When someone thinks of power, two people come to mind: Adolf Hitler and Joseph Stalin. Both of these men played an enormous role in history as well as the lives of numerous people. There are several differences and similarities between both powerful men. The two men were the most influential people that change the manner of how people portray others. Adolf Hitler and Joseph Stalin were part of history in various ways that achieved dictatorship which lead them to be authoritative and dominant in the world that changed during their time.
In comparing the two, Hitler and Stalin were both dictatorships in the World Wars. Although in World War I, Hitler and Stalin were against each other within the alliances they were in. However, in World War II, the two powerful men start playing a major role in the world. As nobody really knew what was happening around us in the terrible war, Stalin and Hitler were influencing people and gaining allegiance from their countries. Both people used propaganda to influence people to see what they wanted. Going after certain groups that they did not

believe in is what Stalin and Hitler did. Stalin basically would not handle being in control, how Hitler went after the Jews.
An immense similarity between Stalin and Hitler was that they both killed many innocent people because they wanted power and religious persecution. Joseph Stalin killed more people than Adolf Hitler, but Hitler takes more blameworthiness in the world. Countless people do not recall what Stalin did, more people know about the Holocaust. Stalin killed 20 million people in two diminutive years due to starvation and suffering. Hitler killed 12 million people in the Final Solution. Both men had different techniques in killing the groups that they went after. Hitler, for example, used concentration and death camps to make people suffer. The camps had gas chambers that could kill hundreds of people at one time. Although Hitler techniques were treacherous, Stalin’s techniques were just as horrendous. Killing in large portions, Stalin forced his guards to listen to the orders he was giving out. Cutting off all food from most of his country, Stalin left people in starvation. Killing people during the 20th century for their own willingness lead to the death of Hitler and Stalin. Moreover, Stalin and Hitler left their countries in desperation by paying back in respirations for the senseless acts of two immoral, wicked, self-centered dictators.
A main difference between Hitler and Stalin was that Hitler believed in Nazism and Stalin believed in communism.

The ideologies were diverse in various ways other than they both involved dictatorship. Nazism is when Hitler went after all of the Jews how communism is when Stalin took complete power over a country and ruled the without restrictions. When dealing with the ideologies, they both dealt with an abundance of mass destruction and violence within the country of the idea. Many people today are still dealing and learning from the World Wars; no one will ever know a real logical reason for what happened. Causing political controversy about how people can view society and how it can affect someone in the long run developed soon after the wars. Although Hitler and Stalin had many objectives in common, they also had several distinctions between them. Hitler and Stalin were singularly the two most dominant men in the twentieth-century. Their decisions to manipulate by cruel behavior will always be in the world history. Stalin, in one’s opinion, was much worse than Hitler; however, both were controlling and took away the rights of their own peoples and many lives. In the future, people have to be careful of who influences them and know what is happening in the world.
