Dachau Concentration Camp Many unbelievable things happened to the Jews during the Holocaust. Jews were treated terribly in the concentration camps. They were forced to work/ do manual labor, they died slow and painful deaths. Many of them were treated like animals. Jews had to work and sleep in harsh conditions and die slow and very painful deaths. In camp Dachau Jews were forced to build roads, drain marshes, and work in gravel pits. They had to sleep or hard wooden boards located in old farm stables. These stables got filled up with Jews super quick so you were usually sharing a spot meant for one person with more than one person.
