Daca is a short abbreviation of Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals whereas Dreamers are those hundredth thousand immigrants who came to us, hoping better things in their life. It is the policy introduced by the Department of Homeland Security on June 15, 2012. It is an organization or act created by the Obama administration that has been helping lots of undocumented immigrants to come to the United States for reasons such as economics, poverty, and violence. With this policy, many illegal young who came to U.S has received permission to work, study and gain Driver’s license. Daca has some requirement to be its recipients. Although the trump administration made its decision to stop the program Daca, I claim that it shouldn’t be terminated as it will result in the large economic fall, including the jobs, health care and education sectors affecting many undocumented people. U.S. economy needs immigrants, including those who are currently undocumented. Daca recipients have made a positive effect on the economy of U.S. According to the survey carried out by the left-leaning Center for American Progress (CAP) and the National Immigration Law Center and University of California, more than 800,000 immigrants have come to us, all protected by Daca policy, among them 91% are employed. (Paul p6). Daca member has played a significant role in boosting up our economy. Immigrants are residing in our soil in huge number. Many Daca recipients “Dreamers,” are born and raised in U.S soil, they are also American, but only lack is legal recognition. Deporting them means cutting up half of the skilled human resources and human resource for the job. It will bring the scarcity of teachers in the schools. Before Daca policy, district school must recruit teachers from outside of the country. They used to hire teachers from Mexico, Spain, Puerto Rico. But with Daca programme, it has been easy for the district schools to recruit teachers with better English. Also, with Daca. Many colleges and university have felt more comfortable providing financial aid to students. Students were getting the benefit from in completing their graduation. Many Daca recipients are pursuing a high school diploma; some are in associate degree, bachelor’s degree, some are a seeking a trade or vocational certificate. After completing their graduation, most of them will be working in their related field helping the national economy. More than that, an immigrant student from different country argue, bring a different viewpoint and method and diverse background to college, and will contribute to the country’s economy after graduation. But the author insists that immigrant’s dream of being a success and achieving their career is uncertain because of Daca future. Ending Daca means no work permit, implies no fund for the education.
