The suicide rate is more than that of the homicide rate
Do you know there are over one million people who death because suicide and homicide? Nowadays, suicidal and homicidal problems have become concerned for people. The most people look that homicidal problems are dangerous and have to solve quickly. Also, they think that homicide is the most cause of death. However, they think wrong because the rate of suicide is higher than 60 percentages of homicide rates when compared. The risk factors of suicide rate are higher than that of the homicide rate because of following reasons; physical illness, psychiatric disorders, and social and economic problems which lead to increase in the rate of suicide cases.
Firstly, the physical illness can lead to suicide because people who suffer from physical illness will feel low self-esteem, so it can lead to suicide. Schneider (n.d.) said physical illness is a risk factor that supposed over 70 percentages of suicides. Chronic physical illness is related particularly with depression and substance abuse.
