Trust is defined as a firm belief in the reliability of truth or strength of a person or thing; also trust is defined as a confident expectation. Trust is the foundation of any relationship. Without trust, relationships and friendships fail; basically there is no close relationship at all, more like an acquaintance. A house, for example, needs proper foundation and support in order to prevent collapsing. Much like a house, relationships need the foundation of trust to retain from collapsing. There are people in this world that gain other’s trust and use it against them just to get what they want. These times are hard to decipher the kind of people that are trustworthy. Most that get involved with people like this end up hurt and alone.

Johnny is a very well respected Hollywood actor and has become wise over his years. This quote is full of truth and is really thought provoking. People that you know are dishonest are hard to trust to do something, but at least you know that they are not trustworthy. Someone that you believe is trustworthy may be a dishonest person and you do not know it. So you put your trust in them and they take advantage of your trust and betray you. That is not always the case, but sadly it does happen more than you would know.
