Abortion is the ending of pregnancy before the fetus can live independently outside the mothers womb. Pregnant mothers who use abortion, use abortion as an option because they have the fear that their family will judge them by their mistakes. () 50% of U.S. women having abortions are younger than 25. Women between the age of 20-24 have 33% of all U.S abortions. There are 17% of teenagers having abortions. Abortion to a minor is easier to persuade to, because a minor has no idea what will happen. They have their whole life ahead of them and their future my just be starting. Along with minors, adults use abortions as an early choice. Girls who become pregnant use abortion as an easy way out. The different types of abortion all lead to death. That means murder; a baby/fetus is killed. A baby heart forms and starts beating in the fifth week of pregnancy; therefore, that would make abortion murder. The baby that is growing inside of the woman is depending on her, so when she makes the choice to end that baby's life, they are making the choice to murder another person.Every day, minors, adults, and even married couples make the wrong decision by using abortion. The quick decision of abortion blinds the eye of the mother. They seem to ignore the fact that the baby in them will be killed.
Minors who choose the option of an abortion have the decision on whether their parents approval. In many states a minor can have an abortion without the approval, but in other states there are certain age limits. Having a parent approval makes a difference in a situation like this. The approval of a parent can help the teenager or minor understand what can happen in an abortion procedure and they also know what the medical history for their child is l...

...is almost fully developed. It feels the connection with its mother and it understands what going on in his or hers surroundings. The baby knows what food he or she likes and they understand and know who their mother is. They can hear and feel everything. During partial form abortion the doctor grab the baby’s leg with the forceps, and pulls the baby body out of the birthing canal. Everything is out except for the baby’s head. The doctor then takes scissors and jams them into the baby’s head. The scissors are then opened to make the hole bigger and they take a vacuum and suck the brains out, resulting in the skull collapsing. The dead baby is then removed out of the womb completely. In this type of abortion the minor must tell their parents what is happening.
Complications in all of these abortions happen all the time. The mother can be in danger and can be killed.
How can a child make the decision for the life of another child by themselves? In this paper I will outline the mental, physical, and safety issues of minors (age 18 and under) having an abortion and why it is so important that they need to get parental consent before making this life long decision.
Underage people are prohibiting smoking, drinking, or going in field trips without their parents’ permission. Therefore, how can a teenage girl have an abortion without the approval of her parents? Abortion itself is a controversial subject, and underage abortion is even more controversial. Minors should not have an abortion without the consent of their parents or their legal guardians for a variety of reasons.
An issue that has flared up in today’s society, abortion is a highly debated topic that has sparked some of the most violent discussions. The rapid growth in teenage pregnancy has only increased the amount of attention that has been drawn to abortion and whether it is ethical or not. While some say that a woman is in power of her own body and can make choices based on her best interest, some take much offense to that and demand that a baby is a baby no matter how small it is and that abortion is never okay. It is important to know going into this debate that to argue one side, one would have to be 100% consistent with that decision because of all of the grey areas that come up regarding abortion. With that being said, I still believe that a mother should take responsibility of the situation and recognize that, even though it is minuscule, a baby is a person the moment it begins to develop inside of her.
In the article Abortion As a Blessing, Grace, or Gift-A Renewed Conversation about Reproductive Rights by Valerie Trico, the author discussed different arguments pro-life advocates say about abortion. The author cites “Abortion is immoral. God hates abortion”. According to Tarico, is more immoral and irresponsible to bring a child into the world under “bad circumstances” such rape, teen pregnancies and unwanted pregnancies, where possibilities of success in life would be limited. According to the author abortion is a “sacred gift or blessing” that enables women to choose when to bring a child into this world, which at the same time will help their children to “flourish”. Tarico says that Planned Parenthood is a very important step that could prevent as much as “half of abortions in the future”. Tarico concludes that babies have the “right to be truly loved and wanted” and that parents should bring them into this world “when they’re fully ready to welcome them with open arms. In my opinion the author is right in pointing out that unplanned
Babies die every day from the choice of an abortion. People use abortion as an option because they have the fear that their family and friends will judge them by their mistakes. Minors are usually the ones who use abortion as their first choice, they try to get out of major consequences. Along with minors, adults use abortion as an early choice also. People believe abortion is an easy way out, but what they should know is that it is nothing but murder. Every day minors, adults, students, and even parents make the wrong decision with using abortion. They don’t see how much it affects not only the fetus but also the mother. We all make mistakes and because of a choice that was thought logically incorrect, a child could be in danger and have the opportunity to live their life taken away from them. Abortion hurts young fetus, but also it hurts the sentimental feelings of the adult. Every person has feelings, even an adult, when someone has an abortion they feel the pain in their heart along with their body. It is the quick decision of an abortion that leads to life struggles and depression in the future.

Many people have their own opinions on abortion, that a fetus is a human being with a right to live so abortion is similar to murder. While other groups argue that a woman has certain rights, especially the choice whether to bring another life into the world. The groups that are for it think that abortion gives women the control over their own bodies, which it is their choice when and whether to have children or giving an option to choose to bring or not to bring a child with abnormalities to the world. Some children are born with severe disorders and some parents, being unable to care for their disabled child seek abortion as their one and only option because taking care of a child, especially born with abnormalities is tough work to do as a parent, so they decide whether bring a life into the world. They look ahead on what is best for them, and it is selfish. Or even having in mind that some do not want to become a single parent taking up two roles; a mother and father and they feel like every child should come into the world feeling wanted, loved and cared for. Another reason some women have an abortion is because they do not want to stop work or schooling, and these reasons are consistent across many countries, including America. Other reasons are because of societal pressures, women get little to no social support. But
Women would often die days later after having an abortion done at a clinic due to improper procedures performed in the abortion process ( Agresti, N.P). In a clinic abortion, the most common type of abortion performed during the first trimester of the pregnancy is called an “aspiration abortion” (In-Clinic Abortion Procedures at a Glance, N.P). During this procedure, the fetus’s heart needs to stop and would be done by an injection. Afterwards, the fetus is removed through the cervix with a vacuum and the rest is scraped with a curette. This can be unruly to witness as the tissues are discarded afterwards. In addition to aborting the child, the woman would have feelings of regret and they have the tendency to commit suicide more than a woman if she was suffering from post-mortem depression. The court case of “Roe vs Wade” legalizes abortion allowing more rights for the women but pro-life supporters argue that it counters the argument that all living things have their natural right protected. This right does not extend to the fetus and that is what pro-life supporters want to change. Abortion should not be legal as it violates the natural right of the unborn, can be considered murder and meddles with the morals and values of
Abortion is a common practice that may be performed for several reasons, all sharing the same end result, the termination of an unwanted pregnancy. In cases such as rape, incest or a simple lack of responsibility when having sex, having an abortion is a choice that some women may encounter. There are different types of abortion in today’s society. Some which are too scary to even dream of. There are two types of abortions: Spontaneous abortions; miscarriages and Induced, this is the deliberate termination of the fetus.
Some people view it as murder while others see it as an alternate way of birth control. A popular debate in today’s society concerns whether abortion is the termination of the life of a fetus, or rather a way to terminate a pregnancy. Abortion is a voluntary medical procedure in which the embryo or fetus is removed from the uterus to terminate a pregnancy. The thought of abortion has gotten very popular among young adults over the last few decades and have caused many different opinions to rise, this seems to be caused by the evolution of technology in science making abortion cheaper and much safer. However, in the 1800s this was not the case, abortion was banned in Canada, as a result, illegal operations were popular, and in some cases death
Abortion is the termination of a pregnancy by destruction of a fertilized egg, embryo or fetus before birth, prior to the time when the fetus attains viability, or capacity for life outside the uterus (Encyclopedia, 1995, p.43). Currently almost twenty-five percent of pregnancies in the United States are aborted. About one forth of people who abort are teenagers, fifty-seven percent are younger than 25, and almost eighty percent are unmarried. During the first trimester is when most of the abortions take place. Only about ten percent are performed later in the pregnancy (Slife, 1998, p.329). Abortions go back as far as Ancient Greece where it was used as a type of population control. Then in the Roman Times men had total control over the procedure. “Man could give law-enforced command that his wife have an abortion, or he could punish or divorce his wife for having one without his consent” (Encyclopedia, 1995, p.43).
Abortion is the deliberate termination of a human pregnancy most often performed during the first 28 weeks of pregnancy. They both share the same meaning as well, which is the process of not getting pregnant. Let’s starts of with contraception. There are tons of methods to prevent pregnancy to choose from. Choosing not to have sex, birth control pills, birth control shot, birth control patch, birth control implant, vasectomy, IUD, vaginal ring, cervical caps, male condom, female condom, contraceptive pill, contraceptive foam, contraceptive implant, contraceptive sponge, contraceptive suppositories, diaphragm, emergency contraception, fertility awareness method, injectable contraception, intrauterine contraception, the shield, and the withdrawal method. All of these methods may be 99% positive to preventing a pregnancy from happening, but there is always a 1% chance that a pregnancy can happen. Some various methods of contraception, such as diaphragms, condoms and induced abortion have existed for 100’s of years. Despite the wide availability of contraception, unwanted pregnancy remains a huge problem in the U.S. It’s crazy really, so many birth control methods to choose from and still, U.S is one of the areas where abortion is the highest. Moving on, when someone is selecting a contraceptive method, they should really consider the
Abortion is when a pregnancy is ended so the child isn't born. Some people also call it ‘termination of pregnancy’(what is abortion). There are two types of abortion treatments, medical and surgical abortion. Some women take the abortion path because they feel too young to have a child. Some women may have got raped and don’t feel like that is their child. Abortion is bad because you are killing a living breathing person, it is unsafe and it's also illegal in some states.
Women and teens considered abortion because they wanted to end an unwanted pregnancy, pregnancy from rape or incest, and inability to support or care for a child. Zastrow and Kirst-Asham (2016) stated that the “abortion is the termination of a pregnancy by removing an embryo or fetus from the uterus before it can survive on its own outside the womb” (p.85). Women can choose to end a pregnancy by taking a medicine or undergo a surgical
Abortion is the killing and removing the fetus/ embryo before there is any possibilities of it surviving outside of the mother’s uterus. Abortion is the end of a pregnancy that is normally chosen by the mother, but is also known as a miscarriage. Abortions are mostly known as a surgical procedure, this is done multiple ways but all killing the fetus/ embryo. There is a variety of viewpoints on abortion such as through the religious tradition, also from seeing it as a crime to beneficial, this is an on-going debate about abortion.
