I found two main conflicts in Wildwood: Imperium. The first main conflict is character vs. nature. Prue is trying to take over the Dowager Governess control from the ivy. She is fighting against her because if the Governess won she would take over all of the Woods and the Outside. Prue does end up being able to control the ivy, but not without a cost. She puts it into the Council Tree, where she then dies atop of the tree because she drained all her energy. The second conflict I found was character vs. self. Prue is fighting with herself about being able to unite the two makers of the Mobius Cog. She’s afraid that she wasn’t meant for this job and that innocent people have died for a hopeless cause. Prue thinks that she can’t save the people

Firstly let us consider conflict. In each act of the play, we see the overpowering desire to belong leading to a climax of conflict amongst the characters, which has the consequence of exclusion. Conflict is a successful literary technique, as it engages the audience and focuses our attention on the issue of conflict and exclusion, brought about by the characters’ desires to be accepted by their community.

The movie Easy A is certainly iconic in countless different ways. First, the hit film gave one of the Hollywood’s well known movie stars, Emma Stone, her stardom. Second, although the movie is certainly controversial due to the sexual context, it has some valuable life lessons. I will be discussing three major conflicts that occur in the movie that include the spread of rumors, the consequences of lying and how exonerating the truth isn’t always simple.

...ave begged for her son and grandchildren life instead of trying save her life. The type of literary element shown here is conflict. The type of conflict that is shown is man versus man because the grandmother is constantly trying to convince someone in doing something else. It also shows conflict because the grandmother was begging for her life, but at the end that did not work because she ended up getting killed either way.
When two people disagree, or when their thoughts and behaviors are different, they have conflict. Conflict can be good and it can be bad. It is good when conflict motivates people to think, grow or do things another way. In healthy relationships, there is no fear when conflicts happen. For those raised in violent homes where a person is out to “win,” rather than resolve their differences through talking and compromise, the conflict can move from a disagreement to abuse or violence. In that case, counseling can be of help (“Domestic Conflict”). Oscar Pistorius is a very famous blade runner in South Africa who murdered his girlfriend in the early morning of Valentines Day. The famous blade runner pleaded not guilty for the murder of his girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp, claiming that he mistaken her with an intruder and it was not a premeditated murder (Curnow). Oscar Pistorius story is similar to the story “ A Jury of Her Peers ” because Minnie Wright is also accused of murdering her husband while he was asleep. Minnie Wright just like Oscar denied the murder of her husband. Even though they used an entirely different approach, both Minnie Wright, in Susan Glaspell’s “A Jury of Her Peers” and Oscar Pistorius, the South African sprint blade runner, were both in a domestic conflict and committed a crime by murdering their partners.
2. The main conflict of this story is a result of the family's financial status. Father's greed, low income, and Pyotr's frustration are key points to the main conflict. The conflict has plagued Pyotr most, the hallucination of abandoning his family is the main conflict in the story.

Conflict first arises when Blanche arrives at the Kowalski household and Stanley's authority over his home is questioned. Stanley has always had authority and control of his home and also his wife Stella. When Blanche arrives he feels that he is being invaded and doesn't agree with it. His "rat race" style of life doesn't match with Blanches but has somehow converted Stella. One of the main themes about conflict is that Stanley and Blanche are in a battle to win Stella and neither of them will give her up.
