Definition Essay On Sacrifices

Have you ever denied an invitation to a party just to stay home and do homework or study? If so, an act of sacrifice was made throughout that process. Sacrifices are usually done when focused on a certain goal it is also thought as a motive. Another reason why some may make sacrifices are out of generosity for other. Of course there isn't just one type of sacrifice, there are a variety of sacrifices, in which all have different values and purposes and of course all are determined within different state of minds and perspectives. 

        Sacrifices are made on a daily basis, it can include simple sacrifices to life changing sacrifices. An example of a simple sacrifice can be an individual waking up early and missing out on sleep to do their hair and makeup to feel good about themselves throughout the day. A small sacrifice may be;

missing out on a party or social event to apply for scholarships, study for an important test, complete an important project. A life changing sacrifice may be replacing all the unhealthy yet so delicious snacks such as; chocolate, chips, soda, pizza and deciding on focusing on a healthier path by incorporating fruits and vegetables. Some sacrifices are done for generosity and consideration of others, for example; saying no to friends on fast food and saving that money for a gift. Most sacrifices are done as a motive towards a goal that one may want to accomplish in the future. 

        A sacrifice is generally made to reach a goal or sometimes simply for generosity, the similarities of both result in a positive outcome. Making educational purpose sacrifices result in success towards one future and life. The value of making sacrifices result in life changing results. For some individuals the value of making sacrifices may be losing weight, earning straight A's, making new friends, getting a job, etc. 

        The choice of making sacrifices are determined when one individually wants to better themselves or improve in a certain subject or topic.

The determination of sacrifices are not made by others, but yourself, choices are made by the thought of mind and point of view,  everyone has different perspectives. Some may say, "Just go to that party, you deserve to have a little fun!", while others may oppose and encourage one to the opposite, the 'sacrifice'. 

         Sacrifices are usually looked as losing something, but in reality an individual is sacrificing something that is less important for something that is extremely important and beneficial for one to grow and improve. It is crucial to stop and think about ones decisions and choices, the mind is the biggest competitor, it debates and makes one over think about the various choices and possible outcomes. At the end of the day, think about what is going to help you grow and improve for your

future.
