INTRODUCTION
Descriptive statistics can be defined as statistics that summarizes data that is collected from a research. One way of summarizing research data is by calculating the measure of central tendency. Examples of measure of central tendency includes mode, mean and Midian. Data can also be summarized in respect to variance. When the scores are more spread out of the mean, there is a greater variance.

There is success of data points. These are plotted through line charts and mainly used in statistics. They are also used in forecasting. A time series helps one to draw meaning from the collected data not just only the characteristics of the data. The methods of time series are categorized into frequency based and time based (Anderson, 2011). The frequency based are the one that will show how often a problem occurs in an organization. For example, in Best Restaurant, we can see that the problem is frequent.so when using the time series, we will able to predict how long it will take for the organization to improve in terms of performance. In the domain of time, we are able to predict duration. If for example the organization has capital how long will it take to set up a new building at the same time employ enough
Chuy’s Tex-Mex Restaurant started in 1982 in Austin, TX off Barton Springs Rd. It was the vision of two friends, Mike Young and John Zapp. They wanted to create a restaurant that offered quality food, diverse options, and affordable prices. The first location was in an old, abandoned BBQ shack with limited room and space, but it would certainly do. Mike and John ran low on their budget for décor and ended up with $20 to spend. John went out to find as much décor as possible. “You can’t fake cheap.” said, John. One of the items John came back with was a velvet canvas of Elvis; thus the beginning of the signature culture and environment provide by Chuy’s. John and Mark say, “If you’ve seen one Chuy’s, you’ve seen one Chuy’s.” The one common denominator found in each location is the Elvis Shrine. From the very beginning The King has played a part in this successful restaurants growth and development.
Two locally owned famous restaurants in Sedalia, Missouri, El Espolon and El Tapatio, are both recognized as quality, authentic Mexican restaurants that serve Sedalia with outstanding service and great food. After paying each establishment a visit this past weekend, I have discovered some differences and similarities in the two. Although many of my relatives have chosen El Espolon as their favorite, I found El Tapatio to provide a more ethnic experience with their excellent food, sharp service, and clean venue.
I will be talking about Carmine’s Southern Italian Restaurant, Specifically the Theater District location where I work. Carmine’s located in the Theater District is a very successful establishment; I have met some of the hardest working individuals in my time of employment and have learned how the company works. They are a family style restaurant where all food is meant to be shared. Carmine’s implements a real good concept and I will be talking about all of things that help this business thrive and be a fan favorite in New York.
Chipotle is my favorite place to eat. As I am sure it is for other people. Chipotle is a fast food Mexican grill. They are most known for how big they make your burritos. Now it is fast food but it isn’t actually fast, they’re like a restaurant but without the wait. They serve all naturally raised meat and organic beans. So there food is pretty healthy and worth eating. The employees are always nice and it just a great place to eat over all. Chipotle is a great choice for a quick fast food stop because it gives great service, atmosphere, food and value. My experience there is always a good one.

The final chapter of this book encourages people to be critical when taking in statistics. Someone taking a critical approach to statistics tries assessing statistics by asking questions and researching the origins of a statistic when that information is not provided. The book ends by encouraging readers to know the limitations of statistics and understand how statistics are
For decades, the fast food industry has become victim to rumors and false claims. McDonald’s is no stranger to misinformation regarding the ingredients of their food. These problems are especially relevant to today’s society, as many people distrust large corporations.
There are very many different economic indicators that are used to analyze economic activity of a company, industry, country, or region. There are three different general trends (directions for prices or rates) in the economy. "Those with predictive value are leading indicators; those occurring at the same time as the related economic activity are coincident indicators; and those that only become apparent after the activity are lagging indicators. Examples are unemployment, housing starts, Consumer Price Index, industrial production, bankruptcies, GDP, stock market prices, money supply changes, and housing starts also called business indicators." This article’s main claim is that providing healthy food options in fast food menus allows individuals to perceive the food on the menu overall as healthy; and therefore enhances the likelihood that they will over consume unhealthy food options as well. Downs supports her argument by first providing context and introduces the question why “labels in restaurants do not change behavior”? (429). She finds that “restaurants who have provided nutritional labeling did not change consumer behavior nor did consumers take the opportunity to read them as well” (429). She notes that this critical because fast food has been referred to as one of the reasons behind the rise of obesity in the United States. In addition, she states that her findings about
“I’ve been here for ten minutes and my server hasn’t taken my order yet!” This is a direct quote from me before I worked at a restaurant. I never looked to see how many tables my server actually had or how much running I made them do. The sad truth is most people do not notice these details either, which may affect the tip their server will receive. By looking at the attitude and maintenance of restaurant customers, you can classify them into three categories according to their tipping patterns: the “hmm…how good were they? tippers,” “the “stick-to-the-fifteen-percent tippers,” and the “I-am-or-once-was-a-server tippers”.
This McDonalds has some similarities and some differences compared to the McDonalds located in Washington Heights. You can see everything inside the McDonalds because the windows are completely see through except for some of the posters covering parts of the window. The posters on the windows are promoting the McDonalds value menu and the other one say you can win a new Xbox one. There is another poster promoting their white chocolate mocha. The McDonalds is located on a street corner and does not have an awning that extends into the street. The awning does not hold the traditional colors. The awning or storefront consists of the colors brown, black, and white. The McDonalds name is written completely in white, while it lays on a background of brown and black stripes. The brown stripes are protruding while the black stripes are lying in the background. Under this sign is another sign that sticks out in front of the main entrance. This sign is very small but has the McDonalds logo, but uses the colors red, yellow, and brown.
