Success is something everyone is capable of; you just have to do your best when your best is required. Succeeding in anything you do is addictive, once you have that feeling; you want it again and again. Once that success turns into failure, your success becomes even greater when it is accomplished. Success provides us with confidence in ourselves and makes us feel proud and happy of our achievements. People who are successful are very visible, they are notice by everyone and so are their achievements. Just think people who are very successful, have many people that look up to them or think extremely highly of them. Success should never be taken lightly because in life you need to strive for something and succeeding can make that real. People …show more content…
In my life I see my success as very high, I’m the type of person that never backs down from a challenge. If I fail at what I’m doing I get right back in it and try even hard to achieve whatever I’m doing. I’m basically a perfectionist and want everything to be right and never want to give up on anything I start. In my high school career I have always been a pretty well put together student, and work very hard at whatever I do. My homework is always on, on time. I hate being late and I think that is what has led to a lot of my success is that I do things on time and so them the right way. I’m a very hard worker which has also helped me in my athletics in high school. Through the first two years of my high school basketball career my team wasn’t very successful, but we never gave up on each other. Day in and day out we all worked our hardest until that next year all the hard work ended up paying off in the end. We had made it to state, surprising everyone and ourselves. This just goes to show that success doesn’t happen overnight it takes time and energy, all you do is have to keep at it and in time it will some. If someone happened to be better than me in a position I would work my butt off to be the best I can be. I have the positive mind set of no one is going to beat me and I will work my hardest to not let that happen. I’ve had coaches and teachers both tell me that I’m not the one to give up on myself, I …show more content…
They are good role models because they know what it takes to be successful in life and will do anything to achieve that feeling. We also tend to admire people with success that we don’t really know, which makes them look better in our eye because we have never seen or heard of them failing at anything before. Everyone in their life time has failed at a goal they set or not achieved what they wanted, the only thing that matters is if you can bounce back from the failure and come out on top. It’s easy for anyone to watch on TV actors, musicians, and models and admire their success because we only see what they want us to. It’s usually good to look up to someone with a lot of success, but then you need to build off of your own success not anyone else’s. The best kind of success is setting a goal that is very high and achieving it because you might of thought it was impossible to begin with but in the end you proved yourself wrong and achieve the
Generally speaking, success isn’t just about what you accomplish in life, it’s how you accomplished it and the impact you
Success can be an extremely broad subject. There is an abounding amount of different views on what the “true” definition of success is. Personally, I believe that success is finding happiness. Success is waking up in the morning and not having to worry about whether or not the bills are going to be paid this month. Success is having a job that you enjoy going to every day. Success is having friends and family who love and support you. Success does not mean that one has to be exceedingly rich or have a lakeside mansion. As long as they are happy, they have succeeded in life.
Success is not earning a fat juicy check at the end of each month, or being a part of a large social group filled with fraudulent people that appear as familiar faces. But it is a person discovering him or herself after they had been lost and establishing a sense of purpose that makes them fills them with a warm glowing sense of accomplishment. Success does not have one transparent definition, it has various meanings depending on what success means to the individual trying to achieve it. Success is surviving.
The definition of success can be different for everyone based on how they view the word. To me, success is doing all you can do to try to come out on top. A scenario of this would be during a basketball, your team is down by 12 points, everyone is running the fastest they can, shooting as accurate as they can, and supporting one another as much as they can.

Success means to live a life in alignment with what brings us real joy. In my case, “success-joy” comes in many guises. At times, in being persistent with my current dreams, others, investing time and energy in what makes my life shine, and that is, without a doubt, when my life is at service of humanity and when I cultivate happy and healthy close relationships. I tend to define success as a state of being, a constant process of unfolding rather than a place to arrive. It is the journey of getting to know ourselves, in order to fully occupy every aspect of what we are; a forever changing aspiration, a state of being in which we realize that life’s greatest rewards spring from our capacity to relate to adversity in innovative ways. I have also discovered that real success shows up again when we debunk and deconstruct every single stereotype and assumption we have about ourselves. In this way, we feel capable to challenge what is commonly accepted as wisdom and then we have the opportunity to change and integrate our values with greater ones. There is an enormous joy when we feel free to play with the possible new scenarios that our imagination and creativity compelled us to try. A successful state of being is alert and grounded within us with the certainty, that the choices we embark on are in resonance with what we consider is the truth of what we are in that precise
To many people success means the accomplishment of an aim or purpose. But what it really means is more than just that; is having a beautiful and amazing family of two boys and one girl, and have the best wife. Also, success means reaching my goals or dreams, like starting my new manufactory and insurance business and keep working hard because in order to reach things I must be ready to fall and rise up. But like I said, to obtain where I want to be; I’ll first need to finish college having my Bachelor in Accounting and start from zero.
Success is within the mind of the individual. A large portion of ones life is spent working to become successful. People are told throughout childhood to work hard so they can grow up and make lots of money. But success takes many different forms. Different people have different interpretations of what success means to them. For some, success is measured by social status and wealth; for others success is determined only by the amount of happiness one feels.
Success is the ability to give your all on a task that means something to you, to put every ounce of strength you have into giving it your best shot. It is being able to look back at your accomplishments, even if you did not reach your goals. It is also being able to smile because you knew you did your best, even if you did not accomplish that goal. Success is having the power and will to look forward and persevere with your journey or task after each failure without tiring, doubting yourself, or surrendering in defeat. Winston Churchill, a very influential and wise man, once said, among many other powerful quotes, “Success consists of going from failure to failure without loss of enthusiasm”. I agree with Mr. Churchill’s views about failure’s influence on success because success is a difficult journey that most people cannot reach on their first try, because failure is just another word for a success that just has not been reached yet, and because nobody would get
Success only truly comes with being happy. Happiness and success are the accomplices of one another. Someone cannot have accompanies without the other. Happiness brings success, and success brings even more happiness. Success, in the dictionary, is defined as the achievement of something desired planned or attempted. Therefore, success cannot be judged by anyone than oneself. It is a personal thing. It is the realization of goals, desires or plans made by one 's self. It is not measurable and yet is something we always use to compare others or appraise someone 's worth. Success, in one form or another, is something that someone should always be striving for. For some people it is something they will do subconsciously, and for others it will be something they will constantly labor for. Because success is something that is different for everyone, it is best that they measure their personal success by their sense of self worth instead of others. To have succeeded is to have lived, as someone wanted; ' it is to have lived well and laughed
Success comes in many shapes and sizes. It’s not always easy to attain success, and it can be a baffling process to actualize one’s goals. However, the best place to start is to personalize one’s own definition and vision of what success is. This allows for one’s goals and ideas to materialize and flourish. Success is composed of talent, determination, and happiness.
Success is the accomplishment of an aim or purpose. Success can be measured in many different ways. Some people may measure success by being financially stable, obtaining knowledge, getting a college degree, or having a high paying job. While those are all important goals leading to comfortable life, I would consider my personal description of success to be unlike many others. I value the relationships in my life above anything else. I direct my motivation towards my relationship with God, my spouse, family, and my friends. The people in my life are most important to me, because of the deep and intimate relationships I have with them. My goals in life revolve around the people in it, instead of material things or myself.

Success is something we all wish to achieve and even though we have different definitions of success, we all want to success in different aspects of our lives. For some success, success is attaining an education, others it's getting a good job, for others it's being wealthy, and others to start and own a business while for others it's having a family of our own and seeing our children prosper. We all have different metrics of measuring success and we all have different goals, but it is part of human instinct to want success, to want to succeed in everything we do no matter how small or big. Success gives us a feeling of development and growth, a sense of gratification that we are no longer where we used to be, but rather
