Using the murder of Dee Ann’s mother as a means to intertwine the lives of the characters together, Steve Yarbrough examines the nature of relationships in “The Rest of Her Life.” The relationships in the story take a turn after Dee Ann’s mother is killed, with characters seeking to act more on their own, creating distance between many relationships throughout the story. Independent lifestyles prevent emotional bonds that hold relationships together from forming, thus preventing the characters from maintaining healthy relationships. The dysfunctional relationship present between Dee Ann and Chuckie in “The Rest of Her Life” is the result of the characters ' desire for self-gratification.
When artists go through an emotional down fall in there career’s you see some stars fall and other’s reflect to back when it all started to better themselves. As Katy Perry stated in her interview with U.S.A Today Prism is “less over-the-top and more “me””. I have come to realize that when artist put out an album, it isn’t just to see how many copies they can sell but it’s about making music with feelings, getting into there inner self and reaching out to those who admire them, the social text of the music is the heart of every song and the album altogether. A lot of the time artist will write about their emotions but never really behind the sense of what occurred. Here I will take two artists and break down there trails and show how they made them into triumphs through the context of there music. I will describe how these artist were able to create pieces of music that took over a particular emotion and were able to get it’s point across to the listener. These artists will be Katy Perry, and Britney Spears.
The song Drew Barrymore was written by an artist by the name of SZA in January of 2017. Before the songstress appeared on the pop scene, the name “Madonna” was used in reference to the Christian Mother of God. The original “Madonna” was the symbol of Roman Catholicism and Western Christianity. Madonna the entertainer however proved she was unlike this original female figure. She violated all the innocent icons of religion and femininity and by using the phrase “like a virgin” she began a long string of inserting religious, political and sexual references into the world of pop music.
The pop music stars that fascinates me… I have many, such as Justin Bieber, Demi Lovato, Austin Mahone, Ariana Grande, and Tori Kelly. But, for today I will go into depth with the male being Justin Bieber and the female being Demi Lovato. Many people wonder, so many times from time and time again what do I see in these artist. Well to be honest, they have a story that made them who they are today, which is a strong, independent, calm, and inspirational person. Take Justin Bieber for instance, many people find him impulsive and immature from the events that have occurred in the past up until now. Everyone knows about the Miami incident that occurred a year and 7 months ago. He’s showing many that he’s taken the consequences with what he did

All three girls’ different stories and struggles they face.

A far-reaching line of men bearing gifts await their judgement whether they are truly hers or not and meet their doom. In “Dark Horse” by Katy Perry the video takes the perspective of the mate less Queen, uses descriptive diction from the lyrics of the song, and symbolic imagery to convey the message that men are to beware of a powerful woman.

According to The Stanford Encyclopedia of Philosophy, there are many different kinds of feminist (Haslanger 1). You do not have to follow any guides lines to consider being a feminist.
