Some people think success is all about fortune, fame, and money. In my viewpoint success is not about the fame, fortune, and money, success is working hard and not being scared to fail or lose. “In order to succeed, your desire for success must be greater than your fear of losing.” A successful person is not scared to fail and does not let losing bring them down but rise them up.
Some successful and accomplished Soccer players that I look up to are Cristiano Ronaldo, Lionel Messi, and Gabriel Jesus. These three all have something in common, they all grew up on the streets with little money and they had to work for the positions they are in now. They had to train and work really hard. One reason they stand out from all the other soccer players in the world is because they took risks not knowing if they would fail or succeed. For example, Ronaldo was only 16 when he had been chosen to play for Manchester United. He had to move away from his family and live on his own. He was determined to succeed even though he did not know what would happen. Gabriel Jesus in 2014 was sweeping the streets of brazil and cleaning trash for money. Three years later in 2017 he was playing for Manchester City, one of the best clubs in Europe. This shows you what hard work and a desire to succeed does to people. These professional soccer players showed me that success is

When I was in 5th grade, I tried out for the Georgia Soccer ODP team. I made it to the second tryout, but I did not make the team. I was sad for a little bit, but then I was offered a second chance. I made the most of the second chance and did not let fear of failing get in my head, and I made the team. In addition, last year I switched clubs to play with some of the best kids in my area. I moved taking a risk to succeed for the game I love. I worked really hard and trained to be where I am
´´ If one advances confident in the direction of his dreams, and endeavors to live the life he imagined, he will meet with a success unexpected in common hours. ’’ These words were spoken by Henry David Thoreau.Success is within the mind of the individual. A large portion of one´s life is spent working to become successful. People are told throughout childhood to work hard so they can grow up and achieve all of their dreams. But success takes many different forms. Different people have different interpretations of what success means to them. It does not matter how related they are to each other in certain áreas they always have a different point of view of what success really is. For some success is measured by social status and wealth
Each of these players grew up poor in less-than-ideal circumstances. Inspired by a ball, they rose to the top of a sport and gave back to the communities they came from and people who may have even struggled more than they did. The soccer ball represents more than just a physical object. It is passion, determination, reminiscence, and community. The ball creates a whole world for athletes, fans, and others to enjoy and even goes so far as to drive the success of major
Success means to live a life in alignment with what brings us real joy. In my case, “success-joy” comes in many guises. At times, in being persistent with my current dreams, others, investing time and energy in what makes my life shine, and that is, without a doubt, when my life is at service of humanity and when I cultivate happy and healthy close relationships. I tend to define success as a state of being, a constant process of unfolding rather than a place to arrive. It is the journey of getting to know ourselves, in order to fully occupy every aspect of what we are; a forever changing aspiration, a state of being in which we realize that life’s greatest rewards spring from our capacity to relate to adversity in innovative ways. I have also discovered that real success shows up again when we debunk and deconstruct every single stereotype and assumption we have about ourselves. In this way, we feel capable to challenge what is commonly accepted as wisdom and then we have the opportunity to change and integrate our values with greater ones. There is an enormous joy when we feel free to play with the possible new scenarios that our imagination and creativity compelled us to try. A successful state of being is alert and grounded within us with the certainty, that the choices we embark on are in resonance with what we consider is the truth of what we are in that precise
To many people, success means the accomplishment of an aim or purpose. But what it really means is more than just that; is having a beautiful and amazing family of two boys and one girl, and having the best wife. Also, success means reaching my goals or dreams, like starting my new manufacturing and insurance business and keep working hard because in order to reach things I must be ready to fall and rise up. But like I said, to obtain where I want to be I’ll first need to finish college having my Bachelor in Accounting and start from zero. I never in my life thought that I was going to come this far because of what I lived when I was a little kid.
Even though you may think you can succeed without a plan, every decision made will either help or hinder success because all actions have consequences and people who take personal responsibility succeed. Success to one person is not always the same to another, we all have our own definitions of success. To some, success may mean money and wealth. To others good health. To one it may mean a great job or doing a job they love. And to another a great family and home life. Whatever our definition of success, it is important to find out what the means to you. I remember being nine years old, and like any other elementary school kid my mother had me playing soccer. Most kids don’t play soccer with the intention of continuing, and neither did I. When I was nine though, something clicked, and it started with one day, one moment, and one decision that changed who I could’ve been as a person today.
Even from a young age, I have never been a person to sit around: I have always tried to stay busy and put my best work forward. Sports are a testament to my work ethic. I have been involved in sports for a long time, and even though I play because I love the sport, I am able to succeed because I give maximum effort. Soccer, inpaticual is a great example of drive towards success. Every day at practice, I am the first one on the feild and the last one to leave.
As a Senior and team Captain, I learned to be a role model and set good examples. Finally, I learned the importance of how to keep track of my social life, my school life, and my soccer life. Juggling all three of these things was a daunting challenge at times while each held their own importance in my life. Soccer taught me about time management and learning to prioritize different areas in my
Success is within the mind of the individual. A large portion of ones life is spent working to become successful. People are told throughout childhood to work hard so they can grow up and make lots of money. But success takes many different forms. Different people have different interpretations of what success means to them. For some, success is measured by social status and wealth; for others success is determined only by the amount of happiness one feels.
Successful is a simple word, however, the meaning of this word changes quite often. Each person has a different definition of success and that definition can change depending on the situation. Bob Dylan once wrote, “A man is a success if he gets up in the morning and gets to bed at night and in between does what he wants to do.” This a very broad definition of success and should not be used. The definition of success should be “the pursued goals have been adequately accomplished.”
Success is a term used by almost every individual person on this green and blue planet that we call Earth. Whether it is parents, college professors, teachers, bosses, co-workers, and inspirational speakers, they all apply this word to everyday life, however what does it truly mean? Success is a noun that, by definition, stands for “the accomplishment of an aim or purpose.” Although this is the official definition, society has a different definition for the phrase success. Society has defined the phrase success as being wealthy, having quite a few material items, having a stable well-paying job, and a healthy family as a side bonus. There are members of society
Although I may not be a star player when it comes to soccer, some moments are permanently etched into my mind. Achievements that could only be executed by me, even if it’s been stumbled upon centuries ago, I’ve had the honor of doing them myself. When I was 7, I played with females
Even today Pele’s story of rags to riches inspire young kids to chase their dreams and never give

When I was younger, I would win plenty of accomplishments from soccer, like trophies, they weren’t just participation trophies, one year in U-12 I won best midfielder of the competition. That made me feel so good for myself, made me feel like I was a great factor for the team. Made me feel on top of the world, and if I would’ve kept playing soccer, since a young age, I guarantee right now I would be one hell of a
