Lakeville Park, located in the small city of Lakeville, Minnesota, consolidates all inhabitants of its community by providing a popular, yet simple place for neighbors to meet. Lakeville Park serves as a safe haven where people can postpone reality. The atmosphere includes no worries, concerns, or stress; only jubilation and relaxation exist. As laughter and shrieks of joy cascade from children's mouths, puppies playfully whine and scamper through the lush, freshly-cut grass. Majestic robins serenade one another with lovely songs beautiful enough to bring the grouchiest of men to a gentle slumber. A genuine sense of happiness permeates the air. The immense smiles on everyone’s faces stretch as wide as the sky; their brightness radiates the entire park. Parents mingle with one another from the benches on which they sit. Each blemish on the benches signifies a memory, specific to an occurrence caused by a member of the community. Every mark and scratch holds its own, individual story and background.
