Peanut dust in the air, shells on the ground, country music blaring overhead, and workers dancing around, Texas Roadhouse is known not only for its delectably delicious food, but also its friendly environment and excellent customer service. It is a restaurant I would definitely recommend to people of all kinds from those looking for somewhere to hang out with friends to a family looking for somewhere to celebrate a birthday or other special occasion or even two people looking for a place to have a casual second or third date. Texas Roadhouse is a popular restaurant, so our small wait (no more than 15 minutes) was nothing to be disappointed about. We got to enjoy the restaurant’s simple wooded look with a variety of wall décor representing Virginia schools. We also got to participate in their traditional birthday “YEE HAW” celebration twice while waiting.
Did you know that the frog species were the first animals with vocal cords? Did you know that seahorses are actually fish not little serpents or mermaids as legend tells us, and that it is the male who becomes pregnant, not the female? Did you know that an area of a rainforest the size of a football field is being destroyed each second? If not, then you should definitively consider making a visit to the National Aquarium in Baltimore. Dramatic architecture and bright outdoor graphics invite you to investigate further this jewel of the city's vital Inner Harbor area. One of the world's largest and most sophisticated aquatic museums, the city's premier tourist attraction re-creates habitats from all over the world to house more than 15,000 sea creatures in over two million gallons of water. Its glass-and-steel pyramid shape is as unusual and stunning as the diverse sea creatures it houses. Most of the exhibits in the aquarium are part of a self-guided tour, so you can learn at your own pace. By using dramatic video, interactive displays and hi-tech graphics to assist you in your tour, the Aquarium not only introduces you to these special little creatures, but also inspires and intrigues you to want to learn even more. Whatever your interests, the National Aquarium provides a fun and educational visit for all!
Have you ever been to Texas? I have been once. My trip to Texas was unbelievably awesome. I saw many of things on my way there. While we were there, I had loads of fun. Many things happened while we were there. Texas was the coolest place I have ever been.
The main neighborhoods in Austin, Texas are South Congress, Central Austin neighborhoods (Tarrytown, Hyde Park, and Clarksville), South Austin neighborhoods (Shady Hollow, Circle C Ranch, and Travis Heights), Northwest Austin neighborhoods (Steiner Ranch and Great Hills), and the area around the campus of the University of Texas. Where I come from, the vast land stretches on for miles, filled with dancing corn and wheat fields. Turn one direction and look at the clouds of dust rising off the gravel road, then turn the other way, that's about all there is to see here. A town of two stop lights. As you are driving, don’t blink, you may miss this little place. Some people may say there isn’t much to miss anyway, but I’d beg to differ. This is the place where I met and grew up with lifelong friends.
Growing up in Vacaville, nestled between the cities of San Francisco and Sacramento in Northern California you got to enjoy the beauty of the outdoors and the creatures that live within it. That mixed with a growing city, new stores and homes being built every year you got a bit of both country living and city life. From cows, and turkeys to deer and geese if you grew up in Vacaville seeing these were a regular occurence. I never did cow tip but I did get the pleasure of seeing a herd of cows break through a fence and block a main road setting traffic back for hours.
Standing on the balcony, I gazed at the darkened and starry sky above. Silence surrounded me as I took a glimpse at the deserted park before me. Memories bombarded my mind. As a young girl, the park was my favourite place to go. One cold winter’s night just like tonight as I looked upon the dark sky, I had decided to go for a walk. Wrapped up in my elegant scarlet red winter coat with gleaming black buttons descending down the front keeping away the winter chill. Wearing thick leggings as black as coal, leather boots lined with fur which kept my feet cozy.
“Keeping up with the Joneses” (Comic, New York Globe 1913) is a well-recognized quote that I never really paid attention to until the day I decided to replace my cellphone with a newer version. The persistence of the television commercials, internet advertisement, posters and even the social media can persuade or even convince an individual that their current item is out of date and in need of the “new and improved” version. I wonder do we really need to replace our items or is it just conspicuous consumption.
Dallas zoo incorporated a lot of different kinds of species: the endangered carnivores, herbivores and wide variety of birds. Since animals are far from their natural habitat, the zoo made every effort to create a replica of their native land [natural habitat]. They also provide the facilities of travelling in a train. The train takes you to an amazing journey through the zoo, where you can clearly spot animals and takes their pictures while enjoying the beautiful landscapes [the zoo created to mimic nature habitat of animals]. During my visit to the Dallas Zoo, I attended Monorail [train that takes you through

When most people think about an eventful or memorable place, they almost certainly would not picture a bus. As we all know, buses are not exactly attractive. The design scheme is the same in almost every bus: rows and rows of brown seats, a thin black aisle down the middle of the bus, hundreds of hazy windows, and the big, lemon-yellow exterior. Not many people, I am sure, would consider buses to be an important part of their lives. However, if a person were to think about it, they would realize that they probably have had at least one memorable experience in their life that took place on a bus.
One might assume Kansas is merely nothing but fields. Endless fields of goldenrod-colored wheat swaying gracefully with the soft wind. Some may also think of Sunflowers. Millions and millions of tiny yellow specks filled with fuzzy bees doing their natural work, giving life to the wonderful little things, but no. Kansas is filled with bright, busy cities and streets too, people from across the globe, and places from museums to small local coffee shops.
Clean off your forks and prepare to be amazed by scrumptious meals and unusual dishes. Within Chicago, you can discover a multi-cultural array of fine dining, unique restaurants and Chicago specialties. Ranging from excellent sushi to french fries and ice cream, these are all dishes that you have to try at least once in your life. Mouth Watering Barbecue Ribs While most people think of the South as the best place for barbecue, Chicago still surprise you.
A diverse landscape filled with palm trees, bars, country clubs and beaches. Where people risk it all to make their way and might find themselves as successful entrepreneurs or just another crab in bucket trying to get to the top, pulling down others in the process. The world looks at San Diego as a paradise, where famous people walk the street and freedom of expression is the way of life. People who visit see this place as an oasis, but knowing the real hustle and bustle of this city life, I had a gnawing sensation with every fiber of my being.
I think we all have a beautiful place in our mind. I have a wonderful place that made me happy a lot of times, years ago. But sometimes I think that I am the only person who likes this place and I'm asking myself if this place will be as beautiful as I thought when I will go back to visit it again. Perhaps I made it beautiful in my mind.
