The Armenian genocide ruins Vahan Kenderian’s picture-perfect life. Vahan is the son of the richest Armenian in Turkey and before the war begins, he always has food in his belly and a roof over his head in the book Forgotten Fire by Adam Bagdasarian. Life is absolutely quintessential for Vahan, until the war starts in 1915, when he endures many deaths of his family, losses of his friends, and frightening experiences in a short amount of time. He is a prisoner of war early in the book and is starved for days. As he goes through life, he is very unlucky and experiences other deaths, not just the deaths of his family. Vahan ultimately becomes the man his family would want him to be.

In the case, “Facing a Fire” prepared by Ann Buchholtz, there are several problems and issues to identify in determining if Herman Singer should rebuild the factory due to a fire or retire on his insurance proceeds. I believe that this case is about social reform and self-interest. I think that Singer needs to ask himself, what is in the firm’s best economic interests. There are several things to question within this case, what should Herman Singer do and why, should he rebuild the factory or begin retirement, if he rebuilds, should he relocate the firm to an area where wages are lower and what provisions, if any, should Singer make for his employees as well as for the community?

Although many people have passed the background check and have and so completely the safety test, many people are able to hide the true intentions of wanting a firearm. Hunting and safety can be the main ideas for purchasing firearms, but people can buy firearms to just shoot random targets at an outside site which may be very dangerous if one does not know what may be beyond the target point. In a handbook called “Firearm Safety Certificate” by the Bureau of Firearms, it is quoted, “Be aware that if the bullet misses or completely passes through the target, it could strike a person or object.” When one is in doubt, one is not to shoot and is to observe and consider what may happen. Not only can they shoot out just for fun, but for celebration as well. On a website called “Nola” it is stated, “In Kenner on New Year 's Day, a man who apparently fired his gun in celebration, fired a shot that bounced off a metal pole and struck struck a woman in the stomach.” Many people in the past have been hurt by stray bullets which have been fired upon celebration or for fun, but as time progressed, people were forced more to obey the laws with new technology that is able to enforce safety precautions. With many accidental shootings that wounded and has killed people, rules have become stricter and laws as in “S. 150” which may be referred as “Assault Weapons Ban of 2013” have been passed to ban certain guns on the market and lower the availability of modifications on
Assault weapons have been labeled as the number one source for mass killings in America. The idea that a weapon can fire a large amount of bullets at a remarkable speed can be used for recreational use was thought of otherwise. This type of weaponry was made for one reason and that is to eliminate as many people as possible and accomplish it in a reasonably fast time. The problem is everywhere and to help control the issue the Brady Campaign to Prevent Gun Violence is the nation’s largest organization dedicated to enacting and enforcing gun...
In response to specific questions about suicide, pro-gun advocates argued that attentive parenting, not restricted access to guns, is the appropriate response. Accidental shootings, which constitute the third category of youth gun deaths, are the one type of child gun violence that pro-gun advocates uniformly say relates to access. Although these advocates generally believe that the number of accidental deaths is too small to warrant substantial attention, they do support targeted educational programs aimed at reducing this category of deaths. It’s a brisk November morning like any other day, but today isn’t any other day, today is the first day of firearm deer season. Shots are going off everywhere like world war three declared on deer. I’m wrapped in every hunting garment I own but winters cold embrace always finds its way in. My cheeks are rosy red and my breath was thick in the air. As I raise my shotgun and pull the trigger, my heart races and my hands shake. As I race after my prize, the sounds of leaves crunching beneath my feet are muffled by the ringing in my ears. I’m walking face to the ground like a hound on a trail and then my eyes caught it, my very first whitetail. I will never forget my first deer and the joy I felt sharing it with my family. Hunting is a passed down tradition for my family and friends. Throughout the world, millions of people participate in the spoils and adventure of the hunt. Hunting has been a pastime since the beginning of man. Hunting is one of those things either you like or you don’t like. It’s hard to explain the joys of hunting ,because it’s something one must experience for his self. Hunting does have laws and regulations you have to abide by. Are hunting regulations benefiting the hunter or the animal? This paper will discuss some of the regulations and laws, types of game, disadvantages of regulations, the pros of regulations, poachers, and ways to preserve wildlife and there habitat.

Hunting is a prime pastime for millions of Americans. Being able to own a gun and to hunt animals on land that you own is an immeasurable blessing and privilege. With this privilege comes great responsibility which includes following the laws that have been put in place concerning hunting, such as not hunting without a permit, using the correct techniques when hunting specific animals, and knowing what weapons are legal to hunt the specific animal with. There are many different animals to hunt, and the techniques to hunt them are easily managed.
Gun safety is a subject that has been a main topic in the past few years among many, especially within politics. It is something that has become a substantial topic in the past few years due to many shootings and accidents that have occurred with today’s youth. It is a topic that needs to be addressed.
