TOP FIVE TRAVEL DESTINATIONS
There are many different tourist attractions all over the world, thus, people have many options to choose from. These places are known for their rich cultural heritage, architectural and historical importance, natural and artificial artistry etc. and offer relaxation, adventures, amusement etc.
The following are my top five most favorite places around the world.
ISTANBUL
Istanbul is one of the major cities in Turkey. It is the financial and commercial capital of Turkey. Its streets are always crowded with both natives and tourists and I must say, it’s no surprise to hear of one getting lost in the city. It is the only city found legitimately at the crossroads of Europe and Asia.
Noted among its many sights are the “Aya Sofya”, otherwise called “Hagia Sophia”- the church of divine wisdom, an originally Christian basilica is now a museum with a broad interior and dazzling patchwork; the Blue Mosque; the Basilica Cistern; the ancient Hippodrome etc.
The streets of Istanbul also houses a lot of restaurants and street food vendors with delicious delicacies. Also to be seen are bars/clubs for visitors ready to shake off their stress with the Turkish rock and pop music. There are in addition grand bazaars for the shopaholics with various fashion tastes.
During the summer one wonders where all the people who
The region lies between the Karakoram mountain range on the north and the Himalayas to the south. This place is known for its unique climate and culture despite its secluded location. Ladakh is a beauty to behold, most people think it’s just a barren land in a godforsaken region. The landscapes are absolutely stunning. It is a mixture of colors of nature from the lush green pastures to the clear blue waters and white capped mountains. It is an especially great place for mountaineers as there are many mountains to

When Emperor Constantine found the city of Constantinople, it was soon to become the capital of the Eastern Roman Empire. But the Christin city needed a great church to represent it’s great value, so the Hagia Sophia was built (Krystek, Lee). The Hagia Sophia was built by the Byzantine Empire in 537 C.E., which was an Empire influenced greatly by the greek and roman styles (Krystek, Lee). It has a square base with a large dome on the top. Round arcs surrounded the large dome, adding mystical beauty to the Hagia Sophia (Krystek, Lee). Also, multiple colors of bricks were used to create patterns on the outside of the Hagia Sophia. On the inside, the walls are made of marble with glass panes which bring beautiful sunlight into the large museum (Krystek, Lee). The Hagia Sophia is very significant because it was rebuilt many times. The first church was built and then burnt down in 404 C.E. (Krystek, Lee). It was then rebuilt and burned down by riots in 502 C.E. (Krystek, Lee). Then the 3rd church was built by Justinian. After long periods of time, Sultan Mehmed conquered Constantinople and changed it to an islamic city, converting the church to a mosque (Krystek, Lee). In 1934, President Ataturk changed the mosque to a museum for the people and tourists, instead of a sacred place of worship (Krystek, Lee).
...e, and a quaint town only five minutes from the national park, there is always something to keep you entertained. As one of the last, nearly intact, temperate ecosystems on Earth it is home to a very unstable, diverse ecosystem. Come to this magnificently beautiful mountain range, and witness all its beauty and serenity first hand.
The country of Turkey, as we know it, has only come about in the last 80 years or so. Before this time, the land of present day Turkey was referred to as Anatolia. Anatolia is considered the bridge that connects the Middle East to Europe. Despite years of occupation by differing nations, the area of present day Turkey has held some consistency and continuity. This continuity is possible because even though many count...
They changed the way the land was used so that they could build a lifestyle off of the mountain. Therefore their villages were not only close to the mountain they were also quite rich. In conclusion The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey, is in my personal opinion, the most connected film to the place and landscape environment. I believe this because J.R.R. Tolkien created a world, so inclusive and real that readers are engulfed in the story.
We reach Pheriche via Kalapatthar. It (Kalapattha) is such place from where you realize the real beauty of mountains. Here you are surrounded by mountains from all side. It is a black rock and a kind of natural vantage point from where you get clear
And down below, on the deep green mountain flanks, a few nomads were watching their yaks grazing,’” but she had not been facing the lake, she was facing toward some rocks and other boring landscape (Sacks 334). Though she completely lost what little vision she had at birth when she was 12, Tenberken was able to envision beautiful landscapes like her version of the Great Salt Lake of Tibet. This Great Salt Lake may not look as beautiful to
Turkey is a country with a vibrant and colorful culture located between Europe and Asia. It has a booming economy of tobacco, cotton, hazelnuts, olives, and livestock. On October 23, 1923, the European land of Thrace and the Asian portion of the land of Anatolia known as the Ottoman Empire became to be the country of Turkey. The Country’s capital changed from Istanbul to Ankara in 1922 after the fall of the Ottoman Empire. The population of Turkey is around 72,907,000 people, mostly made up of Turks and Kurds. For the most part, Turkey’s culture has become very modern and up to date with most technology, internet, mobile data service providers, import and export, entertainment, and access to information. In short, the country’s past has been monumental in both the political, geographical, and biblical standpoint.
Ever since I was a young boy, I have been fascinated with the mountains. I would dream of climbing the highest of peaks with my trusty ice axe or snowboarding down a powdered slope sending a wave of snow with every carve. Spring, summer, fall or winter my fascination did not sway. The beauty of a mountain covered in snow, as if it were covered from top to bottom with a layer of white cotton, is breathtaking. See a backdrop of a sunset on a mountain top and the way the colors will bounce off it is a site you will never see the same way twice.
Istanbul is both an ancient and modern city that is full of culture dating back to the beginning of time. It’s a city that is unique, in that, it connects both Europe and Asia. Istanbul is the largest city in Turkey and the most crowded one too. There are approximately more than fourteen million people living in Istanbul alone. That is more than its capital city of Ankara. Istanbul is not just a metropolitan, or one of the most crowded cities, and it’s also an ancient and historical city.
The solution of this problem is to improve the infrastructure and apply new strategies to attract more tourists. Everyone has a special place that people will never forget. Sometimes it is because there were places that people experienced great joy or comfort. A special place represents peoples’ special memories either good or bad. Memory will following people whole life, and store people’s heart deeper. Good memory will coming all time. My special place and my memory is my grandparent’s house; my grandparent’s house practically is my second home. I would never forget that special place because of things going on my grandparent’s house, which is symbolized by my grandparent’s love.
The biggest draw is that you get to trek in the cold desert valley that is no short of grazing grounds. Moreover, you get amazing views of Ladakh and Zanskar ranges, the 21,000 ft tall Kang Yissay peak along with the 20,086 ft high Stok Kangri peak.
I think we all have a beautiful place in our mind. I have a wonderful place that made me happy a lot of times, years ago. But sometimes I think that I am the only person who likes this place and I'm asking myself if this place will be as beautiful as I thought when I will go back to visit it again. Perhaps I made it beautiful in my mind.
