(Chlorhexidine Vs. Povidone Iodine for surgical antiseptic, Chlorhexidine Pro-side)
Recent studies have shown that chlorhexidine is an overall better antiseptic than povidone iodine. Chlorhexidine has lower infection rates, decreased risk of adverse effects, and provides longer protection against newly introduced bacteria. In a study conducted in gynecological surgeries, the chlorhexidine groups rate of infection was only 4.5%, compared to povidone iodine’s infection rate of 14.6% (Levin, Amer-Alshiek, Avni, Lessing, Satel, Almog, 2011).
Regarding safety, there have been several reports filed against povidone iodine of cases where the patient suffered serious complications such as chemical burns and irritant-contact dermatitis (Al Maqbali,

Bacteria vaginosis is treated with antibiotic medications (CDC). Metronidazole is commonly used. Metronidazole treatment does not adversely affect lactobacilli so they are able to recolonize the vagina and reduce the risk of late-stage relapse (Catlin, 1992). The cephalosporins available in the late 1970s were not very active against G. vaginalis.

Both the storming of the Winter Palace and the execution of Tsar Nicholas II and his family ushered in the rise of Socialism in Russia. Although both Mr. Reed and Mr. Medvedev’s accounts were both from two different revolutionaries, the Bolsheviks and the Petrograd Soviets, points of view, both Reed and Medvedev had vastly different experiences. From the standpoint of each of these men, John Reed, an American who had never experienced or seen Socialism, and Pavel Medvedev, a soldier in the resistance against the Provisional Government, I believe they each had positive views on what they had experienced. Based on where Reed and Medvedev came from and what they did as an occupation would definitely affect what they saw and how they would interpret

In the Chinese culture there are several major religions, two of these include Confucianism and Taoism, which have dated back for thousands of years. According to. Experiencing the World 's Religions and The World’s Wisdom: Sacred Texts of the World’s Religions, both Confucianism and Taoism originated in ancient China through the religions’ teachers: Confucius and Lao Tzu. “Taoism and Confucianism grew up together, entering Chinese history around the sixth century B.C.E.; Taoism’s beginnings are linked to the legendary figure of Lao Tzu, senior to Confucius by about fifty years. Even though Taoism and many other folk religions have shaped the Chinese mind, Confucianism remains, by any historical measure, its chief mentor” (Novak 113).
Infection control is very important in the health care profession. Health care professionals, who do not practice proper infection control, allow themselves to become susceptible to a number of infections. Among the most dreaded of these infections are: hepatitis B (HBV), hepatitis C (HCV), and human immunodeficiency virus (HIV). Another infection which has more recently increased in prevalence is methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA). These infections are all treated differently. Each infection has its own symptoms, classifications, and incubation periods. These infections are transmitted in very similar fashions, but they do not all target the same population.
Using them as recommended is safe, but when misleading the use of such will turn out to be dangerous to one. Users must take extra caution especially when they are not familiar with the herbal medicine.
