New York motion picture

The clear, turquoise sky was the perfect backdrop for a normal day in New York. I arose from my bed and stared out the window into the vast landscape of towering buildings and streets that all connected like a jigsaw puzzle. These streets were mobbed with cars and bright yellow taxi cabs going to and fro in numerous directions. Being high up in my apartment building made New York seem so simple. Like when you're flying on a plane and you look down below and instead of seeing the bustling lives of people down below all you see is the simple shapes of land, houses or motorways. The incredible thing about New York is it doesn't matter where you are, everything is beautiful in its own individual way. Every building old or modern down to the smoke rising from the drains. New York is like a film set. Magical. Seems to good to be true.

Just like the sound of New York there are also an array of smells. You can taste the exhaust fumes wafting from the multiple vehicles that roam the driving lanes. On certain days , simply walking down a New York City block means being assaulted by smells: garbage, sweat, cigarettes and the hard-to-classify odours that come blasting on waves of hot air out of subway grates and building vents.

Central Park is like an oasis in the blistering desert. It looks misplaced or simply untouched. Its the one place where busy doesn't seem so chaotic. Imagine New York in slow motion. Renting bicycles or roller blading swiftly through the trees that sway in the light breeze.The park is a quintessential part of New York City. It's captivating seeing the rocky outcrops, which are the bedrock of Manhattan; and to see the contrast between the park and the buildings surrounding
