Thus, was a warm and sunny day. The breeze hitting my face as if it were comforting me. I was down by the meadow in Salem, I took off my boots dipping my feet in the cool flowing river. I could see frogs and other animals enjoying the wonderful bright day. I saw my reflection in the river, When I saw a shadow in the water as if something was approaching me. Then I saw Sarah Mueller spring out of the river taking me into the water. Suddenly, as I was being grasped down into the river I couldn't breath as if I was being choked. The river which was only supposed to be a foot deep but turned into a gigantic ocean, it was getting darker and darker until the point where as if I was blinded. I could not stand holding my breath. I tried to take a large gasp of air. But all I received was the chilling dark water. I saw only the light from the top as I took my last gasped for air. …show more content…

My mother quickly rushed towards me, "Ann are you alright?". It was just a nightmare I said. My mother took me to the fireplace where she wrapped me in a blanket of wool and gave me a warm cup of milk to warm me up. After I was cozy and warmed up by the blazes and ashes which seemed to dance as the cold wind hit it, I put on my winter trousers and clothing. I opened the door and started walking to Sarah Mueller's house in the freezing winter. I stepped outside, it was like as if a gigantic wool blanket of snow had fallen over Salem. My hands were burning from the freezing temperatures. It was the chilliest winter the town has ever seen. Snow was downpouring, I could barely see my own feet as I studdered through the blizzard. When I started thinking, some say it was a work of a witch, I didn't know who the witch was... Then a smirk came up on my face as I dashed to Sarah Mueller's
