Success can come from anything. My definition of success is wealth. First, more or less its money and fortune. Second, a great successor, Steve jobs. Last, another marvelous successor is bill gates. Therefore, success can come from anything that makes someone wealthy. First of all, wealth can get people a lot of places very quickly. Take starting a business and selling things that people want and what I mean by that is that to sell things that the economy has a higher demand for like gas or milk, cars, lawn mowers, bread, ingredients for making a cake, car parts and school supplies such as pencils, paper, book bags, notebooks, and so on. Another thing is cloths like shoes, shirts, pants even glasses. Things that people that live around here would have a greater use for. To sun it up, no madder what it is as long as it has a high demand in the area a business will do well. …show more content…
Second of all, a fantastic illustration, Steve jobs.
Steve jobs was the creator of apple witch is phones, tablets, and computers. This goes along with the higher demand for things, a lot of people have phones and computers. Because of his business he has become one of the richest men in the world. Staidly he is now dead but the business that he has left behind is still producing new products for the public. Jobs adopted and raised in San Francisco and briefly attended Reed College and finally he dropped out he then traveled through India in 1974. Given these points, jobs started out like anyone else finished school went to college for a while and traveled to parts of the world, like I said before he started out like anyone else he just knew where to look for
success. Last of all to emphasize another very successful person, bill gates. Bill gates is an American business magnate, entrepreneur, investor, author, and philanthropist. In 1975, gates and Paul Allen co-founded Microsoft, which became the world’s largest pc software company. He is also the creator of Xbox witch is a very wide gaming production. This also goes along with the higher demand in the area I know of a lot of people that play videogames. This business also led him to becoming one of the richest men in the world. Born in Seattle, Washington, bill gates began to show an interest in computer programing at a young age. As a child gates was very competitive, curious, and a depth thinker. This no doubt had to of helped his industry tremendously. All in all people that become inventers like that usually get a lot of money so if someone wants to become successful be an inventer. In conclusion, my definition of success is wealth. First, money can get people places really quick. Second, a good illustration is Steve jobs the creator of apple. Last, another successful person is Bill Gates the creator of Microsoft and Xbox. Success can come from anything.
Success can be an extremely broad subject. There is an abounding amount of different views on what the “true” definition of success is. Personally, I believe that success is finding happiness. Success is waking up in the morning and not having to worry about whether or not the bills are going to be paid this month. Success is having a job that you enjoy going to every day. Success is having friends and family who love and support you. Success does not mean that one has to be exceedingly rich or have a lakeside mansion. As long as they are happy, they have succeeded in life.
´´ If one advances confident in the direction of his dreams, and endeavors to live the life he imagined, he will meet with a success unexpected in common hours. ’’ These words were spoken by Henry David Thoreau.Success is within the mind of the individual. A large portion of one´s life is spent working to become successful. People are told throughout childhood to work hard so they can grow up and achieve all of their dreams. But success takes many different forms. Different people have different interpretations of what success means to them. It does not matter how related they are to each other in certain áreas they always have a different point of view of what success really is. For some success is measured by social status and wealth
Success is within the mind of the individual. A large portion of ones life is spent working to become successful. People are told throughout childhood to work hard so they can grow up and make lots of money. But success takes many different forms. Different people have different interpretations of what success means to them. For some, success is measured by social status and wealth; for others success is determined only by the amount of happiness one feels.
'One has achieved success who has lived well and laughed often.'; This quote seems to sum up what is meant by success. If you are able to laugh often and much then you have definitely achieved happiness. The idea of living well, though, is a very broad statement. In order, then, to define success in relation to this statement, we must first define what it means to live well. There are three levels of success, in my opinion: societal success, personal success, and academic or professional success. If someone can achieve all of these three levels of success, they are someone who has lived well.
Success only truly comes with being happy. Happiness and success are the accomplices of one another. Someone cannot have accompanies without the other. Happiness brings success, and success brings even more happiness. Success, in the dictionary, is defined as the achievement of something desired planned or attempted. Therefore, success cannot be judged by anyone than oneself. It is a personal thing. It is the realization of goals, desires or plans made by one 's self. It is not measurable and yet is something we always use to compare others or appraise someone 's worth. Success, in one form or another, is something that someone should always be striving for. For some people it is something they will do subconsciously, and for others it will be something they will constantly labor for. Because success is something that is different for everyone, it is best that they measure their personal success by their sense of self worth instead of others. To have succeeded is to have lived, as someone wanted; ' it is to have lived well and laughed
Steve Jobs is an American business man who had a passion for perfection. He also was not afraid to fail, but every time he failed he would improve on the product that he was planning on making. In the book that Walter Isaacson wrote about Steve Jobs mostly explains what he went through to make the products that we know of today (Isaanson, 2011). He had a really good passion for great excellence, and insisted on elegant design and simplicity. All in all he is a very successful business leader in our society today.
Ever since the times of the BC era, wealth had defined success (Definition of Success). A wealthy person of those times would be looked at as a superior being, they would be someone you’d show respect for. They were successful. Although that's the definition of success back then, does it mean something different now? Like every human being, and every past structure of society, the word evolves with time because society's’ values change. The definition of the word “success” was often considered as the achievement of wealth, but now it has become modernized to fit into today's society. Today, success is thought as an individual doing what makes them happy in life, generally doing their best, or even contributing positive things to the world to make it a better place (What does success mean).
Steve Jobs once said, “The only way to do great work is to love what you do,” and he did just that. He was born on February 24, 1955 in San Francisco, California to Joanna Schieble and John Jandali, who were both unmarried at the time of Jobs’ birth. Joanna’s father did not agree with her being pregnant outside of marriage, so Joanna left before the baby was born and decided to put her newborn son up for adoption. John Jandali, the biological father, never had the chance to meet his son. Several years down the road, the couple married each other and had a daughter, Mona, who is now a successful writer. Paul and Clara Jobs married ten days after they first met and like most newlyweds, they both wanted children, but Clara had an ectopic pregnancy and could no longer bear children so they adopted the young boy shortly after. He is currently known to many people as the man who founded the iPhone and made life much easier. He created much more than just the iPhone, but his life was not always successful. He was adopted, a dropout, fired, and much more, but most importantly, he was an inventor
Steve jobs changed the world by creating Apple, inc, that made products that were revolutnary for there time period. He won several awards for his inventions, he died of pancreatic cancer. Steve jobs was the co-founder of apple with Stephen Wozniak. Steve jobs got fired from apple in 1984. He then started a new business called NeXT computer that made special computers for education and businesses. NeXT computers failed so he bought Pixar in 1986. Steve jobs created the ipad that came out in 2010 it is a cross between a iMac and a Iphone.
From being a college drop out to a wealthy entrepreneur, Steve Jobs was a famous inventor and CEO of one of the largest technology companies of the 21st century, Apple Inc. Jobs was a computer smart inventor who knew how to put his brains to good use but under the constraints of a boss there were limits put on his imagination. Being that he lived in a country of free enterprise, Jobs was able to go off and start his own business. The free enterprise system allows producers and consumers to make their own economic decisions. Where you want to work, what you want to sell, or what you want to buy for example.
Steve Jobs lived in close proximity to Stanford, allowing him to be engrained in the new tech hub of the United States, allowing him to meet tech-hippy people like himself. Thus, he was introduced to Steve Woznikak, a programmer who would assist jobs in creating Apple. The two college kids incorporated the company in Jobs’ garage in Los Altos, California. Even though Jobs had knack for internal innovation, he needed assistance to bring Apple to the forefront of the tech boom during the late 1970’s. Jobs had the mindset of a brilliant marketer and in my opinion (saw how technology could adapt through time and eventually change the way humans interact with each other); however, Jobs was very spiritual and at times lost touch with reality. To counter this ...
"If one advances confidently in the direction of his dreams, and endeavors to live the life which he has imagined, he will meet with a success unexpected in common hours" (Henry David Thoreau 356). Success is a word that is frequently used throughout one’s life. Starting at a young age is when the word first starts getting thrown around. Depending on who is asked the the idea of what success is and it's meaning may differ, however the concept will still be the same. In truth, every person at one point in their life has striven to be successful.
The beginning of Steve Job's life was quite unfortunate. His biological parent gave hip up on adoption the day he was born. He was then adopted by Paul and Clara Jobs. Instead of playing fetch with his dad, Steve and his father worked on electronics in their garage and that was the beginning of Steve Jobs’ love for electronics. When he was 13, he was called by Bill Hewett and he was offered a summer job at HP factory. He invented 'blue box' with Steve Wozniak where people can make phone calls for free. He dropped out of college at the age of 19. He then stole the credit for his friend's invention (game). He lied to both Atari and his friend, Steve Wozniak, by telling Atari that he made the game and told Wozniak that Atari only gave him $700 when he actually received $5000 from Atari. A few years later, he tried to find enlightenment in India and became a Buddhist i...
What is success? The definition of success can differ amongst many people. Some believe that having a large amount of money, owning a luxurious house, owning the latest fashion, having the current technology and cars, is the key to success. Others believe that overcoming hardships achieves a measure of accomplishments. Success, in my opinion, means seeing a goal, understanding the obstacles, creating a positive mental picture, clearing the mind of self-doubt, embracing the challenge, staying on track, and showing the world that it is not impossible to achieve anything. True success requires respect, acknowledgement, honesty, and perseverance which are all qualities that, by human nature, are indeed challenging to acquire.
Success takes many different definitions. People have different interpretations of what success really means. For me is as simple as: living well and laughing often. The idea of living well is a very broad statement. Living well, in my opinion is getting success in personal, social and professional life. If I can achieve all of these three levels of success, I believe that I have lived well.
