Yes!!! I jumped with excitement to finally be able to attend a game of my favorite NFL team of all time, The Dallas Cowboys. The view was great and the players looked ready to stomp all over the packers, but then there I was witnessing the crowd boo each other, and the opposing team players. What a shame I thought, a simple course of action being used to cause a nation's argument. Some of the players were kneeling during our nation's pledge. This is why many people should take advantage of that instead of disrespecting it. Such as you have the right to state your opinion or vote. You also have a chance to create your own path in life rather than being told what is required of you. Another reason why players shouldn’t shame the flag is because politics shouldn’t be involved in sports. The whole reason why families enjoy going to live games or even watching them on tv Sunday evening is to have fun, not to have to listen to others boo each other during the pledge , which really is just as disrespectful as kneeling. Besides, why should it have to be taken to the extreme to which is now our president having to get involved and take action, such as threatening players that they might lose their job? Some players, more than likely, wouldn't be able to afford to lose this high of a paying job. Most importantly, the final reason why players should pay their respects to our flag is because every second of everyday brave, courageous men and women risk their lives to save ours from any and all foreign enemies. From minor battles and skirmishes to worldwide combat, our military is always on their feet; whether they are in the US, Iraq, or halfway around the world they never back down. I believe people lack respect for the flag and what it stands for. Although most people are proud to be an American, some don’t understand what it truly means to be an American. The flag has a history, and should be respected because of that history. Although most believe that respect should be earned, our flag has earned this many times over. And I believe that our flag is taken for granted.
Mascots are beloved figure heads for sports teams everywhere almost every sport team has a mascot of some kind; that said, sometimes instead of bring people together it can cause a rift between two cultures. This term is widely used throughout the media when referring to the Dallas Cowboys. “America’s Team” was first coined some 40 years ago while introducing them for a feature film by the legendary sport writer Bob Ryan. In the following years, because of their success and mass media exposure they were a team that America as a nation could identify with ,so the name stuck. The Cowboys since those days has regressed into a very mediocre team who only looks for moral instead of actual Super Bowl victories.

They have many large fan communities. One of them is “blogging the boys”. They have their fan communities in every city and country of the world. They provide best entertainment before and after the game to their fans. They have the largest domed stadium facility complete with a retractable roof.
Some have seen friends and family get tortured and murdered by their own government for daring to do things we take for granted every day. For those who risked everything simply for the chance to become an American....what kind of feelings do they have for the flag when they Pledge Allegiance the first time? Go to a naturalization ceremony and see for yourself, the tears of pride, the thanks, the love and respect of this nation, as they finally embrace the American flag as their own. Ask one of them if it would be OK to tear up the flag.

Supporters think that the celebrities are smart by using their fame to bring attention to America’s problems, but others think that football games are not the appropriate place to focus on politics.
The removal of the flag supports the idea that citizens should forget the bloodiest battle on American soil. History is used to aid in the understanding of a complex nation. However, flying the flag as an emblem of white supremacy is undoubtedly wrong and inappropriate. Toleration should only be granted when the flag is flown for historical purposes. The flying of the Confederate flag reminds individuals that the soldiers’ lives then, just as soldiers’ lives from battles today, were not lost in vain.
Since 2005 the Philadelphia Eagles have saved 3 million dollars because of the environmental work they have done and 100 percent of their energy comes from reusable sources. ("Smarter Business: Greening the Games") To start off, most NFL teams have charities and donate to charities, especially the Philadelphia Eagles. Also, they help out with the environment. Teams have a special way to pick players around the league and in the draft for their team. To add to that, NFL teams and especially the Eagles keep a close eye on the player's health and how to keep them healthy. In fact, they must be. If the flag can even be construed as a symbol of racist ideology, it should be banned in schools.
