Dak Prescott and Jared Goff are two of the most anticipated rookies coming into the 2016 season, and both seem to be making a lot of attention with their two teams. Dak Prescott was drafted by the Dallas Cowboys in the 2016 NFL Draft with the 135th overall pick. Jared Goff, on the other hand; was the 1st overall pick. Dak Prescott was meant to be a player that could be used in the future; Tony Romo was meant to be the presumptive starting QB, but he is predicted to miss 6 – 10 weeks with a broken bone in his back, so Prescott will fill in for him. Dak Prescott is now scheduled to be the starting QB in the Cowboys first regular season game against the New York Giants. A lot of people anticipated that Goff would start for the Los Angeles Ram …show more content…
after he was picked #1 overall, but as of today, Case Kennum is scheduled to start the first regular season game against the San Francisco 49ers. Both of these QBs were expected to have different roles than what they have now, but time can only tell what will happen to the both of them in the future. Dak Prescott has been the best rookie QB to play in the preseason these last few weeks and doesn’t look to slow down anytime soon.
In his three preseason games with the Cowboys, he is 39/50 with 5 touchdowns, 0 interceptions, and 454 yards. Even without Tony Romo, the Cowboys don’t look like a complete disasters with Prescott taking over as QB. If Prescott can continue his brilliant rookie form, he can really take over the starting job for the Cowboys and give them some stability and life. If Prescott can play in the regular season like his playing now, with assets like Ezekiel Elliot and Dez Bryant, the Cowboys might be able to turn some heads this season without Tony Romo. Prescott was originally seen as a #3, but now he is #1 and former backup QB, Kellen Moore has taken Prescott’s old role. The Cowboys might also share the starting role between Prescott and Moore if neither can perform in the regular season, until Romo …show more content…
returns. Jared Goff is a little bit more interesting because the Rams coaching staff have options when picking a QB to start in the regular season.
The Rams already have a pretty stacked offensive rushing player in Todd Gurley and solid receiving corps with players like Tavon Austin and rookie Pharoh Cooper, but their quarterback position has been shaky the last couple of seasons and the three players eyeing for the position this year haven’t been too bad this preseason. Case Keenum is most likely going to start, unless he is injured or either Jared Goff or Sean Mannion just do something amazing in the last preseason game. That begs the question, what will Goff’s role be as the number one overall pick. He will most likely turn into the #3 QB and won’t make any starts this season, unless Keenum comes down with an injury. Even though Prescott will get the opportunity to start for the Cowboys, Goff will be in a better position because he isn’t on a team that will most likely finish last in their division. The Rams might be in the division with the Arizona Cardinals, Seattle Seahawks, and San Francisco 49ers, but they have a team that looks good enough to beat out at least two of these teams this upcoming year. If the quarterback position, whoever it may be, can stay solid, the Rams have a great opportunity to even make the playoffs. Jared Goff will be able to learn a lot quicker when his team is winning games instead of losing them, but this doesn’t mean that Prescott won’t be a great
QB for the Cowboys. The Cowboys simply put, don’t have the team ready to win in the NFC East, even if Prescott plays great. Both of these players could or could not play prominent roles in their team’s success this year. If Prescott can fill in Romo’s role and do it without any hiccups, the Cowboys will be team to watch out for, but Prescott is still a rookie coming into an unknown league and this means that his great preseason numbers probably won’t carry over to the regular season. Just because he had three stellar games as a rookie in the preseason doesn’t mean that will translate to rookie of the year. Jared Goff, will probably not have too big of role for the Rams because he is part of the future, rather than this season. Prescott will probably get more attention this season, but Goff seems to be the better QB in the end and will probably impact his team in a more profound way in the future, if the scouts were correct about him.

During the War for American Independence, 78 men were commissioned as general officers into the Continental Army by the Continental Congress. Many of these generals commanded troops with differing levels of competence and success. George Washington is typically seen as most important general, however throughout the war a number of his subordinates were able to distinguish themselves amongst their peers. One such general was Nathanael Greene. At the end of the Revolutionary War, Greene would become Washington’s most important subordinate, as demonstrated by Edward Lengel’s assessment of Greene as “the youngest and most capable of Washington’s generals.” Washington and Greene developed a strong, positive and close relationship between themselves. Greene began his life in the military after having been raised a Quaker. With limited access to literature and knowledge in his younger years, Greene became an avid reader which equipped him with the knowledge necessary to excel as a general during the war. Through his devoted study of military operations, firsthand experience and natural abilities as a soldier, Greene became an excellent military commander. He would become known for his successful southern campaign, during which, he loosened British control of the South and helped lead the war to its climax at Yorktown. Throughout the war, he was involved in a number high profile battles where he built a reputation of being an elite strategist who also understood unconventional warfare, logistics, and the importance of military-civil affairs and had a natural political/social acumen. The thesis of this paper is that Greene’s proven reputation of being a soldier, strategist and statesman would cause him to become the second greates...

Billy Graham once said, "The one badge of Christian discipleship is not orthodoxy but love." By this definition, June Callwood, a social activist and journalist, displays true discipleship through her work of bringing awareness to groups often discriminated against. June loved everybody equally and realized that gender, age, pecuniary possessions, or race do not define a person's worth. In other words, June Callwood is a disciple because she worked towards making a better world where the rights of every human are respected.
However, if Shepherd can find a way to step up his game and prove he is worth the long-term investment, making the final roster for the season or, at least, being assigned to the practice squad is a win for him. All of this will be contingent on the idea that he is healthy, but there is a sneaky strong reason to believe that he could surprise the coaching staff in training camp.
You should have in mind what players you want on your team. You should research all the player’s statistics from the previous year and see if they are consistent with his being a reliable player. You should look at his past injuries and research the significance of them. You should keep up with the NFL news to see which players that were traded or injured. You should also look at the player’s schedule because whether he is playing against a hard or easy team could affect his performance. Finally, you should read fantasy magazines and, most importantly, you should listen to what all fantasy experts are suggesting that you
For years, the debate over who the most productive fantasy players were in a given era was fixated on the top-rated running backs. With a gradual change in play calling philosophies, that trend has shifted dramatically since 2010. Such a dramatic shift - that now getting a top tier wide receiver is a higher draft priority than stocking up on ball carriers. However, since 2010 a few NFL fantasy superstars have been consistently the best point producers.

During the October 1905 the creation of a parliamentary assembly, the Duma, was originally to be elected by the limited male suffrage. However, it led to another serious question of female suffrage. Women did not have any rights to vote. Since this was the time when the feminist movements began, the indignation at exclusion from this privilege was not only common to a small circle of educated female, but also to peasant women. There were several protests against this. It encouraged solidarity in the struggle for reform. However, there were some people who were opposed to the adoption of female suffrage, since most peasant women lack of political education/participation and it might lead to some destruction in the Duma. The struggle for female
This essay will explore the trivialities of a man who battles self-deprivation, class struggle, life experience, and money. Ramsay is one who does enough to be on the verge of raising his class status, but finds himself loathing both the bourgeois lifestyle, and those who are members of this rising class. I argue that Ramsay thinks of himself as a proletariat, but is bourgeois in reality. The text relies on a theme of Ramsay’s value of life experience and Boy’s value of social and monetary capital. There is a connection between the two: Dunstan looks to Boy for advice in financial matters. Ramsay is one who speaks on Boy’s successes in many areas of life frequently, and always has a reason as to why his experience of life is better. Ramsay’s plebian arrogance is self-prescribed and wanted, but at times results in self-loathing and doubt. Fifth Business is fantastic with how the book explores the thematic discourse of Marxist realities in Deptford, Ontario, and abroad. Throughout Dunstan

Agent Carter Season 1 Much like Luke Cage, Agent Carter explores social justice but in the late 1940’s. Hayley Atwell is easily the best part of the show as she fights for women’s rights and kicks a lot of ass on the way. Agent Carter deserved her own story and it was a treat for fans to see a strong woman in a lead role that inspired women everywhere. Agents of Shield Season 4 Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD just gets better and better with every season. Season 4 explored a much darker tone and introduced fan favorites like Ghost Rider and Madam Hydra.
