Success means to accomplish something you want in life. Every person wants to be successful in life, yet, everyone interprets the success in a different way. For some people, success means a lot of money, for others is to have a family. As long as a person feels happy about their accomplishments, and dreams, then this could be considerate a success. People would consider that someone had achieved success is when someone graduates from college, received a promotion that they always sought, or have social status and wealth.
Success does not come easily; people have to work for it, such as students must work hard to achieve their dream to graduate from college. When children are little, they have been told that they must do well in school in order to be successful. This will continue through college years. If students were working hard by doing all their homework, studying, and doing the best they can on exams, and then they will receive good grades, which will lead to a more successful life. Students who worked hard and accomplished good grades are more likely to find a better paying job, which will be their next step of success. When students work hard, most likely they will become successful.

However, first, to be successful people must like and care what they do for a living. Then, they must believe in themselves that they can have success. This is not an easy task because the ones who want a promotion also must to achieve the best working ethics, and respect from other employees. Without those respectable personal ethics, a person cannot be successful at work. To receive a promotion that is truly successful, people will have to demonstrate the knowledge, respect, and
Success can be an extremely broad subject. There is an abounding amount of different views on what the “true” definition of success is. Personally, I believe that success is finding happiness. Success is waking up in the morning and not having to worry about whether or not the bills are going to be paid this month. Success is having a job that you enjoy going to every day. Success is having friends and family who love and support you. Success does not mean that one has to be exceedingly rich or have a lakeside mansion. As long as they are happy, they have succeeded in life.
...use of this issue. Even I prefer learning for my own pleasure over school work, but this competition is what molds students into high-achieving individuals. Having to work up to a deadline, conducting research, and collaborating with peers for group projects are all necessary tasks in the "real world". It is true that success can be achieved without school, but school is only one of the many pathways an individual can choose in order to become educated. School provides students with the ability to strive in the real word by providing them with the knowledge and skills necessary to succeed. When asked what I am studying for, I can say that I am studying to become someone who can make a difference. I may not enjoy the stress and anxiety that comes with school, but I cherish the fact that school is providing me with the knowledge and skills I need to further my dreams.
The article “How to Be a Success” by Malcom Gladwell speaks about how success is something that can be achieved if you put the time and work into it, and how success is not achieved overnight but rather through long hours of constant practice. His article is targeted to more than one group of individuals. The groups of individuals that his article targets are teenage students, young adults, adults, people who want to become an expert, or want to succeed in something they have an interest in and in general society. Another article also related to the success of an individual “An A+ Student Regrets His Grades” by Afraj Gill describes how in society many schools focus more on students’ grades, rather than their learning, and how a student is

Successful is a simple word, however, the meaning of this word changes quite often. Each person has a different definition of success and that definition can change depending on the situation. Bob Dylan once wrote, “A man is a success if he gets up in the morning and gets to bed at night and in between does what he wants to do.” This a very broad definition of success and should not be used. The definition of success should be “the pursued goals have been adequately accomplished.”
We are successful by how high our work ethic is and what our expectation is in the class or with a specific teacher. How can you succeed if someone will praise you for any amount of work. Classes are based upon the first impression of the teacher in the beginning of the year. I know that I have easy classes and hard classes, normally that is based not upon the subject we are studying but upon the teacher's expectation and work load given. Students need to learn achievement for their days out of high school, teacher’s approval and to have a drive in life.
To succeed in college and in high school I am willing to put in the effort of studying, reviewing past material that I do not understand, and the homework assigned to me. If receiving an “A” in a class means that it is necessary to study every night, than I am willing to do so. If I need to re-read chapter notes to get a good grade on an Exam I will do so because working hard and pushing through, however tired or stressed I will put the dedication into what I am doing. College is a great deal different than high school, so if it demands more from, which it has, I am w For school I am going to put everything I have to offer into my
The true definition of success is the accomplishment of an aim or purpose. Although, many people have different perceptions of success. Success is judged by the individuals themselves. Success can be defined in many ways including: wealth, happiness, fame, etc. Success can be anything from material goods to concepts. It all depends on your concept and how you achieve your goals. You have to have persistence within yourself. Varying on your profession, you will need a certain skill level. Your definition of success can be suitable best for you, but not for others. It is about truly not giving up, reaching your full potential, and self-fulfillment.
Being successful is getting what you optate. Every student in their life has a desire to be successful. They work strenuously to be prosperous. Students consider only studying and fixating on the course work will be enough for their prosperity and they exert themselves strenuously for their prosperity, but they fail. Despite of their endeavor, they miss something and fail.
Schools and universities are the most important part in the human’s life. Because these parts determine what their job is going to be for the rest of their lives. To put it more simply, so many students study so hard to an A grade in every subject but these days schools and universities don’t give an A grades to students easily. Students try hard to please their parents and themselves, to be proud with what grade they get because they tried their best. These days, grades are not easy to get even if they try their best and study as hard as they won’t get the grade they deserve.
Wouldn’t you rather succeed due to the drive you have for yourself instead of worldly motives? A reward for trying in school may seem quite adulate. Not to mention, the more important and desirable money becomes with these misguided intentions. Also, the struggle for students to obtain good enough grades may lead to mental health issues with the heavy workloads. For instance, some may become extreme perfectionists.
I have succeeded in school ever since I was little. I didn’t have to work hard to receive good grades, making my life stress-free. I was pretty smart, and understanding the subject came easy for me. Good grades have been my prominent goal throughout most of my education. Because school had been so easy for me, I had to take a step back and ask myself, “Why am I in school?” Before high school, I would have answered, “To get good grades,” but something changed when I got to high school. Some of my classes were becoming more challenging. It was no longer all about the grades, but the lessons I learned in these classes. Grades are still very important to me, but if it were only about the grade, I would have missed out on the learning experiences that helped shape who I am today. Most high school students don’t notice what their classes are really teaching them; until my junior year, I was the same way.
So much, that students feel obligated to succeed their parents' expectations. For this reason, they comply to worker harder to fulfill a high paying profession. However, students sacrifices take upon their mental and physical health as they aim to reach unrealistically high. Therefore, for the sake of finding real success, students should embrace failure and understand that there is no right way to exceed in life. Afterall, whether students choose to go to college or not, college should not be obliged rather seen as an opportunity to grow and enhance new ideas that will strengthen our viewpoints and
s a human, I am bound to experience a life that is full of hardships and obstacles. Throughout my life, I realized that school caused the majority of these problems. One of the most crucial things we were taught as children was to work really hard, paying off later in our lives. I always wondered about this advice. Since my young mind was always curious, I tended to wander from the importance of hard work. When I progressed through different levels of education, life-changing occasions taught me the true reason why we were taught to work hard.
Success may be defined in many ways by many people. According to Oxford English Dictionary, it is, “the prosperous achievement of something attempted.”(“Success”). That is, if one achieve his/her desire or goals, it would be considered as his/her success. But it is true that the definition and explanation varies according to the eye of beholder. Generally, Success means fulfilling the goals that you set for your life. For some, success may be money, big house and a luxury car. However, for others, success may be the happiness they feel after achieving their goal. I personally feel, success is not what is accomplished, but what is felt from
