Damien Hirst
In 1976 Steve Jobs Co-founded the apple Computer Inc. Steve Jobs had an idea that would create a chain of brilliant ideas behind it. What Jobs did was step out of the normal and tested the limits of what could be done. Like Steve Jobs, music is constantly changing and developing new beats and styles. At the beginning of Lady’s Gaga’s career, many people questioned her style and music. Soon after, she was accepted and rose to the top of the charts. You may ask what this has to do with art but it’s very simple. Innovation takes time and patients. Like many music artist and inventers, painter and sculptors take risks with their ideas. According to “Other Criteria” Damien Hirst is one of the most influential artists of his generation. What Damien Hirst has done is very similar to what many inventers and new music artist are doing. Regardless of taste, an appreciator of art should be able to recognize when an artist exerts a large amount of effort and expresses a great amount of creativity. Understanding the concepts incorporated by truly talented artists helps the viewer better understand art in general. His pieces inspire in a way. They give you that thought of anything is possible, and you don't have to be normal to make clay. I have learned that there are many different wheel methods you can use. Such as folding the clay or distorting it in some way other then it is supposed to turn out. I learned that flaws in an artists work might not be flaws. I have noticed that in a art when something is different or unique from other artists work than they are noticed more and are much popular. In the future I will definitely be influenced to put more creativity into my work. It will make me think a lot more of how I can make my artwork and clay pieces different than others, and maybe unique isn't such a bad thing. Changing something up a little bit every once in a while isn't that bad. My perception of ceramic art has changed over the course of this year. Just making clay yourself will make you appreciate another's piece a lot more. Especially if clay pieces are basically perfect you will have a lot of respect for the artist of that clay. Learning about clay artists and the work did is just mind opening to what is possible. My perception has changed in a way that I will always judge a piece by its uniqueness and its ability to astound or make me question it. I'm very glad that when I spotted George Ohr I picked him. What I was very interested in this research was the fact that everyone thought he was

Ultimately, it can be seen that all artists are influenced or incorporate issues and events of their time in their works, whether this is from the desire to portray Greek perfection to that of religious beliefs and the creation of the camera. To become renowned like Polykleitos, Michelangelo and Pablo Picasso, this statement must be followed.
Since Beethoven was seen as such an influential composer, many sought to compose music similar to that of Beethoven and the other masters who had set the stage for classical music. Yet they could not be too similar to Beethoven and had to have uniqueness in their compositions. As Burkholder explains, composers that followed the musical canon, “...distinguished from their lesser contemporaries by their level of craftsmanship, by the strength of their musical personality, and by an ineffable quality of ‘inspiration,’ ‘beauty,’ or ‘truth’.(Burkholder 120). The craftsmanship can be interpreted as the way they created their compositions in a great way such as the main inspirers of these young composers did. The craftsmanship had to of course to make it an impact, like pieces in any museum, they have to show skill and express the quality of their design. Their strength in musical personality had to show their uniqueness and style they imposed when composing music, to the point where they could be distinguished through their compositions. This strength in personality had to pop out while still following and showing their inspiration, which was the most important quality, to that of the masters of classical music. The inspiration was a key factor that lead to the rise of the musical

Each of the artists mentioned here met Andy Warhol at different phases of his career. While the majority of them were seen at the infamous Factory, some came both before and after. Regardless of where they met and knew Warhol, they each had their own individual lessons and impacts. Jean-Michel Basquait was perhaps the last artist to come around and really know Andy Warhol. Julia Warhol was certainly the first. In between were very many amazing artists, almost too many artists to talk about. The most important, of course, have been mentioned in this paper. Andy Warhol is a man still impacting art long after his death. His visionary style changed forever the face of both commercial art and gallery art. Hopefully this paper communicated a bit of that genius.

These artists or this particular art movement were significant to art history not just because they created a new form of art work, but because not only is it an exceptional form of art, but it’s unusual.
