An area of great contrast between the two forms of education regards the student experience. For example, students may enjoy taking tests or listening to lectures in the comfort of their own home. However, this poses a major disadvantage of not being able to ask questions as they naturally arise. An online student may have to wait around for their instructor to respond to an email, whereas being present in a classroom permits questions to be asked and answered on the spot. Another advantage of attending a brick-and-mortar college is having access to classmates for study groups or help with homework. Internet classes are much easier on the student. Internet classes have a self-teach guide that helps them teach themselves. It is not the easiest thing, but they can pass themselves in what they are studying on. Students just do not pay attention in a traditional classroom any more. They get lazy and bored. Which sooner are later leads to failing their classes.A student that excel faster than other students becomes bored. They start doing doodles on their paper in front of them. They do not pay attention to the teacher in class. On an online course they can excel as fast as they want. The student can finish an online course in the matter of months. Instead of sitting in a boring class room. Students that get bored in the classroom seems to lead to dropping grades because of lack of interest.
Online school and classes have major flexibility in many aspects. For example, a student can accomplish their classes from their own home. It also does not necessarily matter the time of day that the student feels to do their work, so the student can make their own schedule. Whereas, distance learning is a modern more technological approach to learning off-campus. Whether traditional or distance learning is better, depends entirely on the student.
There are some students who find it easier to work in internet classrooms and some others that find it easier to stay with traditional classrooms. I think someone may choose internet classrooms if they have difficulty interacting with teachers and other students. Some people do not like being in the classroom because they do not feel at ease around certain people especially those who treat others with disrespect. It is hard for a student to concentrate and learn a lesson when they have that kind of pressure.

Modern day technology and advancements are starting to make everyday tasks seem old school and annoying. What would be do without our gps, cell phones, or even a dishwasher? For a while now, a certain method of teaching has become popular in many colleges across the nation: online education. Online education is learning with the assistance of the Internet and a personal computer in place of attending a classroom with other students. Many online classes offer students the opportunity to learn while not having to leave the comfort of their home. Colleges in America are offering more and more courses online as an alternative to the traditional way of learning in a classroom. However, many disagree with the notion of providing online classes to students.
Some students within society need to have online learning to complete college degrees due to their lifestyles.
