Zombies are mythical creatures, mostly appreciated in the movies or on television shows. An example is The Walking Dead or World War Z. There are many theories, but most don’t make any sense one that does is it could be received by a virus or a certain parasites that can disable certain parts of the brain. But that not all there is to learn theres more things you need to know if you are even going to have a chance to survive a whole week. Water, food, hideout weapon, done with just that information you will survive about five days! What about the types of zombies like animals, walkers, crawlers, and runners! To begin, there are many great and terrible places my suggestion is to stay away from highly populated areas. The worst place to hide in a zombie apocalypse

would be a Hospital if there is possibly the worst place to go you may find you yourself surrounded by the undead. A good place would be a bank safe it is almost indestructible but you are going to need the combination for that. Now to prepare for a zombie apocalypse you would need the third most important thing a weapon. The best weapon would be a katana and it has to be real not a replica how can you find out? You can smash it to the ground with all your strength and see if it breaks if it does it is not real. A shotgun also works but you would have to replenish ammunition. Also there are suppressors for guns and can be used to silence your gun due to guns being very loud this can attract the undead and the undead can attract even more. Most importantly, even though weapons can be very scarce in zombie apocalypses but you can make your own out metals or tools in your house remember you want something you can be swift with nothing bulky like a sledgehammer.
Another very important thing is a toothbrush and toothpaste because if you did not know not brushing your teeth can actually kill you. Clothes are very nice to bring too because I do not think you will finding a shower or laundry in a zombie apocalypse. Sometimes you will get stuck somewhere like a corner always have a plan before going out for the search of food. And another important thing is teaming up there are pros and cons to teaming up to family members and strangers. For example, strangers you cannot trust them automatically so do not expect the stranger to watch you back all the time. And for family members you can trust them to watch your back but emotions from a death could hold everyone back and may not have much survival experience. Strangers are not reliable but are most likely to have food and supplies to share but, be careful you could be used as bait
too. Furthermore, do not ever I mean ever let emotions stop you from going on this can be very hard if you found a stranger who was very trustworthy and died or a family member this is one of the bigger problems of a zombie apocalypse. Being fit is also another key for survival so you might want to start now if you are not very fit. Sometimes distractions or doing sacrifices can help your team example using an air horn with tape so it is stuck to the trigger. But not doing sacrifices is always the answer you may have to sacrifice if only you do not have a plan to get out of a situation. Proceeding, the day will come were you will eventually die by a bite and figuring out if your bitten is very simple seeing bite marks most likely means you have been bitten. There would also only be to ways out of the infection. One cutting that part of the body though it might not be possible to still survive the infection from cutting the body part it is worth chance. In conclusion, what would describe the zombie apocalypse in one word would be terrifying it still is not the easiest thing to survive even with the necessary materials. Something things are not as important as the others that does not mean you do not need them it just means there not as important. If all goes wrong remember to always have a plan and be prepared for every situation. So as long as you follow these rules you will survive the zombie apocalypse!

With the zombie metaphor referring to uncontrollable fears in today’s modern society, the thriller is a realistic speculation about an airborne virus entering the human species and spreading on a global scale. With influenza outbreaks being a familiar scenario within modern society, the fear of an uncontrollable disease sends shockwaves of fear through the human race, especially when a vaccine has yet to be found and distributed, like in the film. The fear of a viral infection spreading stems from the idea that people do not simply “give” another individual the virus; a virus is a form of life that evolves and mutates in order to survive environmental changes. This virus searches for a new vulnerable host in order to survive and carry the disease to the next victim. The critical aspect around the spread of a virus is how drastically the reproduction process occurs. Without being controlled, the contamination throughout any species causes the spread to take place in a toxic way, “On day one, there were two people. And then, four and then, sixteen. In three months, it’s a billion. That’s where we’re heading” (Dr. Erin Mears, Contagion). Though the zombie metaphor focuses primarily on fear involving unconscious contributors and their mission of adding to their population, the fear of governmental control and how society responds to the epidemic is also an issue that needs to be considered. In this scenario, the viral
Choosing the right weapon can make a difference between a dead zombie or becoming one yourself. Always keep a weapon on you or around you at all times. Maybe even more than one. Some weapons include a gun, knife, bow and arrow, and any sharp object any item around you could mean life or death. Fighting a zombie is not only dangerous but it’s suicidal. If your weapons are out of reach you will have to fight them off. Use blankets and pillows to wrap your legs, torso, and arms so it is harder for the zombies to get
“Because the living dead freeze solid” (122), when word starting to get out that there were zombies, people’s first instinct was to go north. Family after family packed their belongings and ventured to campsites throughout northern Canada or wherever they felt was cold enough to escape the plague. Many people were still trying to hold on to their materialistic ways and brought “hair dryers, GameCubes, [and] laptops by the dozen” (123) with them to the campsites. These families realized very quickly that these items were not beneficial for their survival. Those that did survive the cold Canadian winters were not those who brought the most belongings, but those who had the will power to survive. As days got colder, people were forced to steal from each other, kill each other, and eventually eat each other. The only way to succeed during this brutal time was to go into this ultimate survival mode. “Eventually the sun did come out, the weather began to warm, the snow finally began to melt” and those that were left were the ones that were had the determination to survive (129).
A zombie is a monster that has been a horror movie legacy for many years now. Zombie is defined as “a dead person who is able to move because of magic according to some religions and in stories, movies, etc.” Zombies haven’t always been the creature that we see today though. George A. Romero merged the old-forgotten zombie into the standardized version we see today. James Conroy writes, “With his 1968 film Night of the Living Dead, George Romero brought the concept of the slow-moving, flesh-eating zombie into mainstream American culture.”
The idea of a zombie is made up and it comes from nzambi, the Kongo word for the spirit of a dead person. In states such as Louisiana, or the Creole culture they believe zombies represent a person who has dies and brought back to life with no speech. Kings psychological argument on how we have an urge to watch horror movies because it helps to re-establish our feelings and feel natural again. Klusterman’s sociological essay helped us see the comparison of zombies and humans in real life. In conclusion zombies are not real, they are make believe but help bring a sense of normality to
Zombies have become very popular due to their depictions of being easy to kill and being communal. Zombie apocalypses are also very relatable due to the fact that they are set in lives similar to our society and seem easy to overcome. Zombies, themselves, can be identified with because we see ourselves when we look at a zombie. Zombies drudge on through the same task of finding human flesh to consume every day just like we drag ourselves to either class or our job in order to sit through another boring lecture or perform the same menial task every day. Just like the zombie, R, in the book, Warm Bodies, said, “I am Dead, but it’s not so bad. I’ve learned to live with it,” we have learned to succumb to our daily routines and just live with
If you want to know to survive the zombie apocalypse here is some useful tips. One, use a silent weapon, preferably a knife unless you have to use a gun. Two, adapt to your surroundings and use them against your enemies alive or dead. Three, buddy system the more the merrier. Four, no matter what, you are surely going to need canned food because the rest is probably going to be rotten. Five, repopulation even if it sounds nasty about 9/10 of the human population is going to be zombies, but be careful babies can attract zombies. Six, be a hero because those people screaming for help are precious for survival. These are all very important rules, but here are some really important tips.
It is possible for a person to achieve a sense of normality, to move past and cope with the after-math of traumatic experiences being faced with during the zombie apocalypse. The basics have to be met first, such as a secure environment, a steady source of food and water, and people to trust and interact with. Once all is achieved, the person can find a source of support with other survivors who have experienced the same trauma, share the same stories and fears, and learn together to cope with reality. Learning to work together and live together is key to
In the field of philosophy, zombies are imaginary creatures that are used to illuminate problems regarding consciousness and its relation to the physical world. As compared to those in witchcraft or films, zombies are exactly like human beings in every physical aspect but without conscious experiences. However, zombies behave like humans and some of them even spend considerable amount of time discussing consciousness. While few people believe in the existence of zombies, many state that they are at least conceivable, and some argue that they are possible. Consequently, there are arguments that if zombies are increasingly a bare possibility, then some kind of dualism is true and physicalism is false.

Zombies have a virus that can be transmitted through blood and bites. Later in season two, they go even farther and discover that everyone is already infected, alive or dead. Everyone (alive or dead) carries this virus and its in a matter of time that they will become a walker. If you die, or even get bit by a zombie you will become a zombie. It goes back to reservoirs. “When an animal is a reservoir for an infection, they don’t present the disease. The macaques that carry the deadly herpes B virus don’t die horribly from herpes B. Similarly, following what we know about viruses, a human that already carries the zombie virus would not die instantly from another injection of it. If everyone in The Walking Dead already carries the virus, getting bit would be just a bite. You can’t infect the infected. But you could envenomate
1. Own a gun: You'll never survive the zombie apocalypse if all you have as a weapon is a butter knife. Although handy for spreading jam on toast, it will not help you kill a zombie. Go out and buy yourself a fancy gun. Maybe two. During the next few months, it will be your new best friend.
Now a days you can ask anyone in America and they will tell you exactly what their plan is for "the" zombie apocalypse. Each one is just as elaborately genius as the last; some involve underground bunkers to tripped out mad max style cars and trucks, (if you can even call them that) or just running away screaming in panic. Well fortunately for you last guys, a zombie apocalypse is no where near scientifically possible. Not only just because it would take a biological miracle to pull it off, but because of good old mother nature looking out after us... right?
