The wedding reception was a lot of fun. The two couples had a great time with their guests. There was a lot of dancing, at one point every single person on the dance floor, young and old. The food was great. Everything was going as planned and it honestly felt like they were all floating on cloud nine, experiencing some sort of dream. But now the reception was over and the real fun was about to begin. The men were excited to show the girls their brand new homes. The girls would have no idea. As they sat in the limo they assumed they were going back to the hotel but when they passed the exit the girls looked at each other confused. Where were they going? “Where are we going?” Lexi whispered to Logan. He just smirked lightly at her, keeping quiet, not wanting to ruin the surprise. Lexi kept looking at him with big puppy eyes. “Oh, you’ll see love. …show more content…
Home? Was this cute little home really their home now? Had Noah really bought them this nice little house? Rachel was ecstatic. It looked so cute. All she wanted to do was run around and touch everything, to make it all her own. She squirmed, wanting to get down. “Hey! Stop moving you little love bug!” Noah tightened his grip around her, not letting her get down. She was no match for his strength and so she looked up at him with a pout hoping he would let her go if she looked at him long enough. Noah chuckled and shook his head, “I know you must be excited to explore your new home, but we have to go test drive the best part of the house!” Rachel’s eyes grew again. That’s right. It was still their wedding night and that meant a red hot night of passion and love. Rachel was now excited for him to bring her to bed. They had made love countless times before but tonight was their wedding night and she had no doubt in her mind that tonight would be something she would never forget. It would be magical, something truly special.

For those of you that don’t know, I am Trey Rongisch and I am currently a student at Midland University. It is quite ironic how Nick and I first met, it was during my first college class. I would have never expected him to ask me to be his Best Man at his wedding in the short span of four months, but when he asked me, I just couldn’t turn down the offer. But I’m going to be honest, I’ve been feeling quite nervous about giving this speech for some time. But I’m pleased to say last night I slept like a baby – I woke up every two hours, crying my eyes out. With this in mind, I am ready to get this speech going and I must share how honored I am to be here today and speak on behalf of Nick and his beautiful wife, Katie.
Before Allie had to leave for the summer, they were standing in the house and were talking about what type of house Allie wanted after Noah built them a house to live in together. Now it is few years later with no contact and Noah’s dad hands him a check to rebuild the house he had visited when he was a teenager. This house was meant to be for Noah and Allie, so Noah builds it how Allie wanted it for his undying love for Allie. He spends days and nights building this house and painting it white with blue shutters and a porch that wraps all around the front. By building the house this way it will always remind him of Allie and what they had together. Noah puts the house up for sale and also puts it in the newspaper in hopes that Allie will see what he has done. It ended up being fate because Allie’s undying love for Noah caused Allie to stop planning her wedding with her fiance to go and visit
“Oh my gosh! We bought a house. I am so excited. We don't have to move anymore. No more packing!”
The concept of odor is also explained as a hint for a sin: "Sin has a putrid smell, virtue exhales sweet odours." (Origen 269). It is possible to consider the concept of 'odor' even in broader terms, when it integrates the ideas of "the spiritual sense of Scripture." (Origen 270). Dominance of the bride's words is relevant, because if we hear what she says, we can understand what she hears. This shows a spiritual interconnectedness of the plot in the Song of Songs between Christianity and mysticism. The Bride and the Bridegroom are two basic pillars in this book. Origen talks about a 'spiritual embrace', which wraps the readers with its divine nature. Desires of the Bride and Bridegroom are not persistent. They convey their ideas slowly and tenderly with love and worship: "Let him kiss me" rather than "O that He would kiss!" Thus, the readers can sense a power of the spiritual love to God.
Monsoon Wedding reveals an experience that is equal amounts of foreign and familiar to both American and Indian audiences. In what seems to be a combination of Hollywood and Bollywood, the movie starts with a chaotic, arranged marriage that ends in moments of dramatic revelation and joyful celebrations. In Monsoon Wedding, director Mira Nair illustrates the tension between a traditional and globalized India but encourages her audience to embrace both customs by comparing the marriages of Alice and Aditi.
Therefore, while some might cleave to this modern view of relationships, the truth is that it will not reap good fruit because it goes against the innate roles of humans.
It had been a fairly good week. I received an A on another one of Mr. Jackson’s exams, and completed another week of eighth grade basketball ‘practice’, which in my case consisted of standing against the wall watching the starters run the plays. It was only my first year playing, so I was just enjoying being on the team with my friends. But that weekend was to be unlike most others in my past. I was attending my aunt’s wedding downtown. I was to watch my aunt, who I had known my whole life, and her boyfriend, who I had known for about 3 years, commit to each other the rest of their lives before the audience of people they knew the best. The last wedding I had attended, in 2004, was a very different experience for me. I was younger and knew less about how the world

Good evening, ladies and gentlemen, friends and family, teachers, students, and most of all, graduates of the Class of 2018. It's truly an honor to be standing before you on this special day. First and foremost, I would like to start this speech off by thanking my parents, who have raised me since the day I was born and have helped me become the person I am today. All of my achievements are not only mine, but theirs too, because without my mom and dad's hard work and encouragement, I would not be standing here and speaking to all of you today. In fact, none of us would have come this far without the support of our families.

It’s about 7:45 P.M. April 15, 2015. Jasmine is calling my name asking if I’m ready to go. As I’m trying to put all the loose ends together, I think I’m ready. My hair is done in a curly up do with a thin white braided hair band, makeup rushed but it will do, and I’m wearing a knee length white dress. Just a simple white dress, form fitting, made from a linen type of material. My stomach is turning and twisting. As my mind is racing we make way to the park. Jasmine seems to be more eager than I am. As we arrive to the park my legs are a trembling mess. I feel like my mind is in a state of chaos. As I feel my chest pumping harder and harder, it feels tighter and tighter. This day will mark a very important day for the rest of my life. Today is the day I marry my husband. On this day my family becomes one.

Marriage: It’s one of the most desired systems on the planet, yet it is still one of the most misunderstood ideas known to mankind. The definition of being in matrimony has evolved with time, and through the years society has been seemingly reluctant to such changes. From the end of anti-miscegenation laws to the legalization of interracial marriage, society has grown to understand the importance the choice of getting married has on the individual. As of now, the right of matrimony is given to all but one group of Americans.
