Your determination to have success is decided by your drive, whether you want to succeed in life or be average. Its within your mind what you want to achieve in life, depending on your drive and dedication it can take you a short while or your whole to succeed. Its your choice whether you want to achieve your American dream. One method for success is when people feel happy when they get their first car or first house, luxurious items in general. Money is sometimes a factor for people because of they’re hard work and dedication towards they’re goal or in the classroom and getting they’re degree and releasing the stress from school. The other half is when people love their job and have a good loving family which in their eyes is their success. …show more content…
Nothing is given, its only achieved. So many challenges come your way of being successful in life. Overall the people who work hard overcome anything that’s thrown their way. Whether it’s research to go through or working late maybe even kissing up to the boss to get on his good side. The best thing in my opinion is if something you fail over and over again don’t give up because I would rather fail first and learn what I did wrong so I wouldn’t make the same mistake again to perfect my art. People tend to give up if they fail on one more occasions and never attempt to participate again. People who have an intelligent method of working hard towards success tend to enjoy the process of hardship constantly simply because they find it easy, because they’re smart. For example Abraham Lincoln from the age of twenty one to fifty two when he went on to become the president of the United States. Also Thomas Edison failed multiple times going over the process of creating the light bulb, perfecting his art. These two exceeded people expectations and failed over and over again but it took just one time to perfect their art and make history because of their drive they had to
Success can be an extremely broad subject. There is an abounding amount of different views on what the “true” definition of success is. Personally, I believe that success is finding happiness. Success is waking up in the morning and not having to worry about whether or not the bills are going to be paid this month. Success is having a job that you enjoy going to every day. Success is having friends and family who love and support you. Success does not mean that one has to be exceedingly rich or have a lakeside mansion. As long as they are happy, they have succeeded in life.
´´ If one advances confident in the direction of his dreams, and endeavors to live the life he imagined, he will meet with a success unexpected in common hours. ’’ These words were spoken by Henry David Thoreau.Success is within the mind of the individual. A large portion of one´s life is spent working to become successful. People are told throughout childhood to work hard so they can grow up and achieve all of their dreams. But success takes many different forms. Different people have different interpretations of what success means to them. It does not matter how related they are to each other in certain áreas they always have a different point of view of what success really is. For some success is measured by social status and wealth
As children, we are naturally, curious, eager and willing to try new things. When they don’t work out we are quick to move on and try something else. We don’t waste time or start worrying about what didn’t work, we simply move on to trying something else. As we grow older we learn that failure is unacceptable and we always need to be on our feet and improving ourselves all the time so we can decrease the chances of failure. I believe that in this world everyone is hungry for success and no one wants to fail in something they would love to accomplish one day. Desire for success is like a “drug” in this generation, without success people look down upon you and will believe that you’re not worth their time without giving you a chance. The phrase
Failure can cause a torrent of mixed emotions and thoughts. One can begin to doubt their motives for even attempting to succeed at a certain task. Some people may choose to give up after failure, but there are a select few who rise up to the occasion and move forward to try and succeed no matter how many tries it takes. By overcoming those difficult moments in life, it gives a person a sense of accomplishment and pride and that alone is a beautiful thing.
In her book Angela talks about different studies where animals experienced the same terrible situations like receiving a shock, but some animals had hope and others were hopeless. The animals that had hope could stop the shock while the hopeless were not able to, and as a result the hopeless animals showed less grit and perseverance in other tests. The same is true for people, if throughout your childhood you work hard and never see your hard work materialize into a skill you can become hopeless. These kids will be more likely to give up when they experience hard times causing them to not be gritty in the future. For people that have hope they realize that even though they may be struggling they know that if they work hard enough and continue to push forward they will be rewarded.
Success is within the mind of the individual. A large portion of ones life is spent working to become successful. People are told throughout childhood to work hard so they can grow up and make lots of money. But success takes many different forms. Different people have different interpretations of what success means to them. For some, success is measured by social status and wealth; for others success is determined only by the amount of happiness one feels.
Success only truly comes with being happy. Happiness and success are the accomplices of one another. Someone cannot have accompanies without the other. Happiness brings success, and success brings even more happiness. Success, in the dictionary, is defined as the achievement of something desired planned or attempted. Therefore, success cannot be judged by anyone than oneself. It is a personal thing. It is the realization of goals, desires or plans made by one 's self. It is not measurable and yet is something we always use to compare others or appraise someone 's worth. Success, in one form or another, is something that someone should always be striving for. For some people it is something they will do subconsciously, and for others it will be something they will constantly labor for. Because success is something that is different for everyone, it is best that they measure their personal success by their sense of self worth instead of others. To have succeeded is to have lived, as someone wanted; ' it is to have lived well and laughed
Life will throw even the most successful people challenges that they cannot avoid but the outcome of those situations always lies firmly in the hands of the people involved. Figures from the past have shown this to be true. Martin Luther King Jr., Rosa Parks, Gandhi, etc. are inspirational people who have taken unfortunate circumstances and have changed them into opportunities--into unarticulated examples of accomplishments that have changed the society’s views on the benefits of always striving for something better. Robert Frost was one of those people; he was able to optimize the most out of terrible situations, and was able to explain the lessons he learned through poetry, expressing how life is a never-ending learning process. He continued
“Success is not final. Failure is not fatal. It is the courage to continue that counts.” – The famous quote by Winston Churchill explains it all.
People, day in and day out, have success doing certain things, but most likely failed many times before the success came. Success is not earned it is accomplished by trying and believing in something. When people fail they do not succeed, and will never succeed without trying. People may have to try something a thousand different ways before they find the one way that work, but in the end the feeling of accomplishment is worth it. In the long run it may be easier to fail then succeed, but it will not benefit the person and they will never know what could have happened if they had kept on trying. If Albert Einstein had given up after trying and failing multiple times to make the light bulb, we would never had light. If Steve Jobs had given up after trying and multiple times to make an iphone, we would never of had smart phones. These are just two examples of people who have had success from their failures, and every time people fail, people can either learn from it or give up. It may seem easier to give up, in that moment, but in the long run people will benefit from trying over and over until they
A person needs to achieve certain goals in one's life before you can call them successful. Success is to achieve goals, you have set. I have set certain goals I would like to achieve in my lifetime. Some of these goals are personal while others are professional. My professional goals in life are to find a good job that makes me happy, get a good education, find a job that makes enough money for me to support my family, and help people. Goals it is very important for me to receive a good education. Most job fields require a descent education. If I don't have an education I would not be able to function properly at the work place and I would not understand what to do. To maintain a good job that will make good money will require me to go thorough schooling or training and maybe even both. Education is the first and foremost way to become successful, because the job I will choose will need me go to school and maybe even beyond college. My happiness in what I do is also a goal for me I my life. There is no way someone can become successful if they are not happy with what they are doing. ...
They have got to try again and again in the face of failures. If they fail once, they will gain experience therefore that will help them in their second effort. But making use of these experiences they will grow wisher and feel surer. This is the foundation of success. Those who build upon the foundation of wisdom and self-confidence, will meet with durable success.
Some things you will complete successfully and then there are other things where the outcome will be failure. Successful people are willing to fail when they are trying something new to them. Willing to fail do not literally mean that you will fail. This concept actually means a successful person will have enough trust in themselves to step into the position where they have accepted the fact that they could possibly fail in order to succeed. Without having enough trust within yourself, you will not know what you’re capable or not capable of achieving. From personal experience I know I have placed myself in many situations where I knew it was a possibility of me failing the first time around. When I put my mind to something I refuse to give up no matter how challenging it may be. I welcome something that is a challenge over something that is too easy. I am challenged the most in my school courses that I am required to take for my major. One class would be Anthropology. When I took Anthropology for the first time I did not know anything about the subject. The first time I took the class I found it very difficult, but yet I did not give up. At the end of the semester I did not pass but when I took the class for the third time at a different school I found it easier. I finally passed the class and was proud of my grade because I knew that I earned the grade. I wasn’t happy that I had to repeat the class multiple times, but I am proud of my
Meaning of success has become confusing. We live in the world that tells us that it is important to be rich rather than be happy. We all know examples of people who are famous and rich, but are very unhappy. For example comedian Dave Chappelle had his own TV show and became a famous and a rich person. Yet underneath he was very unhappy; He was so unhappy that he had to stop his show because he had a nervous breakdown from the pressure of being
People are not always successful in their lives, including the talent and rich people. Many people fear to fail, because they are fearing that other people know that they are not smart or talent. When a person is successful, nobody will notice their effort, but when they fail, many people will remember that. Throughout history many great inventions were created base on many time of failure. Nobody in this world can invented something for the first time without being failed. An example for it is Wright brothers, who created airplanes, they were failed many time before they were successful make a heavy mental machine fly up to the
