4.4 ANALYSIS OF RELEVANT RESEARCH QUESTION
Q1. What is the level of dental health education awareness among student in secondary schools as table 4.3 stated that 230(43%) says they have health care services in their school. Also tables 4.16 strongly agree that dental health education can improve the dental condition of students in their schools. Q2. To what extent will an effective dental health education promote oral hygiene of student?
Table 4.16 reveals that 413(91.13%) of the respondents agrees that dental health education can improve the dental condition of students.
Table 4.8 shows how many times each group of students can brush then 350(5%) of the respondents were satisfied with the level of dental health education in their schools. …show more content…

Therefore, nurses, dentist, should embarked on health care delivery campaign to enlighten the people and the society at large.
• This study serves as a guide to health care delivery and the social worker on the need for oral health education.

5.2 RECOMMENDATIONS
The following recommendation was made to chance oral dental health education in schools.
i. Dental health education should be introduced in the nursery, primary, and secondary public to cultivate the habit of seeking for dental health care as soon as the need arise. ii. Dental health education should be taken to the door step of everybody (home) for proper awareness. iii. Every student should at least visit a dental clinic every six months for routine checkup develop the attitude of accepting dental prosthesis, orthodontic appliances at the point of loose of any oral tissue tooth/teeth without being persuaded. iv. Government should try and establish at least one dental centre in each government secondary school.
v. There is the need for secondary schools to empty dental professionals for adequate teaching of oral health care to the students vi. There should be enough dental propagandas health talk, over radio, television, seminar, exhibitions etc.
