Every year around May, my friends from middle school and I have attended the Bellevue Picnic. This started in 5th grade, because we had to go for band and play a couple of songs, and after we were done we would go hang out at the park until 10pm. The Bellevue Picnic is right across the street from Bellevue Middle, at the Red Caboose Park. It gets packed very quickly. I parked at my middle school for the 2016 picnic because there were no other spots at the church across the street. They have games and little stands for people, mainly kids, to go to. The park entrance has a bunch of food trucks, like Papa Johns, Mexican food, fair food, etc. You can also get free lemonade and a cup by going across the street to the church. My friends and I usually hang out in the park or we walk around the area. Also at night, depending on weather, they will have fireworks. From 5th-8th grade, the picnic was fun, but not as fun as when I got to high school. When my friends and I would go, we would always play hide and seek in …show more content…
This is the last picnic for my friends and I while we are not in college yet. Our group of friends and the friends they made from Hillwood will 99.9% be there, unless someone has work. I never get to hang out with them all since I was so busy with school. It hasn’t been all of us since last year’s picnic. The picnic is really the best way for all of us to hang out. I think what we will do is go towards lunch time and sit on the benches to eat and talk for a while. Then walk around the track a couple times and leave to go do something else. Hopefully we all go to one person’s house again, to me that made it more fun since the fireworks are kind of boring. When spring starts coming, I get very excited for the picnic. All my friends know I am excited too since I have talked about it already, and because I told them the date it is happening. I never want the night to end when I am with all my

Out of the 12 months of the year, students basically only have about two months to have fun and not worry about school. As a teenager, you do things without predicting the outcome. We tend to not always listen to our parents and sometimes end up in terrible situations.

My Final Banquet: It was my final moments as a Chelsea High School cheerleader. My final banquet was quickly approaching. It was then that I realized I was not ready for the season to be over. I stood in front of my friends, fellow cheerleaders, and their families as they watched and waited for me to recite my last words as the season came to an end. It took hours for me to write about what my teammates and coaches meant to me.
In the film, The Breakfast Club (1985), John Bender, the slovenly rebel at Shermer High School in Chicago, is serving a Saturday detention with four very different students. Right from the beginning, Bender exhibits the qualities of a destructive and thoughtless criminal, i.e., he taunts everyone else in order to hide his personal inadequacies. Whenever Bender is questioned by his peers about a personal issue, or whenever he cannot provide a clear answer to a question, he—albeit defensively— responds in a facetious and irritated manner. Bender demonstrated this when Andrew Clark, the “sporto”, told him that he did not count, and that “if [he] disappeared forever it wouldn’t make any difference.” Distraught from Andrew’s blunt comment, Bender sarcastically retorted, “Well, I’ll just run right out and join the wrestling team...” As time goes on, Bender slowly sheds his rough attitude and starts opening up his true self to the other students.
What is childhood? To some its the upbringing and quality of life given to the child within the first several years of the child's life. In its simplest form, childhood is classified as the age span which ranges from birth to adolescence. During those years of childhood, most children go through various different physical and cognitive changes. According to the famous cognitive developmental theorist Jean Piaget, in psychology, childhood consists of four separate stages of development. Those stages are sensorimotor, pre-operational, concrete operational, and formal operational stages. The sensorimotor stage extends from both to when the child first starts to grasp the concept of language. In the pre-operational stage is when the child starts
...kinson and Shriffin model: the parallel- distributed and processing connectionistic. The parallel-distributed processing model states that information is processed simultaneously by several different parts of the memory system. Since the time of the first experiment on grouping, psychologists have consistently found that
The ruckus from the bottom of the truck is unbearable, because of the noise and excessive shaking. As we slowly climbed the mountain road to reach our lovely cabin, it seemed almost impossible to reach the top, but every time we reached it safely. The rocks and deep potholes shook the truck and the people in it, like a paint mixer. Every window in the truck was rolled down so we could have some leverage to hold on and not loose our grip we needed so greatly. The fresh clean mountain air entered the truck; it smelt as if we were lost: nowhere close to home. It was a feeling of relief to get away from all the problems at home. The road was deeply covered with huge pines and baby aspen trees. Closely examining the surrounding, it looks as if it did the last time we were up here.
The Last Supper is one of the greatest work of art created by Italian inventor and innovator Leonardo de Vinci. The famous piece of work is located in Milan Italy on the wall of Santa Maria delle Grazie. Last Supper is proof of de Vinci astonishing artistic talent and vision. Da Vinci uses both, along with his perception of the Holy Scriptures, and gives reality to the last moments before Jesus’ betrayal.
Childhood is a time when significant events can and will leave impressions on oneself. It is not out of the ordinary that a large event will at least somewhat shape the mind of a child whether they realize it or not. One event that may have altered me somewhat was when I had to move from my old abode of Baileyton, Tennessee to Morristown to live with my grandparents. This was the result of my mother’s eventual passing after a losing battle with Cancer. Experiencing the “real world” so early may have changed how I think about and come to certain conclusions. I do not think this change in my life was necessarily a negative one, as I got to experience a lot of new things that I may have never had the chance to do. Sure, I had to grow up a bit earlier than your usual child, but I also probably reached a stage of maturity before most.
Even though they might not find out and you can get away with it , never lie to your parents. Sooner or later they may find out. Parents expect you to be honest with them. so you can earn their trust, and, lying to your parents about your location etcetera is not needed. I learned the hard way that honesty is always the best policy with just one night one the town.

I awoke to the sun piercing through the screen of my tent while stretching my arms out wide to nudge my friend Alicia to wake up. “Finally!” I said to Alicia, the countdown is over. As I unzip the screen door and we climb out of our tent, I’m embraced with the aroma of campfire burritos that Alicia’s mom Nancy was preparing for us on her gargantuan skillet. While we wait for our breakfast to be finished, me and Alicia, as we do every morning, head to the front convenient store for our morning french vanilla cappuccino. On our walk back to the campsite we always take a short stroll along the lake shore to admire the incandescent sun as it shines over the gleaming dark blue water. This has become a tradition that we do every morning together
Many little girls dream of their big fairytale wedding with a prince charming of their own. We all have watched and grown up with the classic Disney movies that not only entertain children, but are influenced by what we see. I am guilty of wanting the fairytale wedding, big puffy gown, sparkles, handsome husband and our happily ever after. But what you don’t see is how much time and energy is put into creating your own fairytale wedding. After many months of planning and preparation for this day I was excited, nervous and anxious to carry on with the day that symbolized a new beginning with the love of my life. I was about to make a lifelong commitment to my one true love. Nothing I’ve done has taken so much preparation
