Fast food use to be something people would treat themselves to on occasions. Nowadays it is a daily meal for people who make it their main source of nutrition which fast foods are generally unhealthy and unfit for humans. Fast food is viewed differently by different consumers. Some view fast food as they are unable to prepare proper foods at their houses so they resort to something quick and easy. Then there are the people that dread these kinds of foods, because of the health effects. It may taste good but it is not good for our health.
Considering the name, “fast food” meals that you can buy at any chain of this type of restaurant is typically served quickly compared to sit down restaurants. Making this food convent to many people that are on the go and are limited on time, there is no waiting time as the food is prepared within minutes. When ordering food all of the food is placed into meal options so all you have to do is pick a menu number, making ordering your food even easier and quicker. Convenience is what drives families to drive through. Fast-food hours accommodate odd shifts and offer playrooms to the children which give moms and dads a break. They have widened their variety and have even expanded to healthier options on their menu which accommodates more people. It use to seem like the only options were greasy burgers, fries and fried chicken. Most of which are peoples favorites and one of the main reasons to going and getting fast food. Most of the fast food restaurants are now expanding to healthier options such as salads, grilled chicken, and more vegetables. Many people regardless of the convenience they will skip out on a meal before eating something so unhealthy but with new menu items more and more people are eating out at fast food
