What event brings a crowd to a mega sized event that roars louder than a concert? How this phenomena became one of the most popular sports that involves numerous amount of physicality? To answer both questions only requires two words.
American Football.
Now don’t be confused on the word football, since I am not talking about “soccer” at all. Football which is otherwise known as the NFL or the National Football League, is an American based sport that involves thirty-two teams from cities all over the country that compete against each other through strategy and strength in order to reach one goal; to win the Super Bowl.
To describe football, regulation requires that teams win by earning the most points than the opposing team like shooting hoops in basketball or running to home plate in baseball. During the process of the game, either team will play in offense or defense in order to gain or prevent points. Being a fan give football meaning and importance on why this game excites everyone. Within the colossus size of a stadium, holds the heart of the image of football. Traditionally, spectators sit on rows of seats, eating, drinking, or even talking to spectators as the game rages on in the stadium. But, not only spectators can watch these games personally up close, but they can also be at a sports bar, a restaurant, or even at their home. Tailgating is one of the most popular ways of celebrating football by enjoying the game while cooking and serving delicious food like flavorful hamburgers, grilled hot dogs, tender barbecue, and much more. Created by the loyal fans, tailgating became a part of the experience in the tradition of football.
