At the beginning of Hamlet the reader finds out that Hamlet’s father has been killed by his own brother and he marries his old wife and takes the throne. Hamlet’s father comes back in the middle of the night as a ghost to tell Hamlet the truth about his death and to avenge his death and get him out of purgatory. Hamlet himself is distraught and angry from the news he has received and begins to make a mess of things. The differences between Hamlet and Claudius are Claudius is a doer and he does things for himself. Hamlet on the other hand, he thinks about everything but his biggest problem is the fact that he over thinks situations and doesn’t act on them. Hamlet gets alone and thinks to himself about every scenario that can happen based off of what he decides to do in that moment, he was in the praying cubical when his uncle Claudius was praying for forgiveness and he thought “Now might I do it pat, now he is praying,And now I'll do it. And so he goes to heaven, And so am I revenged. That would be scann'd: A villain kills my father, and for that, I, his sole son, do this same villain send To heaven (Act III, Scene III).”Claudius is Hamlet’s uncle, you find that he is the reason for the death of King Hamlet and he marries the late king’s wife. Claudius made moves that would benefit himself and was hoping that nobody would find the truth about his dead brother. Hamlet finds the truth about him killing his father and sets up a scene in a play that reenact the same thing he did when he killed King Hamlet, Once he sees the scene he gets very disturbed because he knows someone knows the truth. When the scene of the play comes along, Claudius gets up in a feared rage and says “Give me some light! Away!
