristen lowered my hand and then my hand touched the back of the stingray. I was surprised of how smooth it was. It was as smooth as a fleece blanket. I was really happy at the end that Kristen encouraged me to touch one. After that I was able to touch a few more, except there was a big black covered sting ray with white spots that was probably five times bigger than the rest of them, that I was scared to touch and so was Kristen. We exited the tent and got our picture taken with the view of the city and Lake Michigan.
Almost all American families take a vacation. Whether it be only a few hours down the interstate or to the other side of the country, families like taking trips together. From camping in the mountains to fishing in the Caribbean, every family has a “spot” that they go to make memories and enjoy each other’s company. For my family, there is always one place we will visit every year, almost like a pilgrimage. That place is Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida, my favorite place in the world.
The final thing we decided to do was go to my mom's friend from Turkey, and while we were there we learned about The Kennedy Space Center, so we decided to go there. Going to Florida for spring break was one of the best moments of my life. Once we arrived in Orlando, Fl we stayed at a very big and nice campground. Once we went to check in there was a little booth with pamphlets for Disney World, so we went over there to ask about it.
The veteran Wooster police officer likes to head south for vacations, and he eyes two destinations: St. Augustine, Fla., and the Caribbean.
I believe it was close to my birthday when it happened. Our dad bought us all tickets to Disney Land, which is basically just a smaller version of Disney World(much smaller). We went, and it was amazing! We went to all the major attractions; some of which include the Toy Story Mania ride, Cars Land, and even the Hollywood Tower of Terror(Never again). I even got to see Grizzly Peak for the first time; that was pretty interesting.
What a better vacation than a cruise? Before we start traveling in our sea of imagination, let’s get something straight. There are different types of cruises. There are many cool destinations
...mazingly) and we watched the engines start up, with water whirling everywhere below the surface. I ran to the front of the boat to look down into the water and I kept noticing all these little white puffs everywhere. From where I was, they kind of looked like plastic bags floating through the water. I called Kristi and my dad over to see them. As we were watching, these poofy little balls kept appearing out of nowhere, there must have been hundreds. Finally, a really big one floated its way into our line of vision and from the eighth deck we were able to see what they were. Jellyfish! Cute little iridescent balls of cotton.
I felt something slither between my toes, which made me squeamish at first but I realized it was just seaweed. The beach in Hawaii was an amazing experience, that I often recall and long to return
My most memorable family vacation took place two years ago. We went to Corsica, a French island situated in the south of France right next to Italy. I remembered waking up early excited to visit this new land. Used to take long flights, I was surprised to arrive to the destination after a one-hour flight. Even though the flight was short for me, it was stressful for my mom, she has never felt secured in a plane, probably due to the fact that she is afraid of height. When finally arrived at the destination, the dry and warm weather was there to welcome us. We all felt relief, and knew that this was the beginning of the summer. Excited, we had a lot of activities planned for the few weeks, me and my father could not wait to dive in the clear
I was able to spend a lot of time with my family, our friends, and play all sorts of games. This experience made me start to like traveling. Every time I would get the chance to travel, I will take that chance. We were able to go to a theme park, eat many delicious foods, and play many video
Throughout someone’s life they will go to many places with their family, friends, another relatives. I have been on a few vacations that have made a lasting impact on my life. But one of the most memorable vacations I have experienced was with my cousins. I went to goa beach. Most of you probably don’t know about that beach but it is a very famous one in south India. I enjoyed myself to the fullest. The beach environment was enlightening. I would not have wanted to take this trip with anyone other than my cousins. We had a great time on the ocean sands and swimming in the ocean everyday made this vacation unforgettable.
